Ceasefire: McCain Congratulates Obama on Historic Nomination in New Campaign Ad

“Senator Obama, this is truly a good day for America. Too often the achievements of our opponents go unnoticed. So I wanted to stop and say, congratulations,” McCain says in the ad, “How perfect that your nomination would come on this historic day. Tomorrow, we’ll be back at it. But tonight senator, job well done.”

You fools have nominated an Arab-American.

I would’ve worded the commercial like so:

“Senator Obama, this is truly a unique day in American history. Never has a non-skilled, unaccomplished street agitator gone from being a community organizer to Presidential nominee in such short order. And, with so many ties to terrorists and racist pastors to boot. So I wanted to stop my planning of my new administration and tell you, congratulations. How perfect that your nomination would come on such a non-eventful day. Tomorrow, I’ll be slapping you down, just like I did yesterday and today. And tonight, junior senator, your media-created campaign is just about done.”

That man has more class in his little finger than the entire DNC!

“America vs McCain”??? It certainly doesn’t appear to be true. The country is split about 50/50 just like in the last few elections. People will continue to vote based on party, not substance.

Well poster by name of America, little is more applicable to one who must resort to your denigration.

For too long this country has been lead by politicians in Washington D.C. that have forgotten Top O’Neil’s example of a good public citizen. The art of compromise which this Democrat so capably used to help this nation has become a lost art to those in Congress today.

The change We the People are looking for is not so much in direction as it is in the working atmosphere in this nation’s capital. We want politicians who put this nation’s welfare above petty politics, slander, small minded attacks, and their particular party’s welfare. We want solutions not hot air. And especially, we demand the truth from the MSM instead of their brand of leftist propaganda that is no more than political manipulation on par with interest groups and labor unions.

We want to be a great nation again, even if that means starting with fresh people in Washington D.C. Most of all though, we are tired of the hatred your kind of rhetoric spews. You should take the time to see what the experts say about debating the facts; for when one has to resort to denigration and name calling, it only indicates they have no grounds or facts with which to properly debate the issues (instead of the people).

“Shut up and let the adults handle things?” Like Carter did in the 1970s, with 2-block gas lines and a humiliating hostage crisis?

Like Clinton did in the 1990s with a failed healthcare plan… by selling military secrets to the Chinese in exchange for illegal political contributions… with unanswered terrorists’ attacks on NYC, our ships & embassies abroad… all while Clinton committed perjury and disgraced his office with cheap sex?

Who are you kidding, Why?

The terrorist group Clinton IGNORED and allowed to flourish is isolated in the tribal regions of Pakistan after getting its ass handed to it in Iraq. Iraq is now a democracy and relatively safe, thanks to the Surge that Obama STILL opposes even knowing it’s allowed the possibility for our troops to come home with their heads held high and Iraq to be a stable country. Saddam and his murderous sons are DEAD and rotting in Hell. There hasn’t been a terrorist attack in the States since 9/11, so we can all walk down the streets without worrying about blowing up.

AIDS support and funding are at an all-time HIGH in Africa and millions are being saved. Unemployment and interest rates are low, and oil/gas prices have been dropping like a stone since Bush called for the lifting of the 27-year old ban on offshore domestic oil drilling.

This country isn’t weak… it’s the minds and wills of many of its citizens, who are constantly blaming the USA for the world’s ills (but ONLY when a Republican is President) and happy to hand over the reins of power to an unknown liberal who’s never run so much as a lemonade stand, that are weak.
