ONE STATES LAW SHOULD NOT DIFFER FROM THE OTHERS. SHOTINGS AND KILLINGS HAPPEN JUST ABOUT EVERY OTHER DAY IN THIS STATE {CONN.) THE KILLER IN THIS CASE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE GOTTEN 5 TO 10 ..THE MENTALLY ILL MAN PROBABLY WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TWO YEARS….WHERE’S THE EQUAL JUSTICE FOR ALL?

I don’t see how justice is served by putting this person to death. I speak, though, as the father of a young man who suffers from childhood onset schizophrenia. There should be facilities for such people, as there used to be. Their judgment is extremely impaired. For our own failure to protect them and protect others from them they should be executed? Pretty sad.
