Obama and Jesus were both community organizers! Now, come one stupid religious right conservatives, vote Obama. If you don’t, then it proves you are stupid. Democrats love Jesus.

Obama ‘08

wicket   September 14th, 2008 - 10:47 am

Ha,

this skit is so true, it’s sick and funny.

Good Work, SNL.

Miranda   September 14th, 2008 - 10:48 am

hahahahahah…….Mildred I guess the truth hurts even when it is realized thru comedy.
Real Americans for OBAMA!!!

Jimbo   September 14th, 2008 - 11:34 am

Absolute true rendition! Great work SNL for exposing this religious freak for who she really is. Dumber than a rock! And the far right thinks she is going to sway the women vote?? I have news for all you right wing wackos. I work with a bunch of hard core Republicans, and although they are riding the train now, at the water cooler and in the restrooms, they’re all whispering “no way”! I hear it every day.

TotalKaosDave   September 14th, 2008 - 11:35 am

Miranda, it’s real COMMUNISTS for Obama. Real Americans don’t want communism or socialism; THEY DON’T WORK, NEVER HAVE, NEVER WILL…kind of like the people who would vote for Obama…Mother Government will save them from their bad decisions…

Steve F   September 14th, 2008 - 11:46 am

What would you expect from SNL ALL a bunch of druggers/welfare dependent dorks! Of course they support Obama because he’ll take from the WORKERS and give to the lazy non workers. Keep it up Hollywood ALL “normal (non Dems) folks, will vote for McCain in a landslide come Nov. Especially when more comes out about Obama’s friends, health history, and of course Bidens TWO Brain aneurysms suffered in the last ten years. No wonder he comes out with such stupid remarks. SNL where is your skit on Obama & Rev Wright, Ayers, Rezko et al..now that is funny and VERY SAD!

Bobo   September 14th, 2008 - 12:01 pm

I love the posts from liberals defending liberals and liberal behavior.

It’s very logical. Lowlife scum will always defend fellow scum.

Keep it Up   September 14th, 2008 - 12:20 pm

I love it when liberals act like people of faith are stupid. You’re attacking over 90% of the country when you do that. Also, you do realize McCain is running for President, right? Attacking Sarah Palin is a losing proposition – you are just making her more popular. Check the polls if you need more evidence.

Please keep it up until November 4. Obama might lose more states than Dukakis.

Babyfacemagee   September 14th, 2008 - 12:41 pm

I agree…Palin isn’t qualified to be president…and neither is Obama. They both have a similar amount of time in office and Palin has executive experience as a governor…which Obama does not. That means Obama has never had to make a legal decision while Palin has.

But all this is besides the point…it’s funny how the Demo-libs here are overlooking the fact that Hillary and Obama were competing for the PRESIDENTIAL nomination. Palin is the VICE PRESIDENTIAL nominee. John McCain blows both Obama and Hillary out of the water when it comes to everything from political experience, wisdom, proven sacrifice for their country and leadership ability. Hillary rode on her husband’s coat-tails and wouldn’t even be known if it weren’t for Bill. For her to deride Palin for not having ‘earned her way’ is actually kind of funny and quite poetic justice.

It’s a slam dunk folks. McCain is the only one qualified to be president this year…which is what more and more people are realizing hence the change in the polls to favor McCain-Palin. John McCain for President. It’s the only sensible choice.

Philly   September 14th, 2008 - 1:01 pm

I love it how they admit that McCain is likely to win. Great rips on Hilary. LOL. Well wriiten.

Miranda   September 14th, 2008 - 1:35 pm

SuperSarge229…sounds like you are pretty angry. I don’t know where you are from, but I’m an American and have worked all my life in this country. I am proud to help others in need, thats the American way. I was once “underprivledged” and I now give back to the programs, the communities and the country that helped me on my feet. I think you would do well to take a course in National Affairs so you can keep up an intelligent conversation and sound like you know what you are talking about. Maybe help someone out and you will feel better about yourself and country.

Glenn   September 14th, 2008 - 1:58 pm

I’m really surprised that individual used the terms “slam dunk”. Haven’t we heard that somewhere before?

demdicks   September 14th, 2008 - 2:09 pm

Remember that snl runs on nbc, which is owned by ge, they are as responsible as the other liberal news outlets trying to destroy McCain-Palin while throwing nothing but roses to their chosen one. Boycott them all.

John   September 14th, 2008 - 2:55 pm

Funny, but this skit just reminds me of how sexy Palin is compared to Hillary.

Steve F   September 14th, 2008 - 2:57 pm

MIRANDA of course Sarge is RIGHT..you may be from this country…but the fact is this country was made by folks that brought themselves up not your precious “community” RE: welfare, govt. assistance. You are the one that needs to read the history of this great country. Your pathetic..are you the Miranda in the “miranda rights case” consider your rights have just been canceled….. to be a fool!

Carole   September 14th, 2008 - 3:09 pm

Tina a Fey is a washed up hag and any similarity in looks to Governer Sara is completely coincidental.

Sure, the Alaska State Troopers refer to Wasilla as Meth City but judging by the ex-brother-in-law Governor Palin is trying to fire, they are a bunch of lying scum.

She spent her entire Mayor career making trying to make the City a better place for all citizens, white or black. The previous mayor to her didn’t help anyone. When Govoner Sarah took office, the per capita debt of the City was Zero but when she left it was $3000 for each person. She borrowed and spent that money to hel the people, many of them who could not get jobs because of the Liberals and the Illegals.

Obama's own fault   September 14th, 2008 - 4:31 pm

The left has no one to blame for losing this election but Obama.

It was his decision to choose a nobody, dull doorknob like Biden as a VP, He should have went with Hilary.

He made a horrible decision, underestimated McCain and over estimated his own. Now he is in shit creek.

Dont get pissed at Palin, Obama made this mess for him self. Better in the campaign than in the white house.

By the way, why do you libs love people that love them selfs so much, Bill and Obama, the 2 biggest egos, most self ritious people in politics and you libs get such a hard on for them, I just dont get it. They say, if the farmer gives the pigs a little feed, they will follow him to the slaughter house happily. Obama is your farmer, and you follow him happily, oblivious to his intentions.

ukko   September 14th, 2008 - 5:15 pm

To all the libtards out there that thinks Palin really thinks you can “see Russia from Alaska”: ABC news edited out the rest of her sentence, which was: “There are islands of Alaska from which you can see Russia.” ABC editors are chortling to themselves that, once again, they pulled a hit job on a conservative. But come Nov. 4th, they will once again ask themselves: How could this country be so stupid to elect Mccain and Palin? It must suck being a libtard elite and wonder why the american people don’t “get it.” The funny thing is, the joke is actually on you, libtards!

Omar Sharrif   September 14th, 2008 - 5:25 pm

Obama and McCain at Ground Zero

Another small, but telling, symbolic moment was when Obama and McCain were set to put their flowers on the memorial. Obama casually tossed his on the pile. McCain, gently placed his down on the pile. Different styles: McCain solemnly commemorates the fallen, while Obama casually does. A subliminal “moment” that the mainstream media will never pick up on but American voters SAW IT!

Joe Poncakia   September 14th, 2008 - 5:33 pm

Boths sides need to lighten up. Both ladies did a marvelous job and the sketch was funny as hell. Hillary still has a lot of miles left in her but Tina Fey HAS to be praying that Palin gets elected. She’ll be the star of SNL for at least the next 5 years…LOL

Dave Jones   September 14th, 2008 - 5:45 pm

Conservatives, get real!!! SNL has always been a Far Left Wing show and that is why I quit watching it years ago. To say that they aren’t fair is like saying that Willy boy had a bit of trouble keeping his pants zipped up, a total understatement!

Mildred   September 14th, 2008 - 5:49 pm

Obama the muslim wouldn’t even know which direction to look. Biden the windbag would look at the sky and yell “STAND UP, CHUCK”.

Gringo   September 14th, 2008 - 5:53 pm

Your faith is as weak as your intellect rich. In truth you have no faith you’re just another confused left winger.

theDude   September 14th, 2008 - 6:12 pm

Keep laughing and throw all the muck you want, all the way to the McCain land slide in November.

We will not give this great country up to a minority group of radical anti-american socialists.

tina   September 14th, 2008 - 6:17 pm

Great skit! But I’m still voting for McCain/Palin!

Miranda   September 14th, 2008 - 6:21 pm

hahahaha….”Gringo” you are so narrow minded. Just a reminder we live in the year 2008….no one is pure anything and I would love to know if you know your own lineage. Can you honestly say and be proud? I feel sorry for you, and because your emails have not been educational or productive in anyway, I feel your not worth any additional responses.

“Matt in Austin”…thank you and I absolutley agree with you.

yo1   September 14th, 2008 - 6:22 pm

I just want one Obot to tell me what has Obama changed before? One thing that he has done? One… Please just one thing-

Obama is a total fraud sold to you by George Soros and the Chicago Machine

momydearestc   September 14th, 2008 - 6:32 pm

Not much of a fan of SNL anymore. Haven’t been for awhile. Too anti Republican. I’m sure I’m not the only one. The meth joke was in bad taste, but what should anyone expect from SNL. The liberals are just mean and nasty. I guess if Gov Palin smoked crack like Obama and had an abortion like all the lib women you idiots would like her better…
Mother in Texas…..

MoonbatBane   September 14th, 2008 - 6:41 pm

Matt in Austin said: “He was a Saul Alinski organizer. When that comes out in Oct. Obama is done.”

Hate to disagree. It should matter, but most people don’t understand who Saul “I dedicate my book to Lucifer” Alinsky is. If only the gov’t schools and media did their jobs…

dswilli   September 14th, 2008 - 6:57 pm

Need any more proof NBC is in the tank for Obama? They just showed this skit on the NBC nightly news.

ObamaHatesJews   September 14th, 2008 - 7:15 pm

Only liberals watch this sad show anymore.

Which is why my Arkansas relatives, who are all Democrats, are absolutely railing against Obama and his media assets today.

The Hillary to McCain conversion is complete.

What fun!

Harry M   September 14th, 2008 - 7:29 pm

They keep bringing up about Wasilla being the crystal Meth capital of Alaska but they never mention that in her 2nd election, Palin returned most of the money she got from the drug dealers. No one ever proved that she ever used drugs and what her kids did is off limits, they should be kept out of this.

Typical liberal bias. It wasn’t even funny.

Jerry   September 14th, 2008 - 7:37 pm

I don’t understand you liberal atheists who hate Palin because she is religious. So you are voting for Obama. But wait a minute….doesn’t Obama claim to be a Christian? That means that he believes in God and Jesus too! He believes in the same thing Palin does! But you don’t hate HIM! You are voting for him. You liberals are such hypocrites.

George   September 14th, 2008 - 7:58 pm

I was leaning toward Obama because of change, but Palin and the ugly manor people have been treating her has caused me to look at the McCain ticket to see what that are actually saying in their speeches and platform.

I now see clearly that the type of change we need in Washington is what McCain and Palin are proposing. Palin helps crystalizes these issues for me. On the other hand, Obama speeches have become empty rhetoric to me and she has the tenacity we need in Washington to make real change possible.

steady_01   September 14th, 2008 - 8:07 pm

After all these years, SNL still sucks.

Shame isn't it   September 14th, 2008 - 8:12 pm

This isn’t going to help the “Messiah” one bit. LOL

Ralph   September 14th, 2008 - 8:25 pm

Liberalism is a mental disorder. We see it in a desperate democratic party as well in the main stream media. They have Post Palin distress disorder. She represents everything they said a women could not achieve unless it was within their ranks. The same with Clarence Thomas because he did not go through the Jessie Jackson institution. They detest people like this because it proves the dribble from their mouths over the decades is a lie. They are desperate. Their lies command less and less drones every day and they are finding it harder to peddle their world views to a captive audience. Thanks to the new media we have other options. Palin poses a great challenge for them so they have united in a last desperate act to destroy her because it could very well be the last we see of a tired and out of touch political world view that was rooted in the 60’s.

Miranda   September 14th, 2008 - 8:28 pm

It’s sad that real change scares so many people. But don’t worry “totalkaosdave” I’m sure you will change your views once Obama and Biden are elected. Oh, by the way…What exactly do the McSame team have to offer regarding change and firm resolutions to nationl and international issues and concerns? I mean besides calling themselves Mavericks, I have yet to hear resolutions. They have repeated the same tired speech over and over again. This excerpt from CNN/Politico might be of some interest:

“Every day not talking about the economy, the war and how to fix a broken system is a victory for McCain,” said John Weaver, a former top strategist to the nominee who left the campaign last year. “They’re going to ride it as long as they can and as long as the mainstream media puts up every ridiculous charge.”

The negative and often exaggerated or misleading claims being made about Obama and Delaware Sen. Joe Biden, especially those playing on Palin’s gender, are just too irresistible for the process-consumed online and cable news media that now drives the campaign conversation, Weaver said.
At that point, “the biggest burden for the McCain campaign will be to convey a compelling, positive vision for the country’s future.”

Jonathan Martin Sat Sep 13, 8:10 AM ET

I think that helps sum up the Republican campaign. Oh and by the way to all the Americans out there that would like to make this campaign about religion, we are in America…..we can follow any religion we like “freely” just in case there was some confusion. Palin unfortunetly continues to spew Gods name so often she comes across like a radical (Bible beater), therefore non-Christians take offense. I think its fine to believe whatever you wish, but keep it to yourself when it regards religion. Obviously, this was done to bring the Evangelicans to the Republican side. Remeber everything done in politics has a purpose.

SuperSarge229   September 14th, 2008 - 8:48 pm

You libs don’t really still think Obama Lin Biden has a chance, do you? I mean really, it has to be obvious by now that those two are even bigger losers than Kerry and the Breck girl! Your candidates have insulted every true patriot in the country and can only rely on votes from the truly deluded socialist wannabe pukes from New England and California, and of course that one group of voters that want to be given money taken from those who work for a living. You know the “underprivledged”. The ones we’ve been “keeping down” with government programs and entitlements. It’s over. Go away. Sit down and shut up! And yes, mass suicide is a noble option for all of you!
Losers!

Mr.P   September 14th, 2008 - 9:27 pm

This country was founded by Christians, and McCain has awakened a sleeping giant with the brilliant choice of Palin.Go ahead and spew your hate Commie Liberals, you’ll be smashed like an ant at the polls in November.
Funny how SNL has’nt parodied the muslim B.Hussein Obama on their lame show.

Adelaide   September 14th, 2008 - 9:48 pm

I agree that Jesus of Nazareth was a “community organizer”. The difference is that he was not organzing the Judeans so they could get more free stuff from Rome.

notta-meangirl   September 14th, 2008 - 9:57 pm

My young daughter has seen the movie “Mean Girls” (written by Fey) many times, and we often discuss the great message for girls.

Tina, you’re a complete hipocrite and you have proven one of our favorite quotes from the movie: “Women would run the world if they didn’t hate each other.” What a disappointment you are.

notta-meangirl   September 14th, 2008 - 10:01 pm

Sorry–I meant hypocrite, but I’m sure you got the message anyway.

DesertThunder   September 14th, 2008 - 10:27 pm

Funny thing, Palin is still more experienced than Obama on every level. The more the dems wriggle about her and Obama the more his (Obama’s) lack of experience shines through. Obama claims to be a christian with strong faith and yet Palin catches flack for her believes. The Dems are doomed to defeat because they are the party of defeat and surrender.

dswilli   September 14th, 2008 - 10:37 pm

I remember a time when SNL was relevant.

Gringo   September 14th, 2008 - 10:40 pm

Nice Miranda, now go crawl under the fence back to whichever 3rd world Latin American sewer you crawled out of.

Richard   September 14th, 2008 - 10:40 pm

Tina Fey is a great example of putting lipstick on a pig but it didn’t work for Tina. She would need $50,000 worth of plastic surgery to look half as good as Sarah Palin.

dswilli   September 14th, 2008 - 10:51 pm

So Miranda Obama is going to beat McCain? Really? Not sure where you get your information. In the polling I’m reading McCain is tracking far better than Bush at this point. Biden is a joke, he’d better start pulling his weight soon or Obama will jettison him. Also I’m intrigued with your definition of “real Americans”, it sure as hell isn’t an Obama core supporter. Obama’s core suppporter’s are unemployed welfare recipients. Do you really think a country full of unemployed welfare recipients could have defeated the Nazi’s in WW2? Me either, so stop speaking through your a$$. REAL Americans want a rugged individualist not some mama’s boy “community organizer”.

Joe Blowmenow   September 14th, 2008 - 10:52 pm

Why on EARTH would “intelligent” Americans vote Dumbo for president? You ever see the EARS on that dude??? He IS Dumbo!!!

Miranda   September 14th, 2008 - 10:56 pm

I guess “Gringo” the truth hurts. Just like a Republican to make up information to try to make a point. By the way, I’m not Latin American. I’m German born in the US. Facts are a beautiful thing are they not? Learn a few, you will be smarter for it.

Miranda   September 14th, 2008 - 11:23 pm

It’s funny to me “Steve F” that ridicule and name calling is all Republicans do when they feel threatened by truth. By the way I know the history of this country. I understand and appreciate our freedoms….our freedoms to make/have an opinion and a choice. So you vote your way, I will vote mine. Hopefully, America will benefit either way.

tootsie   September 14th, 2008 - 11:33 pm

SNL = 1* kind of people

Sarah Palin = 4* kind of person

Big space there – SNL is missing just a bit between the ears!

TINA FOR President   September 14th, 2008 - 11:41 pm

TINA FEY shows more talent, ingenuity, creativity, humor, smarts, and beauty than all the others rolled together.

Tina for President!

JohnnyB   September 14th, 2008 - 11:59 pm

What is wrong with SNL. If you watched the entire show it was pathetic. If the typical Obama supporter thinks SNL is funny, we are in real trouble as a nation. To whom it may concern at G E , save the energy and sign off if you have nothing better to air than SNL. John Belushi must be spinning in his grave. The evening news has more chuckles

Their way of coping   September 15th, 2008 - 12:00 am

What do you expect from SNL, even they have an agenda. They begged Obama (their hero) to come on to their show so they could kiss his ass all day. He canceled, so they do the next best thing, kiss his ass by fighting his fights for him.

But you can’t really get upset about it. Its not like its going to help Obama at all, I am sure they as big Obama fans, are a bit frustrated at the falling poll numbers of Obama, and the threat that Palin brings to Obama as far as votes go and grabbing a lot of the attention now, Let SNL have their fun, its their way of dealing with the stress.

Do you Notice...   September 15th, 2008 - 12:10 am

Do you notice how SNL and Obama in his interviews, compairing experience, they always bring up her time as mayor of wasila, making it soud as if she was mayor then retired. Guess what, she moved up to Gov of the state of Alaska.

That would be like Me compairing my leadership experience with that of Obama when he was in high school, not my experience now with obama now. It makes no sence, they hope people will not realy pay attention and just hear the highlights ” I have more experience than her “.

I have another fact for everyone out there, that is totaly true but implies something 100% false, just like obama likes to do.

Did you know that everyone that ate Tomatos between 1500 and 1850 died? Its true.

This implies Tomatos were poisonous during that time, or the tomatos had something to do with thier deaths, in reality, no one living during those times would be alive today, and so are now dead.

This is the kind of word play obama likes to use. Tech, true, but totaly false at the same time.

liberalism: mental disorder   September 15th, 2008 - 12:19 am

To Welfare Baby and Miranda, as well as Mike from Austin: we are going to create an entirely new program for you once McCain/Palin are in office. It will be called “Liberal Welfare.” We are going to tax liberals only at 35%, and give your money to the lazy (er, “welfare recipients”). We will also pay down the national debt with your funds. All conservatives will be taxed at a max of 15%. This is TOTALLY fair!!!

chuck   September 15th, 2008 - 12:39 am

Tina Faye is from a distance a dead ringer. Her voice is right on also. The obvious bias of the media is out there for everyone to see. I was thinking Obama, but I have done some research on line, away from the main stream media. I could never, ever vote for Obama now that I know more about him. Where are the people in his past that can testify about his “community organizing” or his time at Harvard? Does he have no friends or just people he used as ladder rungs? He was a Saul Alinski organizer. When that comes out in Oct. Obama is done.

Miranda   September 15th, 2008 - 12:42 am

Rather than watching the polls “dswilli” lets watch the debates, that will say alot about McCain and Palin. Oh, and you “real Americans” elected a “rugged” individual for two terms, where did that get us?? I would also love to hear where you found the “fact” that Obama’s core supporters are “unemployed welfare recipients.” Back your facts before you start “speaking through your a$$.”

Matt in Austin   September 15th, 2008 - 12:59 am

Miranda, I applaud you for having bettered yourself and that you are helping others to do so. That’s what we all should do. Government shouldn’t do it for us or force anyone to do it for anyone else. There’s a big difference between what you’ve done and what people are voting for government to do.

Fey did an amazing impression. I hope future sketches will incorporate her humor with at least some level of respect for Gov. Palin.

chuck   September 15th, 2008 - 1:00 am

By the way. The “I can see Russia from my house” along with most of the other problem areas in the interview, are pieces taken out of context. You can go read the transcript of the entire interview. They cut out most of her answers. The second time they showed it they cut out a bunch of Charlie Glibsons boorish behavior that was being complained about. ABC needs to play the entire interview, uncut. If they refuse, then their bias is bordering on criminal (though not as bad as Dan Rather who should be in jail). The media bias is back firing, as Americans are finally catching on that the media is mostly democrat.

Mike   September 15th, 2008 - 1:14 am

Look look! Another left wing socialist moonbat hollywood moron is making fun of a Republican! WOW!!! We haven’t seen that before! I’m enjoying this election cycle. The hate and intolerance being shown by the people of “tolerance and diversity” is pretty amusing (thought pathetic and sad.) Keep going guys, you’re pissing off the conservative majority in America more and more each day. This socialist demoncrat candidate and his merry band of moronic O-bots won’t be laughing too hard on Election Day.

welfare baby   September 15th, 2008 - 1:17 am

i have already given enough to america and i am disgusted. as soon as mcbush/bimbo is elected i am applying to the va for a 100% disability, thats $2700 a month, and then i will apply for social security disability, $900 a month, then i plan to move out of america and let the repubs support me. and while i am gone i will also rent my palm beach condo for around $1000-1200 a month. after that i should be able to live pretty good on your dime.

america is going to be such a great xtian nation with mcsame/airhead in charge.

rich   September 15th, 2008 - 1:27 am

I’m a person of faith and I’m appalled at the utter stupidity of my fellow Christians. It’s enough to make one not believe anymore.

Michael   September 15th, 2008 - 1:28 am

I am voting for McCain in the presidential election and the only VP pick that would have made me chage that vote would have been Hillary Clinton or Mike Huckabee. Having said that, this was hilarious. Thats one of the things I think seperates conservatives from liberals. We can take a joke. Also we don’t have nagging doubts about ourselves and ideas (in genral) that make us get our undies in a bunch everytime somone says somthing against us. Plus the savaged Hillary and thats always a good thing lol.

Gringo   September 15th, 2008 - 1:39 am

I stand corrected Miranda, now go back to the German cat house you crawled out of.

Shooting Fish In A Barrel   September 15th, 2008 - 2:19 am

Very sterotypical – don’t you think? And not a bit of relevancy!

MoonbatBane   September 15th, 2008 - 2:22 am

People are taking SNL WAY too seriously. I’m a McCain/Palin supporter, but I found the SNL skits to be hillarious! So did Gov. Palin, BTW (numerous reports). Maybe that’s the diff between real people and donk elitists/sychophants: we can laugh at ourselves…

jim   September 15th, 2008 - 2:43 am

That was so funny. Tina Fey is guaranteed a job for the next 12 to 16 years.

Are You SURE....   September 15th, 2008 - 3:24 am

Are you SURE that wasn’t Sarah Palin PRETENDING to be TINA FEY?????

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

We’ve been waiting for this skit ever since we heard that McPain chose Palin…

An absolute riot!!!

TINA FEY for PRESIDENT!!!!!

Adam   September 15th, 2008 - 3:35 am

This is the most ridiculous chain of comments I have ever seen. Ever. There seems only to be a few level headed people commenting on this website. I’ll give you an example of two statements.

Steve F says: “What would you expect from SNL ALL a bunch of druggers/welfare dependent dorks! Of course they support Obama because he’ll take from the WORKERS and give to the lazy non workers.”

Ralph says: “Liberalism is a mental disorder.”

and

Micheal says: “I am voting for McCain in the presidential election and the only VP pick that would have made me chage that vote would have been Hillary Clinton or Mike Huckabee. Having said that, this was hilarious. Thats one of the things I think seperates conservatives from liberals. We can take a joke.”

Okay, so clearly here in segments only 3 posts, which I find are representative of most of the comments here, we have not only contradictions, but things that are clearly not true.

Firstly, to Micheal’s comment, it is obvious that most of the republicans posting on this board cannot take a joke (and usually I find SNL’s humour to be too obvious and annoying) so that makes your point moot.

In my experience, the main and often only thing that seperates liberals from conservatives is a different political view.

Okay so Raplh…okay that is an absolutley foul thing to say. Just because someone doesn’t see the world exactly like you, doesn’t mean that they have ‘a mental disorder’. If someone doesn’t like the same types of film as you, do you call them ‘retarded’. Because the truth is, there is no right way to run a government. There are always problems, but always some benefits. It was Winston Churchill that said “Democracy is the worst form of government, after all the other forms of government”.

And I think Steve F is trying to say something about how the hollywood elite always has a liberal bias, unlike Fox News, who are Fair AND Balanced. Wow. Who knew they could do both at the same time. Face it folks, all media has a bias, some worse than others, and all you have is a duty to listen carefully to both sides of the argument and try to understand what both sides are trying to say.

If you don’t do that, you do not deserve to vote in the election.

BTW, this is not me saying that all republicans are stupid and all liberals are great. The world doesn’t work that way. All I’m trying to do is open people’s eyes to some of the shocking and ridiculous things said on these comments.

An interesting, well-written and well-thought-out article by a doctor, concerning the Palin Pregnancy Debacle(s)…

The dipiction of Shillary was right on but they were making fun of Sarah Palin. That’s not right, they are sexist liberals.

The Republicans are the party of Women and Minorities, we ended slavery and gave women the vote and everything, the Dimocrats are the party of morons. If there wasn’t so many Morons in this country, they wouldn’t have so many people identifying themselves as Democrats.

Sarah Palin is the most Beuatiful woman is Alaska. She would have won 1st Place in the Beauty contest but she refused to sleep with the Judges like the winners have to. She held on to her virtue and became a role model for all young women everywhere.

John McCain is a War Hero. He was a POW but he would not break. Obamination was a crack smoking community thug who is a elitist.

I’m voting for McCain-Palin. But I found the skit funny and couldn’t help but laugh. In a recent poll almost no Americans realize we “border” on Russia and Eskimos are allowed to travel back and forth between American islands and Russian Islands. From some of the comments on this directed at Gov. Palin it is apparent the most loudmouthed liberals are also the most ignorant of American geography.

A dead-on impersonation of Gov. Palin; the accent and the timing were perfect. They got in a few digs on Hillary Clinton’s ambition.

IMHO Hilary’s mistake was to overstate her qualifications. When she talks about “35 years of public service”, that includes Bill’s years as governor of Arkansas, when she was in private law practice, investing in cattle futures, and serving on the Board of Directors of Wal-Mart. Sarah’s “13 years in public office” are documented.

I’m sure Hillary doesn’t appreciate the comparison: beautiful-harpy, milf-shrew.

Robert Byrd of WVa has more experience than all of these creeps rolled together. He should be president. Or how about Donald Trump who has the executive experience or Bill Gates who runs a empire?

But if you want the person who has the most direct experience in the job of being President, it is a tie beween Bill Clinton and George W Bush. Bush’s experience is more recent, so he should get the nod.

Dick Cheney has two terms of being vice president, so he gets my vote there. Plus, he was president of a oil company, so he has more executive experience than Sarah the Hockey Mom and Governor or Obama the community hoodlum, who has zero, joe biden, who has zero, or even John McCain who at least was a officer in the Navy. Plus, Cheney was Seceratary of Defense so he knows how to run the military.

These pikers look like 4H kids trying to run a real farm or a girl scout cookie seller trying to unload realestate. Put Bush back in office. He voted with McCain 100% in the last year, so he can do just as good a job except he has more experience. Write him in. What can they do to you, it’s a free country.

maybe some day these liberals will grow up, then they will be conservatives. IF they dont grown up this i hope they like socalism under obama. i have never seen such childish rant against a decent person such as Sarah Palin. Sure, you may disagree with her but to call her degrading names and derogitory terms only shows the inmaturity of your thinking.

Jason Trommetter   September 15th, 2008 - 11:54 am

I’m a big fan of Sarah Palin, but I thought this skit was pretty funny. I laughed all the way through it.

If these comments portray the maturity level of the United States, I’m really sad. It’s a television show, a humorous parody that was created so we could all have a few laughs. Second, get your facts straight. Read UNBIASED articles, detect rhetoric and be voter. If you can’t make an informed statement, don’t make one at all because it makes you sound ignorant and ridiculous. Both parties say stupid things, things that are nonsensical and absurd. In addition, just because there is a political spectrum doesn’t mean you have to be at one end or the other. Some people are more religious, environmentally concerned, and/or economically inclined than others. Just because one is a liberal or a republican doesn’t mean that they have to be far right or far left. Pay attention to your Candidates, their policies, their actions and what you want for your future. What SNL does is not important and will not effect the vote if every person makes an informed decision come November.

G.C.Fordham   September 20th, 2008 - 9:31 pm

A quick question. Are liberals socialists or are they communists because it seems like all you republicans are ignorant. Communism and Socialism are NOT the same things…but if you were well informed, you would know that wouldn’t you? Why don’t you stick to your party rather than bashing the democrats. Does it make your party stronger? Will calling Obama a Muslim make your the polls stronger? Will calling us scum make you one step closer to the presidency? I really don’t think so. What happened to those good old family values, the ones your mother taught you, like if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it?

Making fun of democrats will only make them angry and fight harder to beat your hypocritical approach. You speak about keeping everything in the constitution the same, well I’ll play the same game. I want the first amendment to stay the same. The first amendment says we get the “The freedom of speech, religion, press, and assembly”, so Dan Rather, speak your mind, Muslims and Jews, speak your mind. The first amendment doesn’t only apply to Republicans, so don’t tell us what we have to say is trash, unworthy, and no good.

Dear The Left,
Do you even have the foresight to realized just how very bad you have lost this Presidential Election? You’ve chosen as your candidate the very reason why you lose on a regular basis. America is not nearly as stupid and short sighted as you wish it to be. That’s why we sided with Cival Rights during the 60’s and Reagan’s “Tear down this wall” philosophy during the 80’s. We were, unfortunately, feeling guilty during the 90’s which explains the sucess of Hillary’s beotch. But we pulled our heads out of our fourth point of contact when we elected “W”. (That’s what you like to call the President and that’s what makes it so funny when you whine about Obama’s middle name being used! Your such pathetic losers! What goes around, comes around!) So now, you think, and very regularly say, if we don’t vote for the change monkey we are racist. Don’t be surprised when the hispanic vote doesn’t go your way either. Let’s face it. The left can’t even live up to their own pathetic expectations!
