This is a MUST read for people to know more about Obama from the Investor’s Business Daily. This guy is the scariest person to ever aspire to the presidency. More research like this is needed before we make a huge mistake.
“Americans have been betrayed by a “casino” on Wall Street, Republican presidential candidate John McCain said Tuesday, defending earlier comments that US economic fundamentals are “strong.”"
So the nations stock exchange is a casino and we are fundamentally strong…The stock market and the Big lenders are actually two separate things. The Market is just reacting to the lenders troubles.
” “We’re going to fix it. We’re going to be sure that every American who has a deposit in the bank, their deposit is insured.”"
The Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 already did exactly that, 3 years before McCain was born. It’s called the FDIC…
” “I promise you, we will never put America in this position again. We will clean up Wall Street,”"
Herbert Hoover (R) put us there in 1930 with the great depression. Bush (R) is getting us there again. Will McCain (R) give us Great Depression II…
” “We will come back from this crisis, but right now we are the victim of greed, excess and corruption in Wall Street which is hurting them very, very badly and, unfortunately, it will in the future, but I believe in the American worker and I believe the American worker is the fundamental strength and future of America,”"
No… Housing prices fell and loans went into default. The mass of those defaults put the lenders under. No one expected the drop in house at those levels. Those same American workers that skipped out on their loans caused it…
McCain is totally clueless…

Huh? Republicans love Socialism – Corporate Socialism. McTool loves it, too. He love’s to collect that 100% Disability check but votes against the modern GI Bill. That disability check is worth $58,000 a year TAX FREE. TAX FREE. In case you missed TAX FREE. He’s Country first, too. Just not our country. Look into that sweet Air force deal he has snatched away from Boeing to give to Airbus. No big deal. It’s only 35,000 jobs. I wonder how much he got paid to side with the enemy this time. After all, the guy that resigned from McCain’s staff a few months ago was a major lobbyist for Airbus, but I’m sure there’s absolutely no connection at all. Right! I wonder if McCain used that “Disability Money” to put on down payments for those 7 or 10 houses. Who can keep track? I’m betting the money to buy those houses came from Cindy’s father – and her father’s gangster friends who setup Cindy’s father with that beer distributorship, apparently all part of her father taking the fall and going to prison for a mob boss.

When did Mccain become soley responsible for all of the majority Democratic congress’s voting woes. Wall street is not controlled by congress. All the dumb people who took on mortgages that were more than 30 percent of their income only have themself to blame. Prices go up everyday on services and you can never count on your pay to increase, just think of it as a bonus. Furthermore any increase passed to a company is passed on to the consumer, so who will Obama help? Only the 30% of people who do not pay taxes anyway. McCain is the only way for the working man and women.

The MSM is distorting everything again. The Great Depression is a Myth created by Hollywood. A lot of unstable people lied about being in the depression, so if your grandparents told you they were in the depression, sorry, that is where you inherited your inclination to lie and why you are a Democrat.
The economy is in fine shape right now. Lehman Brothers, Bear-Sterns, all of them, are just pulling the same trick that your Uncle Abe pulled: declare bankruptcy, leave your creditors high and dry and collect money from hard working taxpayers.
There may have been some mild downturn in the economy, but this is not man made anymore than global warming is.
If you want to see a depression, elect Obama, then you won’t have to pretend you are in one like your grandparents and great grandparents did. Most of them were Communists or Socialists like Obama and his friends.
McCain is 100% right. It doesn’t matter that his money came from mobsters. That is just a red herring. McCain didn’t ask for the money, he simply married a very beautiful woman whose father got in a little bit of trouble with the law. That doesn’t make him a mobster.

We Luv Sarah,
You’re hilarious. You’re saying our economy “is in fine shape right now.” What’s your real name, Cindy McCain? Well if you think that, you should definitely vote for McCain – because as they say:
“If you like Bush, you’re going to love McCain.”
You also add that The Great Depression never occurred. What were you home-schooled or something? Listen you’re not supposed to believe the right-wing radio hosts like Limbaugh and Hannity. That’s just entertainment, not truth.
Now take this little mini-course on The Great Depression. Pay attention. There might be a quiz later.
Hmm.. let’s review our sarcastic friends comments for a sec. PR quotes what McCain said. Which is excellent, actually. Two points I disagree with though.
Herbert Hoover didn’t run the Federal Reserve. They are a private corporation. The Fed. Reserve literally removed the currency from the economy which caused the collapse called the Great Depression. My grandparents can still make 10 different utensils out of a tuna can because of that failure. They said work was available everywhere, but nobody had money to pay you. When your economy is based on fiat paper controlled by a private enterprise, that is the risk you take. Congress should print money, as designated in the US Constitution. But they don’t. Blame them.
Secondly, the fall of housing prices has nothing to do with people’s ability to pay their mortgage. Their ability to pay their mortgage affects their ability to pay their mortgage. Banks gave out unsecured and credit vacant loans to people that buy and flip houses. They gave out so many that banking became completely dependent on essentially a future’s market. That was the banks choice and fault. And that can be mandated and corrected by a Federal policy. If the FDIC backs a banks deposits, they can mandate how a bank must function in order to insure that backing. That can be literally “fixed” as McCain said. Credit card companies check and reject your credit to debt ratio routinely. Why didn’t the banks?
As for Nicks comments, getting a tax-free disability check due to an injury sustained while defending your country is the norm and has been the norm since Rome. Taxing somebody that lost his arm defending you is seriously sick on just about every level. If you disagree with that, then I suggest you lose a leg defending me and then tell me how grateful you are that your benefits are paying for a banking bailout in a future’s market collapse. Not charging taxes when you gave your country body parts is the least that they can do.
As for We Luv Sarah, I think there’s medication to help you. Don’t be embarrassed to seek help. Mental illness affects many Americans. There is no shame in it.

Obviously you Obama sheep weren’t alive for the Carter Administration. You don’t know what economic distress is. We had home mortgage rates at 21%, double-digit inflation and unemployment over 9% by the time Reagan took office.
And YOU want to put the same kind of fool into the White House? Obama will destroy the economy the same way he has destroyed everything he has ever had any direct responsibility for.
Show me one thing he has successfully managed, outside of his own self-promotion. Just one.

Jag-
There is no logical way you can defend the fact that McCain receives 100 percent disabilty when he was able to go back to work for the navy after he was a POW. It’s not like he’s bedridden and unable to work. And for goodness sake, there are quadraplegics who learn how to use a computer by themselves without a nurse maid. What part of 100 percent disabled is hard to understand? McCain didn’t lose a limb. He certainly wasn’t so incapacitated that he couldn’t work later in Congress after he retired from the navy. Which is it? Is he in excellent health ready to fight Washington pork while he receives 58,000 a year for supposedly being disabled or is he a 100 percent disabled war veteran unable to work at all? Keep in mind that McCain just recently decided not to support the new GI Bill to help the real soldiers pay for some education. He also wouldn’t pursue finding the POW and MIAs in Vietnam during congressional meetings he led. So it’s ok for McCain, he has his wife’s dirty gangster money to help him, along with his own little private wellfare package from the government, as well as a pretty little nice income from Congress. That’s not too shabby. Wouldn’t a lot veterans like such a sweet deal? What a shame all of the veterans injured didn’t have fathers or generals to pull strings for them. You know – the homeless vets stuck in wheelchairs panhandling. What, you’ve never seen one of those? Really? Never. Hmmm. They certainly look a lot more worthy of disability than McCain. I guess their daddy wasn’t an admiral.

What is fundamentalty sound about the economy is that the American people will turn this thing around.
If have an example of rules or statutes that the Bush Administration changed to create the financial mess please state them. I will then research these and make up my own mind.
If you believe that everything that happens belongs to the president then that is your right. I personally would have to see some proof of the “failed policies” that can be directly placed at Bush’s feet.

Are you believing the morning papers?
War is coming back in style
There’s generals here, advisers there
And Russians nibbling everywhere
The chessboard’s filling up with red
We make more profits when we blow off their heads!
Economy is looking bad
Let’s start another war.
Fan the fires of racist hatred
We want total war!
Drooling fingers
Panic buttons
Playing with missiles like they’re toys
There’s easy money, easy jobs
Especially when you build the bombs
That blow big cities off the map
Just guess who profits when we build ‘em back up?

MT-
Bush has borrowed massive amounts of money from foreign countries to fund tax cuts for the wealthy and also fund the Iraq war. As a result, our country has racked up an insurmountable amount of foreign debt – which we can hardly even pay the interest on. He’s basically bankrupted the country with his policies.
