New FAA Tapes Reveal Obama Pilot Declared ‘Emergency’ During St. Louis Landing

"At this time we would like to declare an emergency and also have CFR (crash equipment) standing by in St. Louis."

Dan Abrams, like most reporters is clueless about aviation topics. There has been a push in aviation circles to get pilots to declare emergency when in doubt. For years the practice has been for pilots to “beat around the bush” and hint at something almost like an E-word but never come out and say “emergency.” The CVR audio didn’t sound 1% as bad as the hyperventilating reporters seem to think. Asking to have CFR equipment in position isn’t unusual, nor does it indicate the incident was far more serious than first suggested.

The public would do well to discount the seriousness of aviation topics mentioned in the press except when reported by dedicated aviation reporters. How on earth a tape released on an event that happened weeks ago is classified as “breaking news” is just plain silly. I guess it’s better than televising some care chase 7 states away, well maybe it’s just as stupid as the live car chase.

So what…

The pilot had a bad plane with many passengers and it was obviously in some mechanical trouble. Planes are real safe now so nobody died here or anything… But his was clearly an emergency that needed the special attention it was due.

Just following FAA regs and all to bring everyone home safely…

Yawn… A dumb story…

What could possibly be the big deal on this. The MESSIAH was aboard,he can’t be hurt,he could just say land safely and it “will be done”.About the only thing to actually bring him down might be a video of him standing, applauding and cheering during one of the rev’s hate-America rants in the name of JESUS.If only that one was on the new release wall, maybe someday…soon.
