One of these days (very soon) one or more of these “peaceful demonstrators” will be wearing an explosive vest, not hoping for it, but it is all too clear that these left wingers are getting more unhinged by the hour. What they will never realize is that the more they scream their insane “message” the less people want to hear ANYTHING they have to say, which starts the cycle of insanity churning even further, as nothing is more demeaning to an indoctrinated screamer than to be ignored.

So the guy complaining about “unhinged” protesters is named “demdicks”? Self awareness just exploded.

I know this is a comment page and not a chat room or a political blog as many don’t seem to realize but anyway Hello Mike in Dallas- finally some cooler weather. Now for the comment.

So far the Dem convention is going about normal for the Dems. What a cross section of kooks! The so called demonstrators are doing the usual and trying to prevent anyone else from having their say except themselves and calling it “free speech”. Just as they do on liberal college campuses. They are not about debate or discussion as they claim-they are about chaos and anarchy. And they seem to think that includes throwing feces and urine on people hence the new law against it in Denver and a corral built just for them.

If anyone is confused about the difference between Democrats and Republicans just watch the conventions. Whatever you see happening there is an indication of what you can expect to see if that party takes office for 4 years.

The Democrats claim to represent the common man but then they talk of raising his taxes and the price of his gasoline and tolerating illegal labor who undercut his wages. They want to increase taxation on the businesses who employ him and pay his benefits. They want to make it impossible for him to defend himself and his family against criminals and at the same time undermine the efforts of law enforcement or the military to do the same. They tell him his laws and constitution are not good enough and must abandon them for European laws or UN supervision. They tell him he can’t even mention his own religion for fear it might offend some immigrants beliefs while promoting the immigrant’s religion at every opportunity. They tell him his own language is not good enough any more because the excessive number of immigrants, legal and illegal, who can’t and won’t speak it. They claim to be the best hope for the Black man yet in the last 40 years have only increased his dependence on welfare and gov’t programs and the drug culture the liberal Democrat promotes.
It seems to me that the Dems represent everyone except the ordinary citizen. If fact it seems they only want the ordinary citizen around for his tax money to use for promoting their anti-American world view.

Charles Tatum you are correct – the reporter is not supposed to be the story but because the “Liberals” refuse to let anyone hear opposing points of view he became the story in standing up for my 1st Ammmendent rights (It’s his job to keep the public (you and me) informed).

I have a right to hear why these people are protesting – are they afraid to state why? Are they ashamed of what they are doing or saying?

The protesters will consider this convention a failure if they are unable to exceed the level of rioting, destruction and stupidity of the 1968 convention. I hope it all goes down on primetime TV. Maybe we’ll see armed conflict. I love a good show.

Hey Geezy, when you and your ilk spent 8 years moaning about how Bill Clinton was ruining the country, how many times did people ask you to leave the country? Zero? How many times was your patriotism questioned? Zero? Why is an attack on Clinton perfectly OK, but an attack on Bush or McCain treason?

Because I don’t agree with what the President has done, or don’t wish to see what McCain WILL do, doesn’t mean I hate my country. Heck, if I hated my country I’d be out campaigning for 4 more disastrous years of a Republican president.
