Keith is an anti-american FAG WHIMP, PERIOD.

dcainecalhoun   September 5th, 2008 - 1:09 am

Keith, it wasnt a movie, neither did it glorify that fateful day in the very least.

It reflected our RESPONSE, UNITY, AND THE INDOMINABLE SPIRIT OF WE, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE STANDING TOGETHER after enduring one of the greatest catastrophic events in our history.

It’s a shame you couldnt see past yourself and move forward with all your fellow Americans that are living life to their fullest.

It is a far better way to honor their money than to sit behind a primetime camera and whither into yourself.

What a shame.

dcainecalhoun   September 5th, 2008 - 1:36 am

SoCal,

Relax. Not everyone who posts on here with Dem names or titles are Dems, and outrageously cynical statements like these are jabs at the ridiculous reactions on display, for example, by none other than Mr. Olbermann.

SoCal Patriot   September 5th, 2008 - 1:39 am

“Not everyone who posts on here with Dem names or titles are Dems”
Thank you for stating the obvious. I didn’t buy his retarded shtick either, it’s just that fake democrats are just as stupid as the real ones…

“these are jabs at the ridiculous reactions on display”
That didn’t make it less retarded.

beverly   September 5th, 2008 - 1:42 am

oh jeeeez! what an absolute pompous ass. he’s so full of himself he actually thinks people take him seriously! it’s pathetic ….so many people laugh at him behind his back, you’d think someone at msnbc would take him aside and tell him. but then, maybe not. perhaps some of them like the fact he’s being laughed at.

NowayNohowNomccain   September 5th, 2008 - 2:41 am

It’s obvious the RNC is playing the fear card to the highest degree. We can honor our fallen Americans without using horrific images to stir up painful, hurtful memories rooted in fear and intended only to boost Mccain’s claim of strength against terrorist and his continued cadence of Obama’s perceived weakness. I saw where they were going and I turned the TV off. It is unbelievable that they used 911 and the deaths of our citizens as a campaign ploy. Keith, I’m glad you called it. I wish the other networks would call them out for all of the misinformation that’s being swallowed up by so many Americans that don’t care about being mislead or lied to.

SoCal Patriot   September 5th, 2008 - 2:55 am

“If that’s the best imitation of a Democrat you can do, keep your day job. Or get one.”

If he has to pretend to be a democrat at all…

SoCal Patriot   September 5th, 2008 - 4:09 am

“I’m not running for president because I think I’m blessed with such personal greatness that history has anointed me to save our country in its hour of need. My country saved me. My country saved me, and I cannot forget it. And I will fight for her for as long as I draw breath, so help me God. If you find faults with our country, make it a better one. If you’re disappointed with the mistakes of government, join its ranks and work to correct them. Enlist in our Armed Forces. Become a teacher. Enter the ministry. Run for public office. Feed a hungry child. Teach an illiterate adult to read. Comfort the afflicted. Defend the rights of the oppressed. Our country will be the better, and you will be the happier. Because nothing brings greater happiness in life than to serve a cause greater than yourself.

I’m going to fight for my cause every day as your President. I’m going to fight to make sure every American has every reason to thank God, as I thank Him: that I’m an American, a proud citizen of the greatest country on earth, and with hard work, strong faith and a little courage, great things are always within our reach. Fight with me. Fight with me.

Fight for what’s right for our country.

Fight for the ideals and character of a free people.

Fight for our children’s future. Fight for justice and opportunity for all.

Stand up to defend our country from its enemies.

Stand up for each other; for beautiful, blessed, bountiful America.

Stand up, stand up, stand up and fight. Nothing is inevitable here. We’re Americans, and we never give up. We never quit. We never hide from history. We make history.”

Jeddy   September 5th, 2008 - 6:11 am

This man has gone COMPLETELY off the reservation. He won’t even let us remember 9-11, for fear it will raise national pride. He truly is despicable. He wins my vote for the biggest d-bag on the planet.

ronski   September 5th, 2008 - 8:48 am

Also an arrogant, pinhead liberal blowhard. I know, I know, I’m being far too nice.

SoCal Patriot   September 5th, 2008 - 8:55 am

Yet more proof that the liberals must be defeated and why they can’t be trusted with national security. They’re completely out of touch with the threats we face…

Democratsaresmart   September 5th, 2008 - 9:14 am

Oh my gosh…oh my gosh. Keith, I feel so bad for you. Oh my gosh..

All you haters! You Republikan haters!!! Leave Keith alone!!!

Haters!

He needs to spend some time in his secret place before he can continue broadcasting! Besides, he was the only one who lost anybody on 911!

Let him have his moment to cry, like a man!

Haters!!!

SoCal Patriot   September 5th, 2008 - 9:19 am

“Besides, he was the only one who lost anybody on 911!”

You don’t think anyone is buying your retarded shtick, do you or is that was passes for clever on your short yellow bus?

steve   September 5th, 2008 - 9:19 am

God, what a loser. If he’s still all broken up about it, I’m sure his superman Obama can fly into space, and turn back time by spinning around the earth fast enough to reverse its rotation.

Pray to Obama, Keith! He can turn your liberal, terrorist sympathizing frown upside down!

kid   September 5th, 2008 - 9:37 am

KO is such a phony, and whether he’s berating Bush, Hillary or whoever, it’s very transparent. A schtick, as one of the others noted. He’s a terrific barometer of how Republicans are doing. Maddow and KO are besides themselves w/ the Palin pick. And that’s good news for McCain.

dcainecalhoun   September 5th, 2008 - 9:37 am

SoCal,

I think that was the whole point.

SoCal Patriot   September 5th, 2008 - 9:44 am

“I think that was the whole point.”

It’s amazing what passes for clever on the short yellow bus. All he proved was that he’s an idiot too. His post says more about him than oberman, who’s also retarded…

El Capitan   September 5th, 2008 - 9:56 am

Someone please take that idiot off the air. He can hide from history by himself.

“We never hide from history. We make history.”
-John McCain

daisy mae   September 5th, 2008 - 9:59 am

All you have to do is ask Keith what his ratings were? No further comment. This biased hack, Chris tingle down my leg Matthews, Andrea Pockmark Mitchell, Howard “Ms Doubtfire” Fineman, Jonathan Bozo Alter, and most of all the lezbo Maddow are just having their Obama SUCKFEST every day and thats who will support him.

T.M. Whitworth   September 5th, 2008 - 10:02 am

NBC and their flying monkeys do not want us to recall any attacks because to do so would remind us that America has dangerous plotters still out there waiting to destroy us. No Dems ever want to defend America, they just want to smoke dope and pass laws that up their power and down our lives.

claspur   September 5th, 2008 - 10:28 am

Never watch this clown on MSDNC.<(heard that 2 days ago…)

He’s a mess…no wonder they don’t have ratings of any mention.
Ingraham, yesterday this goofus makes 5 mill. a year there…amazeing…*sigh

AnonymousMax   September 5th, 2008 - 10:35 am

Up next on PMSNBC, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews will argue who is more in love with Obama and which one of them Obama is more likely to return the love to.

Seriously though, anyone with half a brain should now be scared, really scared, the Dems and the lib leftys in the media are giving us a glimpse of what life will be like when they return to power and anyone stands in their way.

The only thing the left has left is lies and hate.Poor little keith really needs to up his meds before he bursts into spontaneous human combustion live on air…not that that would be a bad thing.

tduck   September 5th, 2008 - 10:58 am

… 1st , I doubt Keith really has any friends .
… 2nd , 9/11 videos should be shown daily to remind the American people of the IslamicNazis.
… 3rd , Obermann is an fool and should accept the fact , that he will never host ” Meet the Press “.

… neither will that little bitcha , chrissy matthews.

bulktrash   September 5th, 2008 - 11:27 am

Olber always has had a flair for the dramatic. He is an over actor and his pitiful attempt to attack (insert any GOP candidate) was conceived well before last night and he only waited until he had higher than average viewers to release his shameful rouse.

Eagle Eye   September 5th, 2008 - 11:57 am

Keith, you are the weakest link GOODBYE

Rocky   September 5th, 2008 - 12:05 pm

Ken
Since when are you ever offended? I think the point of showing the 9-11 material is so americans will never forget. If we forget it will happen again. I think it should be shown every day.
If Obama is elected we will certainly face those days again.
NEVER FORGET! KEEP AMERICA STRONG!

navy65   September 5th, 2008 - 1:04 pm

Sorry Keith if that made you loose the tingle down your leg. It sends a pain through our heats.

HairTrigger   September 5th, 2008 - 1:17 pm

Olbermann’s “tears” were about as real as Bill Clinton’s at Ron Brown’s funeral.

Hey Olbermann: What about the Katrina videos the news plays — I’m disgusted by that use for political purposes.

Bob, MI   September 5th, 2008 - 1:22 pm

Is this the same Keith Olbermann that exploits 911 at the end of every show? Its been how many days since “mission accomplished and we have lost how many lives in the war”….. that Keith Olberman?????? Maybe HE should apologize to the military families he exploits every night on his “show”.

johnmast   September 5th, 2008 - 1:49 pm

this guy is a mental patient, get him off the air or guy will GE will lose big time

Neal E   September 5th, 2008 - 2:37 pm

JJ   September 5th, 2008 - 4:10 pm

What a screwy windbag how does this Obama ball licker stay on the air

JJ   September 5th, 2008 - 4:21 pm

Can’t wait for Obama to lose the election people like Olbermann
will become even more strange than they are today if that’s possible.
I look forward to seeing him continue to make an absolute fool of himself any time he opens his mouth

demdicks   September 5th, 2008 - 4:23 pm

Olberboob has become a complete caricature of himself. I truly believe the NBC run parent companies of msnbc allow him to go on these rants to EXPOSE his stupidity. How anyone can take him seriously or find him remotely intelligent can probably all fit on a short bus, most of us see the buffoon he truly is, no reading between the lines necessary. As much as I love the NFL I can’t even watch that on NBC because olberboob appears at halftime, and completely ruins my appetite for the game.

demdicks   September 5th, 2008 - 4:32 pm

By the way, olberboob, the point of the GOP showing those videos is due to the fact that YOU WON’T, IDIOT!. Your statement is an admission that you WANT Americans to forget 9/11, that you believe we should move on(.org?) and put it in the past. Allow me to put it succinctly, sir, GO TO HELL you liberal rotgut, it is these videos that should be run in schools as opposed to the algore lies they are forced to consume, every American should be exposed to these videos over and over again until it truly sinks in that this is what the islamofascists want to do, destroy and dominate us. Thanks to true non-liberal patriots, it won’t happen, but this is a clear Illustration why power must be kept out of their slimy hands.

Jamesb   September 5th, 2008 - 7:31 pm

When does MSNBC pull the plug on this moron? They admit that they NO journalistic integrity, this guy inforces that daily. He embodies the core Obama supporter, atleast the upscale upper eastside Manhattan types Obama will no doubt enrich, Gore style, if and when he accends to the heavens and becomes Pres.

m-antony   September 5th, 2008 - 8:06 pm

olbermann, matthews ,&madow a direct reflection of what the democratic party would look like, if enough stupid libs vote them in. obama,Pelosi , &Reid the 3 stooges

Mark Carlton   September 5th, 2008 - 8:09 pm

No news here. Olbermann never was too swift.

AMG   September 5th, 2008 - 8:33 pm

From now on, the GOP needs to consult with Olbermann to make sure they don’t offend his sensibilities. This is so unfair to Keith. What’s with the GOP? Don’t they realize that their platform doesn’t go along with Keith’s? The GOP needs to reevaluate itself if they want to get that all important Keith Olbermann demographic.
Keith, what you said wasn’t just a speech, it was a symphony. You must be proud that our country can produce a man like this.

(Keith you suck and you make me not want to watch football highlights sunday night on your network!)

Lee   September 5th, 2008 - 8:56 pm

STOP THE PRESSES!!!!

I think we’ve just witnessed the PERFORMANCE worthy of an Academy Award for acting! He far exceeds the emoting you get from most actors working today.

TISSUE WORTHY to be sure!!

BRAVO BRAVO Keith!

embarrassed in Texas   September 5th, 2008 - 9:15 pm

All you “Keith-Haters” are so embarrassing!!! He says, straight away that this is ‘his’ opinion and guess what?!?!? he is allowed to have an opinion, if you don’t like to hear it, turn to FOX news, which is designed for idea haters like you.

Mark in TN   September 5th, 2008 - 9:44 pm

Keith, please go back to Sportscenter! Hard news ain’t your bag. Maybe fake news on Comedy Central or a talk show. Leave hard news to the trained (term used very loosely) professionals! I think you’re a funny guy – but you’re unwatchable on cable news.

Nate K   September 5th, 2008 - 9:51 pm

this guy is nuts, i am middle road as far as politics go and this guy just annoys me. He throws softballs to what he likes and throws extra annoying fastballs to people he considers his enemies. How did he ever make it to news(opinion) reporting anyway?

NBarrackC   September 5th, 2008 - 9:59 pm

MSNBC Rocks!

Obama ‘08

lulu   September 5th, 2008 - 10:05 pm

No talent Keithy must have spent much time on his knees at for his job at PMNBC (and I dont mean praying).

navyman   September 5th, 2008 - 10:42 pm

Screw what Keith says. I think they show those images EVERY DAY, along with those of the attack on Pearl Harbor, just to remind folks that there alot of dangerous people in the world that would like to do us harm. Those that say they are offended had better learn to get over it. It happened and not showing these images will not make it go away, it is a part of history. I would like for Gov Palin to invite Keith and Biden to Alaske for a moose hunt.

Watch 911_Everyday   September 5th, 2008 - 11:50 pm

Keith is a left wing,liberal,anti-american,WIMP.

Any American who has any Balls at all could handle viewing this tragedy everyday, and would FIGHT to keep America FREE and GREAT!

BuckeyeDave   September 6th, 2008 - 1:32 am

Olberman’s a mental midget!!! His IQ’s even lower than his ratings!

NorCal Rich   September 6th, 2008 - 5:16 am

Lets see, what were those Friday night numbers again?

FOXNEWS 9.2 MILLION
NBC 8.7 MILLION
ABC: 6.0 MILLION
CBS: 5.3 MILLION
CNN 4.8 MILLION
MSNBC 2.5 MILLION

KO and crew be in dead freakin’ last.

Reality check   September 6th, 2008 - 6:27 pm

Keith is a pompous, self-important blowhard. He’s a cartoon character now. MSNBC has been justifiably labeled as the loony bin of cable.

This ridiculous display of his “painful reminder of 9/11″ shows why no one should ever take his comments seriously. It’s only a matter of time until he implodes on screen and MSNBC will have to give him the boot.

Phillip Lee   September 6th, 2008 - 8:17 pm

Like the attack on Pearl Harbor, 9/11 is forever a part of the American experience. It should not be swept under the rug of feigned sensibilities, especially when the threat of another attack is imminent. We ought to be always reminded of this reality by both political parties, and all of the media – lest we hear Keith Olberman screaming, “Why didn’t they connect the dots?”
