It’s Biden! Delaware Senator to Join Obama on Democratic Ticket
AP: Barack Obama selected Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware late Friday night to be his vice presidential running mate, according to a Democratic official, balancing his ticket with an older congressional veteran well-versed in foreign and defense issues.
Oh,this should be good.2 -extreme left- guys who blame the USA for all the Worlds ills. One is black/white, blatantly clueless, and the other is a old HAS BEEN who cons the RICH brain-dead in Delaware.
Its all YOURS to win McCain!

Well, when ABC News broke in with a SPECIAL REPORT, we sat up, thinking, Now what?! Has Russia invaded us, or what?
Then we see it’s *ONLY* the Obama/Biden announcement…
YAWN…. (And how do you explain all those Obama/Bayh bumper stickers?!)
Thought this was to be a Text message deal? Looks like Obama’s tightly held secret got LEAKED by his own camp. Good goin’ guys.
This presidential race is bound to be a laugh a minute… Too bad the whole thing is really a *TRAGEDY* (not a comedy) of Biblical Proportions because none of the candidates seems to offer ANYthing that our country needs…
But maybe McCain will choose somebody with surprising appeal, and things might liven up yet–who knows?!
HillaryAugust 23rd, 2008 - 2:29 am
Noooooooooo!!!!!! I’ll get you my pretty and your little dog too! (Wizard of Oz) LOL
McCain has just won the 2008 Election, hands down!
ChiChiAugust 23rd, 2008 - 2:36 am
Well, that’s ONE Chicagoan (Obama) to another Chicagoan (Hillary).
Wonder what Surprises await us next week in Denver? Surely Hillary will come up with SOMEthing to top Obama’s VP selection! Remember her famous line about: “UNLESS *SOMETHING* [scandalous] SURFACES, Obama will be the nominee…”?!

If this was McCain picking we’d be hearing about ‘just another white male, rich Washington insider.’
But IS Obama a U.S. Citizen?August 23rd, 2008 - 3:51 am
The so-called birth certificate that is depicted on Obama’s campaign website is NOT the ORIGINAL birth certificate, so it proves nothing. This is just a form onto which some information has been typed. Even if it is a “Certified” “official” document released by some agency in Hawaii, it is NOT THE ORIGINAL, so it proves nothing.
Americans deserve to see the ORIGINAL birth record so we can know whether this candidate is legally qualified to run for President of our country.
Obambi is such a neophyte he needs Biden to tell him how to conduct foreign policy…what a joke!!
I thought he was the change candidate. Now he has the consummate Washington insider telling him what to do.
Also, the LOSERS who signed up for his phony text messages, what a joke, they think “they’re special” or something. Now he has all of their phone numbers.
Mr DAugust 23rd, 2008 - 4:58 am
This is fantastic news, I love Biden. He is a straight shooter and a wonderful speaker!
Great choice!!!

And believe me when I say that Jets fans are among the least dignified people on the face of the globe.
In fact, Jets fans and dignity are oil and water.
Don’t preach to me about Jets fans and dignity! They should never be in the same conversation.
dswilliAugust 23rd, 2008 - 9:13 am
Not at fault typical left winger has nothing of substance to say so you resort to name calling. That’s okay I’m sure you and your substandard living friends are disapointed in the VP pick. I know you had big plans for all the Obama redistribution of wealth. Guess that collect unemployment till you collect social security thing just went away huh? That’s fine I’m sure some Republican will give you a “ground floor opportunity” in his/her company. Also when did you imbeciles decide that being rich was a bad thing? If you had any brains that’s what you’d aspire to. If it weren’t for the rich your ilk would not be able to lay around all day and get your “govment check”.

The Democrats just lost the election. Blue collar and “Reagan Democrat” voters are not going to cast their ballots for this team.

Biden will overshadow Obama because Biden is very arrogant and testy. Obama will not like to work with Biden if they get elected. There will be conflict. Hillary must be smiling at this news. She should have won the nomination. Howard Dean, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi should get some heat for all that is happening to the Democrat party. There is no common sense, only political sense. If Obama thinks that picking Biden will give him the best in political expediency, he has fouled this chances for the presidency.
There are Africans that Senator Obama can choose and I have discussed this with him on several occasions. While I feel the Senator understands my point of view and what is at stake here historically, I am disappointed that he’ll likely be making a political choice and not a moral one.
It is not likely that Louis Farrakhan will be his VP selection but he can be a key advisor to President Obama’s administration. Senator Obama has great respect for Minister Farrakhan and I hope he will continue to play a role in his life.
Al Sharpton, Julian Bond, Kweisi Mfume, Maxine Waters, Benjamin Chavis Stephanie Tubbs Jones and Cynthia McKinney would all be fine choices for the Vice Presidency.
Let’s be honest here. The only reason any Democrats are upset today is because they KNOW their impending welfare checks just got pushed up at least another 4 years. Truth hurts…

Steve TAugust 23rd, 2008 - 12:32 pm
I suspect those who are saying this a yawn or boring choice would have said that whomever Obama picked.
You right wing evangelical bootlickers need to come up with something original in your oppositions.
Oh, that’s right. Your conservatives. Nothing should change that doesn’t fit into your narrow point of view.
That’s what happens when you can only point fingers at those who aren’t you. You begin to actually believe that your way is the only way.
Logically, don’t you see that this kind of mindset is best for a totalitarian type of leadership?
It’s not hard to see how you voted for GWB twice because he has been doing nothing but trying to imperialize the presidency.
Way to go Barry! Joe Biden is one of the straighest shooters in Washington. He will advise you, not direct you. He won’t push for policies that favor only conservative philosophy or a narrow point of view.
You won’t see any Haliburtons or Blackwaters with Biden.
BTW Helen: I’ve never seen a PREFECT set of boobs before. Though I usually enjoy perfection.
TexanAugust 23rd, 2008 - 12:56 pm
Not vetting Hillary was like putting a snake in your shirt and trusting it will not bite; texting at 3 AM is pulling the snake’s tail while still in your shirt. Obamie, you’d better have a torniquete and anti-vemom on hand.
GolliwoggAugust 23rd, 2008 - 2:26 pm
Biden a straightshooter?? He couldn’t hit the beach from the knee deep water in front of it. Goody goody gumdrops, we have loads of dirt on Btden. He, unlike Obama, actually has a record of more than 140 days. This is going to be a fun election culminating with those c-span shows where a roundtable of hand wringing liberals dissect Obamas campaign to see where he went wrong leading to his loss.
Steve TAugust 23rd, 2008 - 2:43 pm
Golliwog Polly Wog
You said dirt? That’s all idiots like you seem to know how to use to make your arguments. No real facts.
You criticize Obama for not having enough experience then salivate over someone with real experience to expose their dirt.
This is what the nation really needs?
You are a disgusting little peon who is being led around by a bunch of bullies.
The underlining message of your blogs:
“I’m really scared of my own shadow and don’t have a mind of my own. I need someone of authority to lead me around. I wish we had an authoritarian government beyond what George Bush and Cheney have tried to implement. Oh no! The terrorists are in every corner and only John McCain can prevent them from striking. Please help me!”
Go back to your corner and suck your thumb and let the adults handle this election.
“Goody goody gumdrops.” That phrase showed your real intellectual level. Right Polly Wog. Oh, I’m sorry Golliwog.
The WordAugust 23rd, 2008 - 2:44 pm
When Biden says “The next republican that tells me I’m not religious, I’m going to shove my rosary beads right down their throat”, shows how easy it will be to beat these two. More of his positions include abortion as health-care and same-sex marriage as a maturation process. These are precisely the types of euphemistic deceptions that only widen the gap between the democrats and voters concerned with so-called social issues.
T SteveAugust 23rd, 2008 - 2:54 pm
Steve T, mouth full of PeePee:
It seems all wings of the Democratic Party–while still officially endorsing the practice of killing infants in the womb–wish the word Ëœabortion” would simply disappear. Interviewer Chris Matthews was amazed last week when DNC Chairman Howard Dean even balked at uttering the politically-correct term “pro-choice”. Now, you’re getting hesitant on the war and hesitant on abortion rights. It’s very hard to get clarity from your party. Read the polls and weep Shill T, Oh sorry Steve T.
Working ClassAugust 23rd, 2008 - 3:13 pm
Steve T, you ought to stop drinking your own urine and calling it kool aid, sport. Your posts reek of desparation, worry and angst. Its just politics, dude. The Shrums and Plouffs of the world lose and the Roves and Davis’ win, simple as that. Get used to it, its like being a Jet fan, if you can’t lose and still keep your dignity, get outta da game, pal. Don’t pout when your guy outspends ours on ads that are hollow and shallow, when he should be sooooo far ahead by now what with the rascally Republicans doing such a “lousy job the last 8 years”, when his shallow promises of change change change equate to a 1/2% point lead nationally with widening leads for McCain in battleground states. By the way, where’s Hussein Obamas wife been? Don’t be a crybaby like Obama. Your posts show you to be a mental midget, just like your guy.
LET's GO Back to Square ONEAugust 23rd, 2008 - 3:49 pm
Why can’t we start this WHOLE PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN ALL OVER AGAIN, and get somebody WORTH VOTING FOR on the tickets???????
(Assuming there IS anyone left in America who would be WORTH voting for…BIG assumption.)
Well, there’s always Paris Hilton…
FredAugust 23rd, 2008 - 3:58 pm
Sen. Joe Biden change since 1972,,,
Steve TAugust 23rd, 2008 - 4:02 pm
Never said I was Democrat or who I was voting for.
I just see a lot of pointless rhetoric.
There seems to be a lot of digestive problems in this country (where only junk is being extruded).
The bottom line: Obama and McCain will effect little or no change for the betterment of the most people.
All I see from the posts are name calling (I’m guilty too) and racist/childish rants.
They way the right wingers try to make kool aid (at least you knew how to spell it correctly) sound, urine might be preferable.
So, I’m to take it that only the libetards (what’s the correct spelling? I’ve seen libitards and libatards as well) use dirty tactics? Both sides are guilty.
Obama has actually disappointed me with his latest tactics. He was more or less forced into the fray that way.
I will go on with my life if McCain or Obama is elected. It’s “mental midgets” who post fictional blogs that don’t help the process.
But that’s alright, you can tell me I was wrong when he hands over the country to the terrorists.
Are there people out there who really believe that would happen? Talk about mental midgets.
Dan, St. Louis USAAugust 23rd, 2008 - 4:35 pm
Well, at least we now know Obama is “clean and articulate” who “is not ready to be the president” but “I have a higher IQ than you” Biden, will be there to copy write speeches for Obama.
jbh50August 23rd, 2008 - 4:49 pm
Wow! Elitism, arrogance, and self-centeredness all rolled up into a nice black ‘n white package! What a losing ticket
Steve TAugust 23rd, 2008 - 5:11 pm
Wow! It took until “Not at fault” to get it.
You, my brother, realize that most of the posts and the headlines and videos (if they stream half of the time) are a joke.
I don’t even watch the B Cast anymore because it became obvious, it was becoming just another right wing piece. (I also try to ignore far left wing propaganda)
The rest of them don’t get it. The extremes from both sides have hijacked the political process.
The middle will eventually rule and more of us will benefit.
The extremes are losers.
claspurAugust 23rd, 2008 - 5:33 pm
Can anyone tell me exactly what time this a.m. that news offically broke on this “team” running?
Who are these idiots-releasing news like this when most of the rest of this country is in bed?
This sounds alarm bells to all the other chit these anti-Americans will get away with passing while we sleep.
TheOneAugust 23rd, 2008 - 7:06 pm
I’m stunned. I’ve been a huge Obama supporter. But Biden is the definition of a Washington insider. Why Obama, why? Why not Hillary? Why not Gore? Why not Kucinich? Why not Ron Paul?
I’m stunned. This makes Obama look like a politician.
I’m going to want to see who McCain picks.
BoboAugust 23rd, 2008 - 7:09 pm
No stupid, the GOP is not made up of the 3 Rs. A few racist idiots posting on a message board can’t be logically extrapolated to define an entire group.
The GOP is about getting educated, working hard and gaining the rewards of success without handouts or entitlements. The Democrats are the total opposite.
Of course people like you aren’t smart enough to understand this.
Your MotherAugust 23rd, 2008 - 7:25 pm
So long TARDS!!!! Now we’ll have a fillabuster-proof Senate. Biden has more experience than McCain and anyone he chooses as his running mate in every single arena. Enjoy your remaining days! YOUR TIME IS OVER FVCKERS!!!!
Anti-CrimmigrantAugust 23rd, 2008 - 7:30 pm
To everyone arguing back and forth this is all you need to know: Obama, without Hillary supporters has just lost the election and it will be by a landslide I bet.
This is how the next 4 years will go and I’d bet my life savings on it: 08/McCain and 2012/Hillary. Not a psychic I just really believe this is how it will go. I don’t like any one of the forementioned by the way. How tragic for all.
claspurAugust 23rd, 2008 - 8:25 pm
That Your Mother goofus would be funny if not so pathetic.
Our time, everyones’ time is over if NObama bin Biden wins this.
More stuff will go ’splodn’, our military will get chopped-off worse at the knees than under Clinton and Carter, while Russia will try its’ hardest to build-up with the Chinese.
Enemies with-in here need to taken-out.
Treason and the traitors of this nation will see their end of times too, soon.
Love you idiots…. I Hate this Country! If so-and-so wins, I’m moving to Canada!
So move already…
This is another good one…. I hate private ownership of guns, while I need to call my armed bodyguard to get-out tomorrow night to go night-clubbing… *just up-chucked in my mouth a bit…
Gruf2008August 23rd, 2008 - 8:42 pm
I look at it this way. The age factor doesn’t matter anymore as a talking point for the left because there are two old people running: one for President (Republican) and the other for Vice President (Democrat). So now nobody can make fun of McCain’s age because Obama has chosen an old person as his running mate. So basically, age is not an issue anymore.
Your MotherAugust 23rd, 2008 - 11:12 pm
Claspur the dino would be funny too if not so paranoid and drunk off of the fear-mongering special sauce. That post WWII-high/Cold War mentality is what gets us in trouble. Times are changing, deal with it. McCain/? can’t pull it off.
God is smiling on the GOP right now.
