Obama, you are a liar.

Our country is in the dire economic straits we are in because of high oil prices.

We have high fuel prices because LIBERAL DEMOCRATS have legislated policies that restrict our ability to be self-reliant.

Yes, the government is to blame. But, it is the DEMOCRATS who are the part of government where the blame should rest.

Damned lying politicians! Most of them are the most despicable people on the planet.

Hold on, RogerCfroSD.
You say, “But, it is the DEMOCRATS who are the part of government where the blame should rest.” Beginning in 1953 this nation has had 36 years of Republican Presidents compared to 12 years with a Democratic President. Since 1993 with the 104th Congress, up until the most recent election in 2007 the Republicans were the majority party holding BOTH the House and the Senate. Please explain specifically your assertion that “liberal Democrats,” who have been in the minority in Congress and didn’t hold the power of the president’s veto “legislated policies that restrict our ability to be self reliant.” Your assertion is without fact, substance or merit. Just a lot of meaningless hooey that sounds damning but is sheer fiction! Get the facts straight.

Ok let’s quit dropping the cow chips and face facts.

It’s a system of more then one party. Everyone shares blame in the state of our energy policy.

I am reminded of the saying “Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.”

Our problem is we know how to fish but refuse to put our line in the water.

Let’s start getting the oil we know we have and work on other ideas for energy at the same time.

It’s multitasking folks.
