Since the initial report, a spokesman for Maliki has said that the comments in the magazine report "were misunderstood, mistranslated and not conveyed accurately." See the related link for more.

One rule of thumb that all would be wise to follow is belive 1/2 of all you see and 1/10 of all you hear when it comes to the MSM.

This is a prime example; we went in less that 12 hrs. from Maliki and Obama being in agreement on an 18 month phased withdrawl of US forces from Iraq to a “the comments in the magazine report were misunderstood, mistranslated and not conveyed accurately.”

These inaccuracies in reporting are done intentionally by the leftwing media in an attemp to breath life and a aura of competence in the Obama campaign. but alas they are all smoke and mirrors…weed smoke and mirrors with lines of coke on them.

Keep in mind this story originated in Germany where the leftist over there can boast of the highest levels of anti Bush and anti war rhetoric that is around – particularly in their press. ABC is reporting the story from Germany was accidentally leaked from the white house in an email.

My wife is from Germany but has a level head on her shoulders and is very bright. She has been in the states for 20 years desiring to live here.

When we visit over though there seems to be a large pacifist mentality – still there from the aftermath of WWII – not kidding. My wife will be the first to point this out.

German citizens for the most part do not want war for any reason and are opposed to it at any cost – they are pacifist in the true sense making excuses for all of our enemies willing to give into their demands for the sake of peace. Their society is made up of a socialist /pacifist mentality.

Getting back, the story from (http://www.spiegel.de/international) was then picked up over here where the lefties in the media jumped all over it to try and bolster the incredible lack of experience coming from their candidate. You should see how the German news site is spinning this thing (see the link). Pure propaganda for their preferred candidate!

The lefties here are only in favor of military action if they are calling the shots – a shift from their roots of the hippies “peace, love – not war” movement. It is interesting to watch the dynamics at play here but the human condition intertwined with one another is sending us down a rocky road as certain groups jockey for power.

Tubby was 100% correct about MSM and about the leftist media in general – but you could also apply that same rule with differing degrees across the board and across this world in many respects.

Something tells me Maliki got a little call from his friends at the Bush administration right after the first article went out!

And something tells me that the cheerleaders errrr media went with rumors instead of fact.

if Maliki did not say this, I’m sure those in the media on the right will disprove this falicy and we’ll see the conservative leaders speak out against these lies. That is, if there are lies here at all.

These guys are ungrateful traitors. After all Bush has done to empower them… now they betray him!

We went into Iraq because they wanted us to help them. We didn’t want to do it but we had a duty. Now some nutcase is trying to run their country and is pretending he wants us to leave. It doesn’t mater what he says, we are going to stay there and do our duty.

I am very worried about Obamas safety during his trip to help our troops in Iraq. Hopefully his sprit guide will be at his side protecting him all the time. We had a group meditation gathering last night. There were 21 brave souls meditating together offering their spirit guides to Obama to insure his safety. When he safely arrives back all of my fellow meditators will be delighted to know they helped protect this great man.

Obama 08
May he travel freely and safely

Those “spirit guides” you refer to are the American soldier!
