The Al Sharpton of the House…what a rube.

Scott Bland   July 29th, 2008 - 3:06 pm

The most ridiculous, race-baiting, illogical statement I have heard all week.

Cognitive Dissident   July 29th, 2008 - 3:19 pm

yeah right. What, next they’re going to claim that there are a “disproportionate amount of blacks” affected by Hurricane Katrina. What a joke!

Berny Frank   July 29th, 2008 - 3:20 pm

House Majority Whip–

He needs to look in the mirror. WhiteS are the majority.Get over it! Blacks are only 13%.

Rover   July 29th, 2008 - 3:22 pm

The white man is the reason for global warming, knowing full well it will hurt the blacks. The average white person need to stand up to this injustice and fight for equality for blacks. When Obama becomes president he will change the way white America has been and bring in a new global equality for blacks. I am a white man who supports reparations for the black community, it is the only way we can right the wrong did to them during slavery, and continued through Bush via Katrina.
Obama 08 will be great for the world.

mikey   July 29th, 2008 - 3:24 pm

hurricanes aren’t climate, dillweed. this is cynical race manipulation, nothing more.

Berny Frank   July 29th, 2008 - 3:29 pm

Equality for blacks can’t work because they don’t have equality of intelligence. Equality is only equal by being capable of being equal. Envy doesn’t do it.

House Majority WhipPoints for reference on being black or White:

U.S.A. blacks have an average I..Q of 85

U.S.A. Whites have an average I..Q. of 100

BIG DIFFERENCE in Intelligence !!!!!!!

85 at least used to be clinically designated as a “moron”

just below that is a “embicle”

then an idiot

To be P.C. below are the terms that are now used. Figure it out yourselves what the black race is that we White European Americans are dealing with!

“Four categories of intellectual disability have traditionally been used – mild, moderate, severe and profound – based upon I..Q assessments, where an I..Q of 100 is average.”

Happy white   July 29th, 2008 - 3:30 pm

They never fail to come up with a new line of BS, to justify their situation. Keep them supplied with crack, booze, white women, and they will adjust just fine>

Jerry King   July 29th, 2008 - 3:33 pm

These race-baiting eco-buffoons have become a parody of themselves. It is so transparent and predictable: Rush Limbaugh is always saying how the Democrats twist every issue into “Issue X hurts minorities and women more!”

Sure enough, these power-hungry hacks come along and do exactly what they are predicted to do. The sad thing is that there are people stupid enough to believe this horse puckey.

Cognitive Dissident   July 29th, 2008 - 3:43 pm

“hurricanes aren’t climate”

yeah right. Hurricanes, the weather, the climate. ALL COMPLETE UNRELATED. DURRRRR.

Tony Click   July 29th, 2008 - 3:55 pm

There are more then 30,000 scientist that have signed a petition stating that global climate changed caused by people is a lie. The only scientist or other people who believe in climate change caused by people only have half a brain. It the blacks think the whites are changing the climate just to dump on them does that mean the blacks only have 1/4 brains? I would have to say yes because according to blacks there bad life is always somebody else’s fault. This means they are obliviously stupid if after 143 years they can’t see that their decisions affect their life not slavery and not the whites, get over it or move back to Africa so you can fit in over there and won’t have anything to complainer about.

JustMy2Cents   July 29th, 2008 - 3:57 pm

“It is critical our community be an integral and active part of the debate because African-Americans are disproportionately impacted by the effects of {fill in the blank} economically, socially and through our health and well-being.”

Some of your choices:
climate change
housing foreclosures
obesity due to fast foods
illegal aliens
white people
African Americans (oops – you’ll never see this one mentioned)

Debib   July 29th, 2008 - 3:58 pm

Rover you’re insane! WE don’t owe any current blacks a dime for what happened years and years ago, that’s just nuts. And this statement that global warming is racist, is just an insane. Living in the Memphis area like I do, I see time and again opportunity squandered because of some misguided ‘entitlement’ ideal that is constantly fueled by the Al Shaprton’s of this world. Enough is enough…

And to those that insult the blacks by saying they are less intellegent…shame on you too.

mlong   July 29th, 2008 - 4:02 pm

This reminds me of a Rush Limbaugh classic bit..

News paper headline..

“World to end tomorrow,Women and Minorities hardest hit.”

Gregory Scott   July 29th, 2008 - 4:15 pm

Global Warming is racist! It’s raaaaaciiist! Where are Sharpton and Jesse? You know, at first I laughed at this stuff. And then I realized that dark colors /do/ absorb more sunlight, whereas white colors reflect more. And so, you see, they’re right. Blacks will be hotter. The sun really is a racist.

Mayate   July 29th, 2008 - 4:32 pm

I am sooo tired of hearing these blacks. They are just plain too ignorant to do anything for themselves. For generations they had diamonds washing up between their toes and didn’t know it. Look at Haiti, couldn’t run a country to save their miserable lives. Here we give them free housing, food stamps, medical, dental, vision, school lunches, tuition, transportation, heating oil, electricity, pedicures, manicures, clothing, and then they turn around and steal from us to buy booze, drugs, guns, cigarettes, and 24’s for their rides. And to top it all off, all they do is whine, whine, whine it not enough.

Pete J   July 29th, 2008 - 5:05 pm

Talk about a moron. That ranks amongst the stupidest things I have heard a politician say and, I am sorry to say it, black politicians in Congress (especially Conyers & Waters) regularly make some of the most ignorant or stupid statements in the American political arena. This guy is about as smart as Obama’s dog.

Also, people should stop counting Obama as victor already. He isn’t running against Bush or anyone like him and his poll numbers don’t even match Kerry’s at this point in the election and we know what happened to him.

I will vote for Obama but I am betting that he is going to lose.

peter c   July 29th, 2008 - 5:23 pm

Mayate said it all. But, if Obama gets in this kind of racist jive will become more and more the norm.More money for not only Blacks but also Illegals. It’s just unreal that this country could fall in on it’s self due to the whining and the leftist Media kissing that Punk Obama’s behind and telling the world he is the new Jesus!Right! A Jesus who believes in parcial birth abortion? Gay marriage?Marxism? An elitist Jesus? This is totally insane! To say Climate change hurts Blacks more so they can suck on the public’s tit even more is INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The DEMS are ALL INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

joe   July 29th, 2008 - 5:27 pm

Hey Berny, before you call an entire race of people “embiciles” and tout your own intellectual superiority in quoting your outdated “statistics” you may want to learn how to spell first. It makes your whole superiority argument a little more palatable.

SOn of Rodin   July 29th, 2008 - 5:40 pm

Yes, the poor will always be “disproportionately impacted” by all kinds of things, such as rising food costs, rising interest rates, rising gas prices, etc. The way out is not to ask for more handouts, but to – uggghhh – take steps to raise one’s economic standing. Maybe do your homework and get a good education that can lead to a higher paying job. Try that, instead of whining. That’s how the rest of us did it.

Getting Cooler   July 29th, 2008 - 5:59 pm

There is no such thing a global warming. Every Moron knows that.

America is JUST   July 29th, 2008 - 6:16 pm

The economic system of America is inherently fair and balanced. Black people are inherently inferior. The rules simply serve to prove this.

Mr.P   July 29th, 2008 - 6:21 pm

If the black race-baiters can’t get their slavery REPARATIONS in one form from USA taxpayers, they’ll try another, like the hoax called ‘global warming’.

In all my 50 plus years living in the USA,many black ‘leaders’ have continuously whined and moaned about the sorry state of their peoples lives in America.Slavery was abolished in 1865.143 years later, they’re still whining.

Other than Native American Indians(who I somewhat sympathize with),I don’t know of any group or race who complains more about their circumstances or perceived injustices than blacks.I think its bred into them. Not all mind you,but many.

If you can’t make it here in the USA,you’re not going to make it anywhere. This country has more opportunity than any other.IMO.Sitting around and complaining or waiting for a handout will only lead to more malaise in your life. Why can’t some/many blacks figure this out?

Russ   July 29th, 2008 - 7:29 pm

Ey Brutha, gots a quarter fo da global warming cause? Vote fo me an ya be not impacted! I won’t “isolate” you cause I missed da bus today, that’s why I-SO-LATE –ahh, ha ha ha…

beverly   July 29th, 2008 - 7:44 pm

yo bro….call the waaaaambulance for your sniveling victim lovin’ culture. ever think that maybe all the pollution from crack pipes,
old clunker cars, menthol cigarettes and hot air coming from you, jackson, sharpton and obama contribute to the b.s global warming crap?
if your whining people would get off their asses, get jobs, marry the girls they get pregnant, pull up their pants, speak english
and join the rest of America…they wouldn’t have time to whine so much.

TypicalTanPerson   July 29th, 2008 - 8:18 pm

Beverly,
if “those” people got off their asses, got jobs, spoke English instead of ebonics, they’d be accused of ACTING WHITE, thus losing their golden ticket in the victim lottery, seewhatumsayin…

J   July 29th, 2008 - 8:43 pm

I guess the opposite is true that whites or more accurately everyone other than black is Disproportionately Impacted’ by having to make for blacks. No one else is allowed to ride the self pity wagon. So called black leaders have been holding back generations with their BS. It’s time for blacks to rise up and start being Americans first and blacks second.

beverly   July 29th, 2008 - 9:35 pm

typicaltanperson…i see what you’re saying and i completely agree. i come from a racially diverse background and it really burns me to see
people use their race as a weapon and the same time as an excuse.

[...] is just getting silly.  Jim Clyburn, a South Carolina representative and House Majority Whip, said the following: “It is critical our community be an integral and active part of the debate because [...]

atomic   July 29th, 2008 - 9:52 pm

This really isn’t that hard to figure out. Global warming or “climate change” as their now calling it…causes severe weather outbreaks…..when the weather is constantly bad black people can’t sell their crack on the street corner or otherwise wreak havoc on society….and that makes them depressed and broke!

buster   July 29th, 2008 - 10:35 pm

I don’t much believe in man-made global warming more likely the sun has more to do with it then carbon dioxide we exhale, cow farts or any other bs putting the blame on man

and just when did water vapor and carbon dioxide (2 of the basic building blocks of life) become dangerous greenhouse gases that must be controlled and ‘paid’ for with carbon credits

but never the less, how one particular race of humans on this planet can be affected by climate change more then the others?

this just proves that there should be a intelligence test given to see if a person is smart enough to vote then maybe we wouldn’t get idiots like this elected to public office

m-antony   July 29th, 2008 - 10:35 pm

Here is a quarter(quota)for(fo)some ice cream, sir(beotch)!It is getting hot in here….Al,obambi,puff the magic dragon….How much electricity…..Ufck it, Whoppi, who’s your n i g g a?

Enzo   July 29th, 2008 - 11:00 pm

But of course… The climate was definitely different in Africa than when it was when they were brought to America. Their ancestors were indeed effected by climate change.

Enzo   July 29th, 2008 - 11:10 pm

And Rover…

You’ve got to be someone who is just pulling the legs of regular folk. Your stuff is too far over the edge to be real. Even crazy people aren’t as crazy as you try to appear.

You almost had me Rover, but I’m onto your game…

You!… You’re good, you!

J Locke   July 30th, 2008 - 12:06 am

I can’t believe the leadership of our Congress is made up of idiots like Pelosi and this clown. Critics of Bush have the audacity to call him a moron. Pelosi, the savior of the planet, and Clyburn are down right scary. Add Obama to the mix and get ready for change won’t believe is happening.

Therefore he cannot be a moron. A goof, definately. Just think, this guy gets $ 130K a year from the taxpayers. Talk about a bad deal for us!
