The group that Ayers and Obama are both on is an anti-poverty group. The ad makes it look like it’s a terrorist group, but it’s not.

Ayers was never convicted of any crime related to the Weathermen bombings, even though he admits a connection to the group and its ideals.

Obama was only 8 years old when the Weathermen enacted their violent protests, so he never participated in their terrorist organization. Also, the only victim of the Weathermen was one of their own members.

Also, the weathermen clearly believed in the right to bear arms.

Make sure you pass your judgment taking all of the true facts into account. Look it up in the washington post.

6: Obama had stated he will cut taxes for the middle class. Here are some facts. The richest people in the U.S. (and believe me I’m not one of them, I work 3 jobs—lost my best job under the Clinton regime, thanks to NAFTA) pay 70% of our taxes. In addition approx. 40% of our population pay 0 taxes because of how much they make (or don’t make I guess), the rest of us are the middle class. Now from what Obama has said and what I heard was he will take back the bad, bad tax breaks given by George Bush which amounts to an average of $3400 for middle class America. He will then give middle class America a $1,000 tax credit. Now if the mindless that are programmed to pull one lever get a pencil and paper they should be able to figure out that they are actually getting a tax raise of $2400, on average and he has diguised that as a tax break.

7: I apologize for saying this without giving a name but I can’t remember what democratic politician said it but it was within the last month. they have thawarted every attempt by the present administration from passing any bills put forth to try and move the economy forward and they have been doing this for over a year. The reason–”We will do nothing to help the republicans with the upcoming election”. That’s right, the democratic congress could care less about the problems we face and the current economy crisis, it’s more important to make the republicans look as bad as possible prior to the election. Even now they are refusing to pass the 700 billion dollar buyout that every economist is saying is the only way from stopping us going into a full repression.

8: I’m not saying that the republicans haven’t made their share of mistakes but a person running for President that has a congressional voting record that more often then not has him voting PRESENT, isn’t the guy we need in office. If he doesn’t have the guts to vote Yea or Nay on an issue then he isn’t ready for that preverbial 3 AM call. He doesn’t vote on issues for two reasons, first no poll was taken to show him which vote would get him more votes in his next election and he doesn’t want to have any evidence behind him of how he will really run the Country, if elected. He tells people in Wisconsion one thing and then travels to Pennsylvania and tells then the exact opposite, he does nothing but pander for votes.

9: Last but not least, Obama has selected Joe Biden as his running mate, that should be enough to show you he doesn’t have the judgemment to be President. Biden is a liability as a politician, he’s been running for President and has never even gathered 1% of the democratic vote. He’s a liability as a catholic, one of the reasons he was selected. He stands in front of his church, yet votes for every abortion bill that has ever existed, including the killing of those already outside the womb. He’s a liability as a speaker as he forgets what he’s supposed to say and just rambles on and constanly contradicts himself and Obama. Neither of them have any executive experience but try to use Gov. Palin’s record as a lack of experience. Well running a city regardless of how small and being Governor of Alaska is much more impressive then anything either of these two did.

I believe in my heart most people want to make a difference or help people they just don’t know how. I believe I have a solution people will feel proud to put there time and energy into. The Internet is the solution and no politician can stop it.

It is you our so called leaders that have truly hurt this great nation, the power struggles, intoxicated with greed and control. When the ambition and dreams disappear because the Government provides everything, the entrepreneurial sprit dies with it. Humans are controlled or swayed to take action by three primary concerns, Recognition, Fear and Greed. People of Faith, Dreamers and Free thinkers can be a burden to Government because they can not be controlled. More government control equals less personal ambition, determination, desire and will to better ones future It is my belief that leaders, countries, politicians, and media, discourage optimism and create fear and dependency which further fuels this situation. Why, so popular opinion and dependency is controlled by them. (Give people hope, desire, education, belief and the opportunity, humans will succeed.)

Wherever Fame, Power, Control and Money are present, we must assume some humans will gain the ability to self-reason through the eyes of greed to serve only themselves. When in a position of Power, controlling authority, fame and money will change even the best of humans. Once power is achieved the fear of loss of money and power will alter the path to create the outcome that best serves the individual not the masses. So where are all the real leaders in the world? Another part of the problem is the fact that some people in the world have no idea who they are, why there are here and what there real purpose in life is. Because of this they may be confused, jealous, bitter, and or angry. Well I believe there is a tipping point, popular opinion, negativity, depression, helplessness and anger multiplied by the millions on a world scale, what happens? Answer: What we have in the world today, little hope, no direction, no purpose and chaos for so many. The one thing you can give to the masses, is hope, direction and belief in ones self, all things are possible.

The Plan

The answer is a shift in the balance of power, the world is getting smaller, the web is the way to bring all humans together. We can not realistically change the political system, so we have to use it to our advantage. Right or Left serves only half the Population. The answer is easy! We must remove all financial and power benefits from political positions. Politicians are in office to serve the peoples will. It is only through knowledge, communication and our resolve as free people that we can change the world.
Politicians are among the worst offenders of corruption, self-serving greed and the abuse of power to further there own pockets, causes and political gains. No longer will political opportunist benefit while others suffer, for their financial gain. No longer can political leader be in total control of misinformation and the systematic manipulation of popular opinion. We must remove all financial gains to the leaders. There lies, deceit and manipulation have reached an all time high.

Our plan is to build a website that has 5 main parts the first is self promotion to show the best that people are capable of, the theme “(What have you done to make a difference in the world today.)” The second is a voting section. (A lot to this section.) The third is a committee assignment section.. (A lot to this section too.) The fourth is International affaires working with the people of other countries. The fifth is Charity exchange uniting people, communities, states, countries and with the things they need. We must take care of our own we all have different skills and talents strengths and weakness, success comes to those who find their passion and set their goals. To create a Website is the international hub.

Over taxation, Immigration issues, Tort abuses and political corruption, Power struggles, Greed and all the Lies are breaking the back of the people. First of all, most of you should use Microsoft Word before posting a comment, because most of these comments have more misuse of the English language in one paragraph than Bush had throughout his entire presidency and that is pathetic on both accounts.

Secondly, this ad clearly does not construct any logically sound arguments. For example, calling someone “mainstream” does not really indicate any positive or negative feeling toward a person. Mainstream merely indicates that a thought is prevailing. There are many negative thoughts that sometimes become mainstream. This word is most likely included because the argument didn’t seem convincing enough from the designer’s perspective without it.

Additionally, this ad does not mention the context in which Obama mentioned “respectable.” They merely present one word instead of a complete statement. The whole statement is probably omitted because it would exonerate him from what the ad is trying so desperately to imply.

I am not trying to state a political preference for Obama and I will not claim to know the actual truth behind Obama’s psyche. However, from an analytical perspective, this ad presents a very sparse amount of facts and spends most of the time appealing to people’s emotions and as such, is probably based on deception. Those who launched this ad and those who take it as convincing evidence should be ashamed.

I am a Christian Conservative and I will be voting for McCain because he is not Obama. McCain is not a socialist, he is not pro-choice, he is not against the 2nd amendment, he does not want to tax us to death. I would have preferred another candidate but if I have to choose between not voting and keeping Obama out of the White House, I will vote McCain to try to keep Obama out of the White House.

There are issues that matter a great deal to me, but my country and fellow citizens are more important as a whole than my issues. If Obama is elected with the democrat controled Congress, this country as we know it will be changed forever.

Regardless of party affiliations, this discussion just illustrates how so many lazy Americans eat up these ads (which, like commercials attempting to sell products, are strategically designed to play on our emotions-not on rational thought). It’s the epitome of passive learning that fuels our already politically brainwashed minds. We should all put down our potato chips, peel ourselves off our lazyboys and head to the library to find some authoritative sources before we succumb to any knee-jerk emotional reactions, whether it be acceptance or dismissal of such an ad.
As any writer knows, citing ads (which are always biased) is lazy, unprofessional, and unconvincing. That said,
“Voice of Reason” gives a good commentary on the ad from an analytical, rather than emotional, perspective.

I met Bill Ayers last year when we invited him to speak at our school at a seminar on war and peace. I found him to be compelling, informed, and conscientious. I do not believe him to be the extremist terrorist that the media has painted him to be. His message to the kids? Get involved. Have an opinion. Pay attention to world around you and your responsibility to it. I was thoroughly inspired and so were my high school students. As he explained it to us, his involvement with the bombing of the Pentagon as a Vietnam protest was purely circumstantial. The wing of the building that was bombed was unused at the time and completely empty -chosen for that exact reason; nobody would get hurt. The protest was meant to make a statement -to force the politicians to think about the thousands upon thousands of American lives senselessly sacrificed, not hurt anybody. Aside from that, the individuals responsible for the act were merely a part of the same organization as Ayers, not Ayers himself. At the end of the day, it’s all sensationalized… carefull what you believe, people.

Heaven help us. There are good guys and bad guys.

1. Franklin Raines: was a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Fannie Mae. Raines was forced to retire from his position with Fannie Mae when auditing discovered severe irregulaties in Fannie Mae’s accounting activities. At the time of his
Departure The Wall Street Journal noted, ” Raines, who long defended the company’s accounting despite mounting evidence that it wasn’t proper, issued a statement late Tuesday conceding that “mistakes were made” and saying he would assume responsibility as he had earlier promised. News reports indicate the company was under growing pressure from regulators to shake up its management in the wake of findings that the company’s books ran afoul of generally accepted accounting principles for four years.” Fannie Mae had to reduce its surplus by $9 billion.
Raines left with a “golden parachute valued at $240 Million in benefits. The Government filed suit against Raines when the depth of the accounting scandal became clear. http://housingdoom.com/2006/12/18/fannie-charges/ . The Government noted, “The 101 charges reveal how the individuals improperly manipulated earnings to maximize their bonuses, while knowingly neglecting accounting systems and internal controls, misapplying over twenty accounting principles and misleading the regulator and the public. The Notice explains how they submitted six years of misleading and inaccurate accounting statements and inaccurate capital reports that enabled them to grow Fannie Mae in an unsafe and unsound manner.” These charges were made in 2006. The Court ordered Raines to return $50 Million Dollars he received in bonuses based on the miss-stated Fannie Mae profits.
2. Tim Howard: Was the Chief Financial Officer of Fannie Mae. Howard “was a strong internal proponent of using accounting strategies that would ensure a “stable pattern of earnings” at Fannie. In everyday English – he was cooking the books. The Government Investigation determined that, “Chief Financial Officer, Tim Howard, failed to provide adequate oversight to key control and reporting functions within Fannie Mae,”

On June 16, 2006, Rep. Richard Baker, R-La ., asked the Justice Department to investigate his allegations that two former Fannie Mae executives lied to Congress in October 2004 when they denied manipulating the mortgage-finance giant’s income statement to achieve management pay bonuses. Investigations by federal regulators and the company’s board of directors since concluded that management did manipulate 1998 earnings to trigger bonuses. Raines and Howard resigned under pressure in late 2004.

Howard’s Golden Parachute was estimated at $20 Million!

3. Jim Johnson: A former executive at Lehman Brothers and who was later forced from his position as Fannie Mae CEO. A look at the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight’s May 2006 report on mismanagement and corruption inside Fannie Mae, and you’ll see some interesting things about Johnson. Investigators found that Fannie Mae had hidden a substantial amount of Johnson’s 1998 compensation from the public, reporting that it was between $6 million and $7 million when it fact it was $21 million.” Johnson is currently under investigation for taking illegal loans from Countrywide while serving as CEO of Fannie Mae.

Johnson’s Golden Parachute was estimated at $28 Million.

Now is the time to be on our knees, asking for guidence, not fighting each other.
Our fight is not against flesh and blood, but spirits and principalities, lets ban together and get the right man elected.

More than anything I want to see signs on the Post Offices, that say IN GOD WE TRUST, I want to see prayers back in the schools.

When I had cancer, I had people all around me I could talk to, but I knew that God was the only one, who would understand, I couldn’t have made it if I hadn’t had god to talk to.

This election is about: Right vs. Wrong – Good vs. Bad – Work vs. Entitlement – Equality vs. Extortion

As a human Race do we want to say that, our future, our hunger, our health, our jobs and our opportunity to to be better is all dependant upon the Government.

Are we ready to accept our children being raised in this environment, will this not produce another generation of humans that believe others must provide for them? This is not right and it is not sustainable.

Forgive me God for assuming anything on your behalf, but is it not your intention for all humans to get along with one another, is it not your intention for us to better ourselves through knowledge and personal development, to improve our lives and the lives of others is this not our life’s purpose.

A question to ask: Does anyone consistently feel good about getting a handout NO
A question to consider; Does it feel good to help another YES

So If we give the Government a $1.00 to help others, the numbers of people it takes, the regulation and oversight just to help others. Because of all this red tape and corruption .30 cents is what ends up getting back to you to help. Greed and Corruption play a large roll as well that’s why it takes so much more money.

The worse thing about this is not the wasted money, misuse and disregard of the public’s intention to help others. It is that we the humans that inhabit this great planet miss the opportunity to feel the pure satisfaction the shear delight of helping a fellow man. It is us the average American person the Joe the plumber that needs to save this great country from those who wish to exploit it and change the fabric that is our constitution. We the People will bring about all the change we need. Keep our country safe and stay out of our Lives.

I was Ayers’ age when he was with the Weatherman Faction. I also lived in Chicago, Ill and am quite familiar with it’s politics.

God help us if McCain doesn’t win. This is the first time in my life I am praying to God every day to protect us from a liberal agenda that will make us a third world country in not too many years. I guess we will get what we deserve and if we deserve a liberal congress, executive branch, and possibly a judicial branch we will deserve it.

This election is not a sporting event where my team is better than your team no matter how bad they are. This is for our country’s ultimate survival. Wake up before it is too late.
