This crime reminds me of when I was 13 yrs old and sexually assaulted by a 13 yr old black classmate on the school bus while the black bus driver did nothing.

I am a white female. If the victim were white you probably wouldn’t have heard about it at all.

That kind of horror happens in front of the other passengers and only ONE person calls the police? Even when the attacker was gone no one stopped to help. It’s disgusting. My heart goes out to the victim and his mom.

I believe this whole alleged incident was staged in order to get a lawsuit for inadequate security on SEPTA’s part.
They appeared to have had the incident timed where there were no Septa Police deliberately.

Me, almost every fight or other altercation I’ve been involved in has been on behalf of another – of course I’m a Conservative, raised Roman-Catholic, etc., so maybe that helps?

I can’t believe that the scum on the train didn’t help the victim (who had a young child with him, even!). I can’t believe that some of the scum on the train actually STOLE his cell phone while he was being victimized and re-sold it.

I can tell you that out here in the “Wild West”, somebody would’ve shot that perpetrator D-E-A-D without hesitation. Out here, we still have gun rights. Out here, you don’t need any kind of special permit to pack openly, and people DO. To all the cowards that huddled in fear — come out West for a few lessons in helping others and defending yourselves.
