He was a BIG champion of Bill Clintons.

libsukbad   July 24th, 2008 - 4:13 pm

If he’s true to his word, he should start bashing (deservedly) democrats in congress, as well as obummer. If he follows through, I may get satellite radio, but ONLY if he starts bashing liberals.

raspen   July 24th, 2008 - 4:14 pm

Typical limousine liberal.

As long as the Dems are taking someone else’s livelihood, they are cool.

But, don’t you DARE take from me! That’s when I put my foot down.

Welcome to reality, Howie baby.

Sean   July 24th, 2008 - 4:30 pm

He is a Long Island Democrat which is the same as a liberal Republican.

DRUMZ   July 24th, 2008 - 4:35 pm

Too bad Howard didn’t stand up for Ron Paul when he had the opportunity.

Hey, FaFa Flow-bee, how about getting Howard a speaker role at Ron Paul’s Campaign for Liberty alternate RNC convention in Minneapolis?

Don Imus   July 24th, 2008 - 4:45 pm

This schmuck, who thought he and his mealy mouthed listeners were so on the same sheet of music, he could deliver the election for Kerry and Gore and he couldn’t do squat. Don’t believe this con man, he isn’t going to vote anything other than democrat, because he is but a liberal boot licker. Now he is over there on satellite radio, sucking wind, not getting much of an audience that he needs to say something that will get him some national airtime. What a JOKE!

good to hear from howard again, i the man is old and should die

Rick in Texas   July 24th, 2008 - 4:54 pm

Well of course the Democrats are communists and socialists. They have been for decades now so we’re glad to see you realize it Howard. They want to redistribute your wealth to the people that will vote to keep them in power. The Progressive Caucus in Congress is a part of the Democratic Socialist of America (DSA). Here’s a blurb on their connection:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Until 1999, DSA hosted the website of the Progressive Caucus. Following a subsequent expose of the link between the two entities, the Progressive Caucus established its own website under the auspices of Congress. But DSA and the Progressive Caucus remain intimately linked. All 58 Progressive Caucus members also belong to DSA. In addition to these members of Congress, other prominent DSA members include Noam Chomsky, Ed Asner, Gloria Steinem, and Cornel West, who serves as the organization’s honorary Chair.
~~~~~~~~~~~

Just search for Democratic Socialist of America and Progressive Caucus together and you’ll find all you want.

REVHATCHELL   July 24th, 2008 - 4:56 pm

boo hoo,

howard ‘billion dollars’ stern is whining about resistance to monopoly so he can make even MOAR MONEY!!!

how about you take your billions and fight for free speech and the fair market capitalism that has made you filthy rich or…

stfu howard.

Lance   July 24th, 2008 - 5:08 pm

Just cutting this clip out takes what he said out of context. He was venting. It was far from an official vow.

SoCal Patriot   July 24th, 2008 - 5:42 pm

Howard was a big fan of Ron Paul when he starting hearing about him. He liked everything Ron Paul stood for.

But then, his corporate handlers told him to Shut the F*** Up about that Mr. Ron “I love Freedom and the Constitution” Paul.

Too bad he didn’t have the balls to back him when he had the chance. So sorry for you Howard. Time to take your medicine, and get with the reality that the rest of us have been forced to live with.

SoCal Patriot   July 24th, 2008 - 5:48 pm

It looks like Howard will be forced to vote for Juan McCain. Juan will literally go to war for Howard’s vote…

[...] See the whole video at Breitbart: I will never vote for a Democrat again! [...]

Cee   July 24th, 2008 - 6:11 pm

Howard, you are a fool. Such a bright guy and you wasted it on puking contests and sybian rides. You deserve to lose.

Robin   July 24th, 2008 - 6:18 pm

Give him time to settle down and he will be voting for the new king of all blacks “Obama”!

O-Baaaaaa-Ma   July 24th, 2008 - 6:18 pm

Remember when Howard decided to take Bush down. He bashed him daily, not over the war or economy, but over the FCC. He begged his listeners to mobilize against Republicans. Bush won anyway!

I’m sure O-Baaaa-Ma is shaking in his boots.

Mike   July 24th, 2008 - 6:32 pm

Howard is a jerk.

d00d   July 24th, 2008 - 6:51 pm

Of all the names I’ve heard McCain being called by commenters riding the short bus(the friggin ‘tards!)… McSame, McBush, etc, Juan McCain is by far the most hilarious.

Brian   July 24th, 2008 - 6:58 pm

Are you kidding me? This moron is just now realizing that the democrats are socialist/communists? I almost gagged on my lunch when I listed to Obaminable tell the Berliners how proud he was that the Americans worked with the Europeans to stem the tide of Communism, when all Obaminable and the other left winger liberals all are doing everything possible to turn the US into a Communist nation.

Communist nation – we should be so lucky – Bush and his supporters have trampled on every principle, every freedom, every dignity, every liberty that America has stood for – and that tens of thousands fought and died for – and yet – his followers who imagine they are still in the 50s talk about Communists – why not just talk about the witches in Salem – really – you people are more of a threat – and have done more to destroy America – than any terrorist – you and your chimp in the White House are traitors and should be dealt with as such.

We are 9 trillion in debt – 3 trillion under this mama’s boy alone – we spend $13 a day for every single man, woman, and child in the US on the interest on that debt – every single day – we started a war – with a lie – told by a coward that is estimated to cost 2 trillion – that we have not paid one dime on – we started and have fought this war on credit – expecting – as not other Administration has ever done before in the history of this country – for the entire war to be paid for by future generations – and this 2 trillion war – is with a country with no real weapons or army – we are spending $77,000 for every single man, woman and child in Iraq on this war – and this makes sense?

Don’t kid yourselves — you are stupider than any communist – you have willingly given up more freedom than any communist – and thanks to your stupidity and cowardice – you will soon be worse off than any communist.

Hey Republicans – are you happy yet. 19 men who were nothing – ever – in the history of civilization – caused you to fall to your knees and crawl on you bellies on 9-11 – and there you have stayed. Willing to give up anything, any principle, liberty, freedom, dignity – any future – for the transparent tragic lazy lie that you are safe. Yeah, safe from everything but your own pathetic need, cowardice and stupidity.

Otto   July 24th, 2008 - 7:44 pm

Howard: Don’t let the door hit you where the good lord split you. You can go now. Bye bye.

Guy Incognito   July 24th, 2008 - 7:49 pm

I would never pay for radio.
Hey Howard, I remember when we could listen to you for free.

Paul   July 24th, 2008 - 8:10 pm

Howard should be promoting Libertarian candidates. I truly believe that the majority of America doesn’t want either Obama or McCain as their next president. Neither one got the majority of their own party’s vote, let alone the independants. This is the third election in a row with two horrible candidates.

jrscott   July 24th, 2008 - 8:53 pm

“This is the third election in a row with two horrible candidates.”

Try Fifth. Just sayin’.

Clem   July 24th, 2008 - 8:57 pm

Good night, Howard. Too bad you’re sucking wind now.

Anonymous   July 24th, 2008 - 9:05 pm

Some people are a little slow, but regardless, we’re glad to have you with us Stern. Better late than never.

“Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has no heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains.”
-Winston Churchill

Patrick   July 24th, 2008 - 9:49 pm

I agree with Howard here. Bush has been a disaster. As a small government Republican I am actually looking forward to the liberals taking over next year because it will actually remind people how misguided their policies are. We need another Jimmy Carter moment to revive conservatism and I am hoping Obama is incompetent enough to provide that moment.

Cowtown   July 24th, 2008 - 10:10 pm

I love Howard’s program, but I think he is 20 years too late! From Bush 1 through Clintonianism, and Bush II, we have seen gov’t grow at an astonishing rate. Until we shrink the federal governments budget and thirst for others money, and force able bodied people to fend and make good for themselves we will be doomed just like the Greeks and the Romans before us. Open boarders, entitlements (IE: promises to the general public), and an overexpanded military were the downfall of both.

Regretfully another century of this so called “Republic” is very unlikely.

Opie   July 24th, 2008 - 11:54 pm

Ricky, I have one question for you that no one from your dark corner of the thinking spectrum has even been able to answer for me. Name one freedom that you have lost. Give me just one example of something, antyhing, that you can no longer do because of George Bush that you used to be able to do 5 years ago.

grik   July 25th, 2008 - 12:07 am

Poor Howard doesnt remember what it is like to be told NO. He probably hasnt heard it much since he earned all those millions making the world a better place by feeling up his guests and talking dirty.

Sandy Underpants   July 25th, 2008 - 2:22 am

I guess he’s voting for Barr or Nader because I know he detests Bush. I’m not so sure that this is a negative turn for the Democrats though, as Stern supported Kerry, Gore, and Clinton, which makes him a 3 time loser and counting.

And what has the Democrat controlled congress done? Here’s a clue NOT A DAMN THING! Pelosi talked all that trash about “there’s a new sheriff in town”….and they have done NOTHING.
So it’s both parties man. It’s all garbage. In my humble opinion fire ALL of them and start over with fresh new faces that aren’t personally in the $200,000+ income range or have any invested interest in lobbyists.

E390   July 25th, 2008 - 12:09 pm

Funny how a lib only has a problem when the issue effects them directly. He can vote republican but he is still not conservative. I can’t believe it has taken him this long to figure out the left is all about goverment control.

Deb   July 25th, 2008 - 1:08 pm

I guess he prefers facism, cuz that’s what rethuglicans are all about

Usaq Madik   July 25th, 2008 - 1:36 pm

Ohhhh Deb. You’re an idiot.

Steven Fallon   July 25th, 2008 - 2:26 pm

What happened with Howard is fairly common. Some liberals with something of a conscience will make excuses and use verbal gymnastics to justify liberalism for so long, knowing they are full of crap, until one day something happens (usually to them personally) and that’s when they say “that’s it” and it’s bye-bye liberals and the democratic party. Stern has seen it all and done it all – glad he finally came clean on what democrats are really about.

Pickle Plants   July 25th, 2008 - 2:55 pm

Did anyone else notice Robin in the background “ANYONE???”

She could not believe that Howard was including her Obamaman in the mix. God forbid he not vote for the savior!

Mike   July 25th, 2008 - 3:38 pm

Hey Howard: I realized this about the Democrats when I was in my early 30’s (after being away from Left-Wing college professors and on my own in the real world for a few years). I THOUGHT I WAS SLOW to figure out these snake oil salesmen, you are in your 50’s for God’s sake! What took you so long???

beverly   July 25th, 2008 - 6:07 pm

ricky, ….shut up. you open your mouth and ignorance flows out. you’re probably howard stern incognito…just not man enough to admit it.
yo…yo. you and deb are not worth responding
to except to say……pathetic.

Jack Frost   July 25th, 2008 - 7:04 pm

Mr. Stern.

This is not communism, nor is it “gangsterism”.
This is consumerism.
This is an effort to ensure that there exists competition in the marketplace.
This is an effort to prevent a monopoly from forming.

How can you say “democrats” are against companies when they’re insisting there are two companies competing instead of one that dominates?
I thought competition was supposed to be good. I thought competition and the free market was what conservatives preached. How come competition is good when it suits your argument and “gangsterism” when it doesn’t?

Basically, you’re exposing yourself as a “me first” kinda guy – which is disappointing because I always defended you and thought you were a nice, thoughtful, intelligent guy.
You just support politicians as long as there’s something in it for your pocket book.
We all know you and your employer stand to earn millions from this merger.
What about the rest of us who would have to pay more because there’s no competition anymore?

Opposing this merger is the right thing to do.

Jack Frost   July 25th, 2008 - 7:07 pm

Anyone who thinks Democrats are Socialists, is completely ignorant on both subjects.
