MSNBC: Gov. Sarah Palin has a strong anti-abortion record, and her selection was praised warmly by social conservatives whose support McCain needs to prevail in the campaign for the White House.
Sarah Palin, commander of Alaska’s Nartional Guard, Air Guard, Gov, Mother, Wife, NRA Life Member, hunter, fisherman-lady, frankly hot looking adult woman, a middle class made good house wife, working mom, PTA, Mayor, Ethics Champion… Democrats eat your hearts out. All you have is splean and bile left. The American Dream is still alive and well! Sarah Palin is a living example! Where else can daddy’s little girl grow up an become the next Vice President of these United States of America.
Ray CurtisAugust 29th, 2008 - 6:31 pm
I am really pumped up about this choice. McCain got it absolutely right. He beat the Democraps at everything they ’say they are going to do’, as far as diversity and fair play.
The last comment from “92% . . .” is typical of a frustrated lib, of course, what other kind is there ? Don’t you get it, this woman chose LIFE for her growing baby, regardless that he has Downs. And it sounds like she is REALLY upset that she has a large family and happens to be an attractive, smart woman who can handle herself with grace and dignity. What a great choice!
Obama will lose in a McGovern-type landslide, guaranteed !
BrianAugust 29th, 2008 - 6:53 pm
Plus she looks presidential, ready to step in and run the country should McCain, God-forbid, have a stroke or or another freak out or worse.
I can see her face on Mt Rushmore already.
CharlieAugust 29th, 2008 - 7:06 pm
So you Dems are already so desperate you are attacking her children? I thought you all were pro-choice open-mind individuals, hypocrites. Now we see that you are only pro-choice as long as it fits with your viewpoint. Why are you so scared of a strong women that can make up her own mind?
anonAugust 29th, 2008 - 7:30 pm
Well, she’s no community organizer….
92% of Women SMARTER Than PalinAugust 29th, 2008 - 7:42 pm
Yeah, 92% of women, according to research, opted to abort when they learned the fetus they carried would be a Down Syndrome baby. But not this Supermom!
Note that her DAUGHTER is struggling to hold onto the baby, which looks like it is slipping from her grasp, in the video. Obviously, NOT PALIN but somebody else (probably her daughters) will be raising this 4-month old baby while Palin’s out trying to gain access to the White House!
Orin BAugust 29th, 2008 - 8:28 pm
This is brilliant of McCain. He know women will follow other women and the best ones will do what they are told. The Dumbocrats told women We don’t want you, we don’t want a woman on our ticket.
The Republicans just told all those women, We want you, we will put a woman on our ticket., a smart woman a stong woman, a woman who has led men as the mayor of a town and for 2 years as the Governor of the Biggest State in the Union and kept it mostly free of Illegals. If she can do that she can do almost anything.
Women like to stick together, especially to gang up on a man. They will now walk, run, flounce, sashay and waddle over to the Republican side, where they belong and will work tirelessly against Obama, who threw his white grandmother and Hillery under the bus.
Welcome, girls and women, Welcome to a Republican landside. Here you will learn to be treated like a real woman, not just a vote.

One can only conclude from -not at fault’s- post that she’s sooooo fugly she can’t even get any in ALASKA! And that has to be pretty gosh darn fu-fu-fu-fugly. Maybe she could wear strips of moose bacon for earrings or something.

Who is Sarah Palin?
The next Vice President of the United States.

Deluded ILK – (that really fits your personality, I bet) -
You call me a blockhead for pointing out that Gov. Palin had her baby with Downs and did not terminate it, like so many heartless and miserable people with no real regard for life or core values. You need not worry about who will handle this child being brought up, since it is not yours to worry about, plus I’m sure the Palin family has it handled. Are you jealous that you don’t have a loving and caring family like that, maybe. . .
Angry Black Man –
believe me, the people who can see true character of a genuine, accomplished woman who radiates strength and fortitude are quite happy with Senator McCain’s choice for VP.
Believe me, we know what Democraps are all about. They attack her kids and call her foul names, since they cannot actually articulate a coherent, meaningful sentence which contains any real truth, only hatred and distortion.
Can someone please erase the comment from ‘Not at fault’ ? It really is disgusting.
DemoRats don’t like it much when you beat them at the game of tolerance and diversity. Suck it up losers. MCain just beat them badly at their own game. Biden will look like a bully taking her on in a debate and she can also make him look like an a** which is why it’s the symbol of a stubborn headed political fanaticism party.
That's Funny!August 30th, 2008 - 12:07 am
Okay, wait, let me get this straight….she has a 80% approval rating…from what…the baby seals that haven’t been slaughtered?
The voting district of Alaska is lower than Cape Cod’s!
That’s like calling the state of Kansas “red” because the third delegate couldn’t read the poll numbers right, and the entire state was deemed Republican even though Kerry won by 50, 000 votes. C’mon people. There are streets in Manhattan with more voters.
Gregory ScottAugust 30th, 2008 - 12:08 am
Greg Scott,
A coward using my name? No!
Your comments are very silly and don’t apply. Let me explain why: Not At Fault and I have discussed a few things, and one of them was his father. So that is why I mentioned that. Sorry I didn’t let you in on this beforehand, you big git. Now I feel guilty for making you go into convulsions.
I love to see you people embarrass yourselves in your fits of uncontrollable rage! It makes me case speak loud and clear, even though you are all too angry to understand.
Bitter people with no guns or religion to cling to— so sad.
Gregory ScottAugust 30th, 2008 - 12:10 am
Unarmed American,
No matter the credentials you may possess that try to lay a claim to the contrary, you are obviously daft. I am sorry that education alone could not remedy this. Perhaps electroshock could?
Isn't that TINA FEY?August 30th, 2008 - 2:12 am
You sure that is not TINA FEY?!
McCain sure knows how to pick ‘em, don’t he?! Guess he needed a lady by his side who doesn’t look like Death Warmed Over. Both McCain & Cindy look like albinos who need a blood transfusion.
Our country is in for some VERY HARD TIMES.

McBush is getting desparate, no disrespect to Gov. Palin, but putting a woman on the ticket to tempt all the whining Hillary supporters to vote GOP is a last ditch move that will crash and burn horribly. Is she going to wipe the drool from McBush’s mouth while he is speaking on the stump? Ray Curtis, Bill Chicago and Jason you have no clue about politics or “DemoRats, democraps” as you call them.

You call being a Mongoloid “LIFE”? And you know damned well WHO will be “raising” this “precious life”–it won’t be Palin! It’ll be her young DAUGHTERS, saddled with raising this handicapped kid, and tainted all their lives by the traumatic experience. (Or it will be some Hispanic Nanny.) Palin will be too busy with Affairs of State to bother with that poor kid, assuming Americans are dumb enough to vote for that goofy pair, McCain/Palin.
You people defended that eyelash-batting beauty are self-deluded idiots… just like Palin and her ilk.
The whole thing is a TRAVESTY! A cruel JOKE, not only on that poor kid–but also on our entire country, if the Republicans win this election.
Not that the Obama camp is any better. THIS WHOLE ELECTION PORTENDS DARK DAYS AHEAD… regardless of who wins.

John made a good choice and any Republican doubting his judgment is doing a disservice to themselves. Before long, I am completely convinced that the Republicans will love her and get to know her. Give her a chance, don’t buy into the mainstream media spin.
Armed Texans's a dumbas*August 30th, 2008 - 4:47 am
Oh, I love to hear you liberals gripe! One of you wants Downs Syndrome children slain in the womb (or outside, if its quick enough). You’ve never had one of these people in your family. You think their life is not worth living. How cold and cruel-hearted— how unfair to the innocent! You would take their lives away because YOU don’t consider it living. I don’t consider being a liberal living; maybe we ought to come after you (a JOKE, you uptight cowards). How cowardly to kill one because you don’t think their life will be worth living. It is horrifying, really. You have no idea what it is like to live that way, or to live with these people. You would consider it a curse only because it would demand more of you to tend for them. Swine, yet so self-righteous.
Then we have old ‘Not at fault’— with his ironic name— chiming in on his blindly cynical views of how this woman got ahead in life. So charming, so typical. Utter hateful drivel, meaningless to dispute, as all lines that come from this individual are. The words are wasted as soon as they are typed because nothing can get through to people such as him. Perhaps your father might have been wise to take your life when you were in the womb, to prevent you from becoming such a miserable, hate-filled creature, ‘Not at fault”? Oh, I’m sure he would not have considered such a life to be worth living, as “Deluded ILK” claims being a “mongoloid” is not.
Oh, the party of love and joy, and change, and happiness, forgiveness, equal opportunity, absence of racism, etc. What happy folk you all are! So cute and fuzzy and sweet!

Man, I have a confession to make. It was me who took those dollars from your wallet. You left it on the night stand and I was “delivering†a “pepperoni pizza†to your old lady and,… well you get the picture. Put yourself in my shoes. I’ve got a 30 million dollar nut to cover, and I have to get it wherever I can. No hard feelings I hope, ol’ buddy. Love ya!

What I find interesting is all of the rightards complaining of the libtards nasty comments, but there aren’t any.
Granted, Breitbart doesn’t follow the linear time continuum, but the facts are that Neo-Cons are always there to keep people from having abortions, but they’re never there to help the parents raise the child.
Fact: most people that work with special needs are Liberals. So, where are you fascists?
Home complaining about all the “Needy, whiny Liberals”?
Funny, as soon as the FIRST Republican Female VP-to-be shows up with a “Downs Baby”, you’re all “with it” and compassionate.
Christians have no right calling anyone a hypocrite.

Girl, you got that right!!!!!!!!! They are way too busy being SELF-RIGHTEOUS AND INDIGNANT about other people’s choices, to devote time to assisting in any helpful way. (And please do NOT bring up McLame’s so-called Compassion in ‘adopting’ 3 kids–2 were his first wife’s kids & #3 was a surprise dropped on him at the airport by Ms. McLame… HE didn’t have anything to do with it, did he, now.)

Read the comments from 92% and Not At Fault. When you’re done, add illiterate and brain-dead to your libtard resume.
“Fact: most people that work with special needs are Liberals.”
Fact: most libtards pull “facts” from their “factholes” and hope they never get called on it. Prove your “fact” or STFU, libtard
TINA FEY for PREZAugust 30th, 2008 - 7:29 am
Hey! Here’s a thought:
Let’s all WRITE IN *TINA FEY* for President and go ahead and vote for SARAH PALIN, Tina’s lookalike, for VP.
That ought to confuse ‘em all–the first FEMALE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE.
Sickened by the crappy choice this election? Vote for Tina Fey & Sarah Palin; & pass it on.
I feel very sorry for you. Down Syndrome people have no choice in their affliction, but you actually choose to be the way you are. So I feel sorrow for those so misguided that they would make such a decision…
One would think that all these Democrats taking care of Down Syndrome people would have simply aborted them. Maybe they themselves weren’t very smart? And, since— according to your ‘facts’— this is the majority, what does this say of the Democrats? NOT VERY CLEVER.
Unarmed AmericanAugust 30th, 2008 - 7:52 am
Hey “Armed Texan” (duh, what else?)
I suppose you have worked with the Special Needs Population for several years, or actually never met one in person?
Fed Up is pretty close. I have run group homes, and day-habs for adults with MR for many years, and the only Neo-Cons that work at those places don’t last long because they spend their time trying to convert the people with MR and then get frustrated.
I actually fired three people for trying to “excorcise demons” from clients.
That doesn’t qualify as trying to help them.
Remember, “Jesus was a Liberal, but his followers are deaf.”
Gregory ScottAugust 30th, 2008 - 8:04 am
To a serial poster like myself, this time-stamp issue with Breitbart is blastingly annoying.
Unarmed,
Neo-Cons does not equal Christian people. If you think this is so, you need to go grab a dictionary. Things are more complicated than that. And it’s no surprise that most people working in these homes are liberals— explains all the cases of abuse I hear about from these places.
MarvAugust 30th, 2008 - 8:05 am
Maybe she’s Jewish, but so what? Most of the people who founded th NeoConservative movement were Jewish. They were all brilliant college professors, most of whom were so smart that they never had to work at menial jobs that would distract them from figuring out what was best for us.
Many of them are now criticizing George Bush because he screwed up and got things wrong. It is really frustrating to work hard for all those years working out a plan that will work and then have someone do it wrong. Bush did the best he could and his heart was in the right place but he simply lacked executive experience. Governor of Texas is mainly a ceremonial job. McCain has been in the senate for a long time, but that is not an executive job. Ms. Palin, however, brings 2 years of experience being a real governor of a real state.
McCain, under Palin’s guidance, will be more likely to follow the plan. He is a maverick on small things, but knows what the stakes are on the big things, so lets all get behind her and him and stop this squabbling.
Armed TexanAugust 30th, 2008 - 9:30 am
Unbrained American FAIL!
This may be hard for a libtard like yourself to wrap their tiny brain around, but anecdotal evidence is not fact (gasp!). I really don’t give a c rap where you work or what you do. Provide a link to some verifiable data to support your claim that liberals provide most of the aid to special needs children or STFU.
In God we trust. All others bring data.
Armed TexanAugust 30th, 2008 - 9:37 am
Unbrained American uses typical libtard tactics. Make up something that sounds good and state it as a “fact”. If you don’t get caught, it’s as good as the truth. If you do get caught, change the subject. So pathetic.

PTA PALINAugust 30th, 2008 - 10:54 pm
Sorry, but I don’t want a PTA mom running the White House… and if McLame croaks, we could end up with that.
Not only that, but there are a lot of FASCINATING (AND SCARY) DETAILS about to emerge about Palin’s so-called “devout Christianity” (Assembly of God/speaking in tongues/rolling on floor/exorcising demons type of DEVOTION?)…
People better slow down and STUDY this woman before rushing out to VOTE for her.
PS Are you SURE she’s not TINA FEY??? This could all be just a sick joke that McLame is playing; he is well known for practical joking!
Obama was smart not to select Hillary as his VP. I think he loves life, his wife and his two children. I was not going to vote at all this election, but once John McCain selected a real deal with Sarah Palin I will vote Republician since I can’t vote for Ron Paul who I had intended to write him in, but what’s the use, it will only throw the election to Obama and if that were to happen, God help this country. My vote is McCain/Palin 2008 for the REAL DEAL!
