Fact or Fiction: Analysis of Obama’s Invesco Field Speech

PolitiFact: "We found Obama was doing a little cherry-picking with his claim that Sen. John McCain 'said no to higher fuel-efficiency standards for cars.' In fact, McCain has a mixed record, having opposed such measures in 2003 and 2005. But he was such a leader in the effort to raise fuel economy that he was lauded by Sen. Edward Kennedy. We gave Obama's claim a Barely True."

I must say, people never seem to remember exactly what happened under Democratic presidents… How about Carter? And people say Clinton was so great, that they had all this money… So Clinton made that happen, all while he was in office? Using what? Magic? People are so naive as to how things actually work.

Obama’s people just released a memo saying that his VP pick was just a mayor of a town with 9000 People. They completely ignored that she is an 80% Aprival rated Governor!Liberals nopt only lie constantly…they also omit truths which is just as bad a lying.
Biden has lied throughout his tenure..on three college degrees..to using other’s speeches..to taking credit for the surge which he and obama voted against.I can’t wait for the VP debates and watch him blow it!
Liberalism is based on lies…lies about the beginning of life..about gays being normal…about everything from Joe McCarthy to Obama’s Islamic and terrorist ties to his Marxist ideas. They care more about the rights of Islamic murders then the safety of America and winning the war on terrporism. They lie and cheat on their wifes and say they didn’t do it…or she had sex…not Bill…or everyone does it.They lie when they say they are Christians and say Jesus would also abort babies and condone gay marriage. They are the arrogant-imoral darkness in our great country.Vote mcCain to save us from their sinful ways.

This was fair, I was surprised.

That said, why does Clinton take personal responsibility for the economy doing well under him? What about the incredibly blow-up of the internet and all net-related businesses during his term? Oh, that was all Clinton? Right. And Bush presides over a downturn… It seems more accurate to give a president credit for what happens after he leaves office, since his policies take a while to have their effect. So therefore Clinton benefitted from Reagan and Bush I, and Bush has been kicked in the teeth by Clinton. Including Osama bin Laden’s attack, as well.

McCain and his advisers are smart. They know that Women are easily led. They are bred and trained to be that way.

Women like to stick together too. They will now start flocking to McCain/Palin like the minorities flocked to Obama.

McCain will now get the vote of about 95% of the women who supported Clinton and about 50% of the female morons who support Obama.

Obama will be stuck only with the gays, the minorities and the tards, abortion fans and lesbos. Prediction: McCain in a landslide by 50 points.

I guess there’s no need to mention these TINY economic tidbits:

-burst of the internet bubble
-9/11 Attacks
-economy getting better when Clinton entered office
-economy getting worse when Clinton left office
-most economists proclaiming that it was thanks to Bush’s economic policies that the nation didn’t slip into a depression after 9/11.
-poverty levels lower now than during Clinton administration
-unemployment levels lower now than at various times in the Clinton administration.

Isn’t selective memory great?

Looks like the cherry-picking was over what facts to check. I think El Capitan, above, has it %100 right! The whole picture reflects the honest truth. Liberals need to quit living in their make believe world…it’s making things worse, not better. They won’t work on problems that need attention(terrorism, oil, nat’l security), and instead work on problems that don’t exist (global warming, America’s “image” in the world, recession).

This proves that Liberals are Liars and that McCain is at least Half a Liberal and a Flip Flopper.

Gregory Scott, however is a Flop Flipper! Way to Go, Gregory.

Gregory Scott   August 29th, 2008 - 10:11 pm

A flop flipper? That sounds interesting.

Lee   August 29th, 2008 - 10:16 pm

When will people realize you can’t question “THE CHOSEN ONE” even if you have FACTS on your side? He’s the sum of his parts — a LIBERAL- SOCIALIST – empty suit!

Flyoverman   August 29th, 2008 - 10:36 pm

Sea change…… McCain just nuked the Obama campaign with Governor Palin.
