By the way, if you need proof of what I was talking about in my previous post, read the Washington Compost commentary under the Related Links of this video.
Thanks Amy and Roxanne. Got that drinking problem under control yet?

Rush LimpBalls   September 5th, 2008 - 12:29 pm

I just saw where Oprah (the racist) will not have Palin on her show UNTIL AFTER the election.

Let us Real White and Bright people show these Chicago pimps that still being the majority race at 67% has the advantage of being able to elect someone that looks and thinks like us!!!

p.s. Obama was on her show TWICE!!!

Moses   September 5th, 2008 - 2:07 pm

Way to go “First Dude”! Job well done! This guy rocks and would be awesome in the White House. As opposed to Hillary’s hubby who would have been the “First Dud”! Can’t wait to see some Caribou horns on the front of the Vice President’s home!!! LOL

Steve is a Lib Moron   September 5th, 2008 - 3:48 pm

Steve,

Sarah didn’t make a “brand” you idiot, that is who she is, a true Christian who can shoot Moose, run a city, win a beauty contest, drive the Bad Oil Companies out of Alaska and get the Good Oil Companies to dril more, command the Alaskan National Guard to keep the Russions from invading, raise 5 children, marry a hunk, fight corruption, be a sportscastor, go to college, hand the libs their head on a platter, be vice president, be president, give a speach, play hockey and much much more

What can you and the rest of you libtard “friends” do? Take a course in marketing? Oh, wow, you are so eleitis you don’t even know how to push a cart down the aisle and pick out the things you need and take them to the check out stand. You need to take a course in how to stop being a moron. Betcha you flunk it

Bill Chicago   September 5th, 2008 - 4:15 pm

Steve,
A very well reasoned observation. Obama’s “Sell By” date has long past. If you look at the latest Rasmussen numbers, canned Obama apparently has a rather short shelf-life.

Based on the current Rasmussen polling, which in my opinion has been far more accurate in reflecting the pulse of the body politic, Palin mutates the argument the Obama camp took out out the Walter Mondale playbook to exploit McCain’s age. If they say, “Hey, he will just die in office (God forbid) so why vote for him?” You have Sarah Palin, who is more popular than either Obama or McCain. Even in death, McCain still wins.

True, political popularity can be as fluid as water, but clearly she touches a nerve in people to the greatest extent since Reagan. I think her political freshness will last a long, long time.

I don’t know how old you are, and you may already know this, but one of my favorite moments in politics was the final Reagan-Mondale Debate. I went to my local bar, which was hard-core Democrat, to watch the debate wearing my Reagan shirt, Reagan hat and my non-Reagan Colt .357. Mondale was looking at Reagan pulling in North Korean like poll numbers, so all he had to throw at Reagan was his age. Before he even had the chance, Reagan said:

“I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent’s youth and inexperience,”.

Mondale had the look of a man who had just had the blade of chainsaw go through his knees.

God, how I love that moment.

Al   September 5th, 2008 - 4:58 pm

It looks like Todd Palin belongs to the Alaskan Independence Party, which wants to secede from the rest of the country.

And his wife cordially welcomed its delegates to their recent convention.

I guess the first thing to go for these traitors would be the Pledge of Allegiance.

Poor ol’ stupid John McCain.

When he fought for his country in that cell in North Vietnam, it was a country Todd and his scumbag friends didn’t want any part of whatsoever.

Tran Van Dhong   September 5th, 2008 - 5:32 pm

John McCain let me perform Dirty Sanchez on him in exchange for rice cake.

He like my Sanchez cake, too!

D-Man   September 5th, 2008 - 6:09 pm

This Palin family is great to see. Not a double talking lawyer like Joe “the lobbyists best friend” Bidet, not a liar with an America hating spouse lika zerObama, not a bufoon like John Kerry, not a cheater like John Edwards, not a blow hard lightweight like Al Gore. This is refreshing to see, and a pleasure to watch. See you in the Whitehouse, Mrs. Vice President.

Bill Chicago   September 5th, 2008 - 7:23 pm

I can see why the Democrats and their running dog lackeys in the media hate the Palin family so much. Here is a working class guy, an avid sportsman, father and husband that just wants to live his life his way, and screw you if you don’t like it.

These are the kind of people the elitist press and Democratic Party bosses claim to speak for and defend, but make sneering comments about in private. Lenin, when asked about his reasoning behind the mass executions of the RSD’s and Anarchists said, ” Socialism demands conformity”.

So do the Democrats. This is no party for individualists. The media has nothing but contempt for anyone who doesn’t model their thinking on what they read in the Editorial Pages of the NYT. If you don’t have a copy of the current New Yorker on your coffee table and past issues in your bathroom, then you are nothing but a common peasant, barely evolved from Neolithic Man.

If you think this is just some groundless, vitriolic rant, you had better think again. McCain said, and rightly so, that the Republicans had lost touch with the American people. Well, the Democrats are not just out of touch, they are in an entirely different self-promoting, self-enriching, galaxy. We are running out of graveyard space for bullet-riddled 17 year old kids, while Daley and his Ward Heelers drive around in bullet-proof cars, and cut up to their summer homes on Mackinaw to escape the common Riff-Raff that keeps them in office. They do it by feeding them a steady diet of false hope and broken promises.

Now, out of this swamp of indifference and corruption rises Obama. The Democratic Party’s Champion, the Media’s Ivy-League Darling.

There’s nothing left to be said.

ronda   September 5th, 2008 - 8:08 pm

WOW! All I can say is how refreshing it is to have the Palin family in the spotlight!! They are truely what America stands for..hard working, loving, great people! Sarah just wants to make her country a better place for her kids and I say THANK YOU AND BRING IT ON!!! I
watch out dems her come McCain/Palin!!!!

Dave J   September 5th, 2008 - 9:20 pm

this is a totally great man, he should be on the ticket instead of McCaine. McCaine is a liberal mostly but I am glad the forced him to pick Governer Pallin, she will keep him in line. Anyone who cna keep 5 children in line can keep a liberal in line you betcha. Tod could be Secratary of Defense or Secratary of State where he could tell the Muzzies and the Commies to shove it.

Not like Obama who was only a community organizer and we know what that means, it means the scum of the earth, people who go around bribing welfare mothers to have more children to get more welfare money ripped from the hands of hardworking taxpayers.

The libs are elitest morons they go to these fancy schools whose maine purpose is to keep the good people out and act superior.

Cheers!   September 5th, 2008 - 10:05 pm

I bet this wasn’t the first time in his adult life that he’s been proud of his country.
I raise my beer to Todd Palin…the luckiest man in America.

Community Organizer in Chief Obama, like Bullwinkle the Moose, thought he was gonna pull a presidency out of his hat…then up popped Sarah Palin, the moose hunter. LMAO!

steve   September 5th, 2008 - 10:09 pm

David Axelrod made Obama using the media. He made a sellable brand and the media sold it well. But there is one problem when you are made by the media. That is when the next celebrity comes along that hurts your brand the media will destroy you too. This is why Obama will lose the election. His brand name is being replaced by a better looking, seeker, more sizzling brand. All you have to do is take a course on marketing and you will know why Obama is on very unstable ground.

Steve is a Lib Moron   September 5th, 2008 - 10:35 pm

steve September 5th, 2008 – 10:09 pm

“David Axelrod made Obama using the media. … His brand name is being replaced by a better looking, seeker, more sizzling brand. ”

Steve, you moron, Palin isn’t a product of marketing, a brand, she is the RREAL THING unlike you and your liberal spewers who can’t stand success so all you can do is tear down, tear down tear down and hat, well keep drinking the Liberal “marketing” koolaid until it runs out of your Obama size ears down into your shoes and floats you away down the sewer where you will be happy among your ilk.

steve   September 5th, 2008 - 10:47 pm

Dude I’m totally supporting you. The difference between Obama and Sarah is that David Axelrod made the Obama brand and Sarah made her own brand. Great for her – and she is freaking amazing – it is a damn amazing real, real brand. God you are stupid.

CREED   September 5th, 2008 - 10:55 pm

Sarah Palin can bring home the bacon AND fry it up in a pan!

Tran Van Dhong   September 6th, 2008 - 12:34 am

Q. What has yellow teeth and can eat rice off the floor?

A. John McCain.

Hey, did you know John McCain was a POW?

Sheera   September 6th, 2008 - 12:38 am

I’m a conservative and I did something today I have never done before.
I mailed a check to the RNC.

I for one do not believe Palin is going to get the Hillary voters. She is, however, getting a lot of soccer mom votes.

Poor stupid John McCain.

When he fought for his country in that POW camp, it was for a country Todd and his friends in the Alaskan Independence Party wanted no part of whatsoever.

What'sInAName?   September 6th, 2008 - 1:16 am

Hey Al,
Your mother must have known how stupid you were going to be so she gave a name you could spell. Now that’s planning.
And “Tran Von Dhong”: with a name like that I bet it was your daddy that kept McCain cooped up for those few fun-filled years. Sorry he ate all your rice. You’ll get over it. Now back to work…the slurpy machine is fouled up again!

Miami Mike   September 6th, 2008 - 1:19 am

Oprah should have Todd Palin on her show to talk about what it’s like to be “First Dude” of Alaska and the husband of a candidate during a national election. That would be a goodwill gesture toward those who are interested in Sarah Palin but would still be relatively non-political. She won’t do it, of course.

Doomsday4DesperateDems   September 6th, 2008 - 9:36 pm

I can see it now. The dems will be crying foul re “you stole the election”(boohoo, boohoo BHO) and you lied about our canidate. The excuses will be endless and unrelenting. And let’s not forget the catch all, “your racists”. All I can say is if you stop giving us ammunition (eg the Rev (not) Wright, Father (phlegm) Pflager, Willian (the terrorist) Ayers and his disgusting wife,ACORN (grievence mongers) Frank (his communist mentor) from Hawaii and so on. Oh I know “that’s guilt by association”. All I can say about that is- exactly! You will never see John McCain having to denounce this assorted type of scum because he does not associate with the likes of these pieces of work!

Gregory Scott   September 7th, 2008 - 5:38 am

Tran Van Dhong,

I don’t assume you are Vietnamese. I assume you are a leftist American whose knickers are in a bit of a twist at the moment. You will lose the election. My only problem is that you will not be tortured for a few years and then thrown to the dogs. It is beyond despicable to mock someone who fought for your freedom. You ought to be tried for a hate crime.

Doomsday4DesperateDems   September 7th, 2008 - 5:49 am

Hooray POTUS and VPOTUS McCain and Palin. I can see it now. The dems will be crying foul re “you stole the election”(boohoo, boohoo BHO) and you lied about our canidate.
