Bill,
Please stop whining and playing the victim card.
This is what happens when you introduce an unknown into the mix less than three months before the election. There are risks and rewards.
After eight years of Bush, America has become much less importance on the world stage. Let’s just hope China can at least help slow down the pace of our decline and complete bankruptcy, regardless of who becomes president, China holds our fate in its hands.

Are we about to be attacked my Flesh-Eating Space Monkeys too?
NickSeptember 4th, 2008 - 9:29 pm
Bill,
What fun would it be if we Demoncrats didn’t shake things up, too? I think most of the criticism is being driven by bloggers. And
bloggers are turning out to be more of a
force driving media now. Keep in
mind most of us have never heard of Palin
before. People have had quite a long time now
to know and love or hate Obama. So the time to attack her has become compacted. Because they all get attacked. Now there’s only less than three months to do it.
But I also think Murdoch has called off the attacks of Obama on Fox. CNN has certainly become brutal against conservatives lately. I tend to think elections are fixed these days. I don’t think
there is a big difference between either side once they get in. If McCain get’s in maybe we’ll be in three wars, if Obama gets in maybe only two wars.
America is pretty conservative.
Obama can’t go too far left or our own government
will pull back on the secret service detail – wouldn’t be the first time…

Has the media vetted Obama in the same manner? How many stories came from the “mainstream” media about AYERS/OBAMA connection? Black liberation/Obama? Syrian Rezco/Obama? Black power/Obama? Hate America/Obama? Typical Whites/Obama? Those are all questions that need to be asked and answered. Has the tabloid trash printed the stories of Obama and his drug abuse, how about the unreported affair he had? Or the murdered souls he proudly takes credit for. Sarah will be just fine. The American people can now see just how un-news worthy the media has become. They are nothing more than a propaganda machine for the radical left, and to insure and secure this relationship “they” 9% approval Nancy wants to impose the “Fairness Doctrine”.
steveSeptember 5th, 2008 - 12:36 am
Frankly I don’t care about the sexism charges, Americans will look at it themselves. Big deal.
But from a game point of view for Hillary, I see some of her supporters playing the sexism card for Palin right now. Behind the scenes Hillary is trying to take down Obama, and she has to if she ever wants to be Prez. If Obama wins, likely he will win 2 terms, unless there is total disaster and within 8 years the Clintons would have lost tonnes of power in Dem party. So her best bet is to try and knock out Obama and run against McCain in 4. But it will be very, very difficult as Axelrod knows politics like no other.
Why do you keep posting your self-serving website links in these threads? There does not seem to be any content on your site other than ads for REPUB junk to buy.
EileenSeptember 5th, 2008 - 12:56 am
You know I used to watch Network news every night. Mostly to see Tom Brokaw who I appreciated for his reverance and respect of the WWII veterans and others. When he left, I tried Brian Williams and then NBC was sliding to the left. Tried ABC again with Charlie Gibson – same thing. Never got into Katie Couric and the news but I have heard the same rumors about CBS.
I used to watch CNN and still do from time to time to get up-to-date news on the half hour. Also, am a big fan of Glen Beck – but that is about it. I get my news from the net sites and Fox News.
The main stream media and press have used sexism against Hillary and now they are doing it with Governor Palin. Women reporters are the worst. Trying to keep their phony baloney jobs by attacking another woman who is fighting for them in the end. For their right to work and have children, to get equal pay for equal work, etc.
Governor Palin has been compared to Hillary – they say she is no Hillary – you got that right – she is more – so much more than that. Just watch her in the next couple of months, and then watch as her and President Elect McCain take over the Presidency in January of 2009. It will be the start of something big! There will be change and reform in the government and a caring about the American people and what we are going through.
We have the “Maverick” and the “Reformer” how can you lose when this is what we need in our country today!
Bill ChicagoSeptember 5th, 2008 - 1:10 am
What? You expect these slimeballs to admit to their bias? Where was all this scrutiny on Obama? Why did we find out what we know now in dribbles like a leaky faucet, while Palin, and her family, faced a firehose?
Give me a couple of flares, a wire coat hanger, a pair of pliers and about fifteen minutes, and I’ll get the truth out of them.
Bill ChicagoSeptember 5th, 2008 - 2:20 am
Nick-
So you are going to claim Obama faced the same level of “vetting” process by the media that Palin has?
Everybody in this town knew about Obama’s dirty deals with Rezko. I’d go to Cleveland and they’d be talking about that fresh faced guy from Illinois running for President, and I mentioned Rezko, they had no idea what I was talking about. I know more, and so do a lot of people, I just can’t prove it. But unlike the media, I’m not about to throw around something I’ve heard without being able to prove it.
So don’t tell me I’m playing the “victim”. The only victims here are the well-meaning but irrationally over-emotional suckers that support this guy, and think he has their best interests at heart.

i would prefer the ACLU to self-destruct.
Namaste…i llok at our country and see a lot that is wrong too(corporate favors to the extreme, and hundreds of other critical issues too). i do not trust the Chicago political machine and the far left to do the right thing though.

I’ve been following this nutjob that’s posting the same information degrading Sarah and what ‘real republican operatives’ think about her with my own information about Obama and every single one of my posts have been deleted, yet his remain.
Who says the MSM’s not biased?
NamasteSeptember 5th, 2008 - 4:18 am
What is wrong with you people? Are you all mad? Our country is in deep trouble because of a presidency which thumbed its nose at the middle class and the poor and has only lifted its sorry head to rear up again because an election is in the wind.
What in heaven’s name does being a “maverick” or a “reformer” have to do with the trouble we are in.
Get over it people. Stop whining and get on with the business of talking about the real issues and quite stalling around claiming sexism and all that nonsense. And let’s have a decent campaign without all the posturing and name calling.
Let’s see what all the huffing and puffing is about. I believe that we are going to see something on this nation’s current watch which will frighten all of us–the tearing apart of people’s good name and reputation because of a nice woman from Alaska who does not have the good sense to know when she is being had! Sarah, you are being used by the McCain campaign and so is your whole family.
