What a LOSER!!!It figures, old man Castro is defending this idiot and his actions

Arthur Dent   August 25th, 2008 - 5:56 pm

Castro’s defending this guy’s actions. Morons.

Daryl   August 25th, 2008 - 6:42 pm

I’m pretty sure that if that had happen in the original Olympics this behavior would result in the competitor being killed, dismembered or literally thrown to the lions…so today I think either the entire team should have all medals stripped immediately or the entire team should be banned completely from all Olympic participation for a complete cycle. That would get everyone’s attention…afterall itis supposed to be a TEAM!

Drumz   August 25th, 2008 - 8:11 pm

Cheap shots don’t count in the world of men. Gotta play by the rules to earn any respect. Any coward could kick an unsuspecting person. Big deal. Show some self-control. Isn’t that what martial arts is about? Self-control??

donnagal   August 25th, 2008 - 8:13 pm

Typical spoiled rotten commie…whatcha expect….sportsmanship?

Michael Angley   August 25th, 2008 - 8:31 pm

Angel Valodia Matos is not a true martial artist. He took a cheep shot at an innocent Victim. He should be ashamed of himself. Castro can say whatever he wants. This is why we have free speech in our great country America. He who wants to make an ass out of themselves can and will! Then we can laugh at them!

BOB   August 25th, 2008 - 9:31 pm

JUST ANOTHER CHEAP SHOT LOOSER.. JUST LIKE CASTRO.

davem   August 25th, 2008 - 11:34 pm

What a idiot. glad he got banned from ever fighting in any world sanctioned event. which means everything in Karate. this goon is finished before he got started.

Jake   August 26th, 2008 - 12:05 am

The whole team should not be stripped. That’s not fair. The individual himself should suffer. The country has already taken enough grief for one man’s actions. If this happened to the United States, I believe I would see different opinions than this. Cuba received 12 hard earned medals. And this has nothing to do with someone’s race.

BRZ   August 26th, 2008 - 12:59 am

Was this the best video they could find? It looks like it was recorded on a cell phone.

ms oshawa   August 26th, 2008 - 1:39 am

I think there were many more judges that needed to be kicked in the head at these olympics..it has been the worst olympic judging all around I have ever seen during a games in over 40 years

Anti-Communist   August 26th, 2008 - 1:46 am

How silly that anyone should be suprised at such a degrading spectacle by people from that fetid Fidel Fiefdom. Add to that the contest was in a land (China) where people are disposesed and despoiled of their homes to make room for the great hoax (Olympics), and you have a recipe for the ridiculous. I had noting to do with any of it and simply read books or surfed the net. Cuban barbarian communist thugs kicking defensless little people? To hell with them (and that is where they go, of course). I know I wouldn’t take that kick too well myself, though I would plant a 38 round right into his putrid, vile brain. Kwan do that, fart boy.

Bill Kostelic   August 26th, 2008 - 1:54 am

He is a disgrace to the entire world of martial arts, and Cuba.

refreshing   August 26th, 2008 - 2:04 am

Its refreshing to see that thug blacks act like thug blacks elsewhere around the world. I know our breeds are a good bit more agressive than most, but this demonstrates their animalistic mentality even on the largest stage in the world. Kind of like the thugs and felons that we called the redeem team this year. Ban tattoed thugs from the games and we’ll all be much better off. Also, out with basketball, soccer, tennis, boxing and baseball. Worthless sports that encourage thuggery (OK except for tennis) and have their own yearly major championships and don’t need to played with professional athletes that perform for a living. Bring the off-kilter sports that all nations can compete in if they chose to train for them.

This looks like another case where someone gets a free pass to commit assault and battery under the cover of “sports”. He should have been arrested the same as if he had done that out on the street.

Another black eye (no pun intended) for Cuba, Castro and communism.

El Jay   August 26th, 2008 - 2:59 am

.
MysterE, you are an Obama supporter right ???

.

John   August 26th, 2008 - 3:09 am

I agree with all the previous comments. He is the worlds biggest loser and should have been arrested.

matt   August 26th, 2008 - 3:13 am

Castro has been dead for years!

Barrack Obama   August 26th, 2008 - 3:24 am

Seems he is just a stupid Chicano. The reason he lost is that he SUCKS!!! Back to Cuba and all the rest of the poorest nation in the Caribbean…

dc   August 26th, 2008 - 4:31 am

dam*n liberals

JVC   August 26th, 2008 - 4:41 am

This Cuban Scumbag and Zindane from France should never be allowed or given another professional sports license again. Both of these are SCUM with no respect to the profession. Strip the team of their medals and let them sort it out on THEIR ISLAND of ISOLATION.

Maggots…pure scum

BOB   August 26th, 2008 - 5:22 am

JUST ANOTHER CHEAP SHOT LOSER.. JUST LIKE CASTRO.

Fidel   August 26th, 2008 - 7:57 am

No suprises here…it’s widely known that the Cubanos are hot blooded and unable to control their emotions/tempers. Remember Alien Gonzales back in the Reno days? The whole Cubano community nearly imploded on eachother!

kcuhC   August 26th, 2008 - 8:17 am

A proud moment for Cuba. Frankly I think it is offensive that China hosted the Olympics given their oppressive government.

MysterE   August 26th, 2008 - 10:07 am

In case you didn’t notice, the Cuban was ahead in the points — which means that the judge effectively stripped him of a hard-earned medal. If you had ever worked hard enough to be close to being a contender for something like an Olympic medal, perhaps you’d understand his frustration with the referee.

While that doesn’t excuse his actions, it puts them into perspective. Those of you bashing communists could use a little perspective yourself – all of the things you buy at the mall comes from China, the largest communist country in the world. So there you go, supporting the very government system you claim to bash. You guys are all stupid.

Jlynn   August 26th, 2008 - 10:23 am

MysterE SHUT UP you moron. There is no excuse for a trained martial artist to attack an unsuspecting person.
