Awwww, the poor little Dear. I’m sure she was just minding her own business, being completely cooperative with the screeners and the process and she didn’t do anything wrong to deserve being treated like anyone else who cooperates in the manners she did.

What a bunch of BULL. There’s more to this than she is telling and it will be interesting to see what actually did happen to prompt screeners to call the cops over in the first place and then for the cops to get her attention in the way they felt it necessary.

What’s a four letter word for a woman, that ends in _unt? … Aunt … but that’s not the word I’m looking for here.

Typical for rent-a-cops. Small minded jack-booted thugs with badges. Making minimum wages on 9/10/2001 and then they’re federal employees when the Fed had to suddenly hire them on 9/11/2001. Anyone who travels on the airlines sees this every day! Their (cops) attitude is “You dumb-asses are lucky we don’t crack your skulls just for being here!” I’ve seen these freaks pull some stupid crap! Watch the video and tell me what she was doing to warrant the roughing up she took! Fire the assholes! Throw em in the joint and let try that crap with real criminals! Punks for hall monitors are all they are! Barney Fife went to town and got a job at the airport!Their dad must have abused them soooo bad! I think I’ll fly thru Reagan tomorrow and get me some a that $10m action! Punk ass bitches!

A professional victim hard at work.

“wouldn’t you like to know what was said?”
No, mostly, I’d just like to punch that damn idiot reporter!

Since the cop didn’t release the recording HE had, you know he was in the wrong.

I don’t know about this situation, but I have seen snotty, rule, bellicose TSA personnel…most of whom were on a power trip.

Mike   July 11th, 2008 - 1:53 am

I am a 68-year-old mild-mannered male who was pushed and nearly punched by a TSA person because I was carrying a case given to me at the last minute at my brother’s funeral which I had flown across the contry to attend and now was flying back. The friend of my brother who gave it to me said; “You brother wanted you to have this.”

After the long, long wait, I put the case on the belt, along with my keys and the small mount of change in my pocket. As soon as it went through the xray, the TSA guy came over and literally yanked me out of line and started pushing me. He asked why the case wasn’t opened. (It wasn’t locked; you could open it just by pulling the zipper.) I said I didn’t know it had to be. He got very belligerent and asked, “Diidn’t you hear the announcement?” I said, truthfully, that I didn’t. I had heard some very garbled announcement that I coouldn’t understand because whoever made it had his mouth too close to the mic, but I figured that if it were important it would be repeated.

Apparently the announcement had been to take computers and other electronic equipment out of their cases. What was in the case from my now dead brother was a video camera. Of course I apologized, but it did no good. The guy who had pulled me out of line gave me a shove towards the back. Believe me, I offered no resistance, didn’t even grumble. I learned a long time ago to go with the flow in thise things.

Another TSA guy led me to a small room, pointed to a chair, took the video camera and the case in the back somewhere and didn’t return for 20 minutes, at which time he merely gave it back to me without a word. I had to ask if it was OK to go. He said “Okay.”

I believe they had more fun than I did.

Mike:

Your posting of your experience got me to thinking … 60 plus years ago there were these same types of people in positions of authority. Back then they wore jack-boots and swaztikas.

Your statement that you “… learned a long time ago to go with the flow in thise things.” would bring back memories of “Why didn’t we have the courage to resist them then, before they became too powerful?”

Stan   July 11th, 2008 - 4:17 am

This was only half of the video and extremely badly edited. I saw the whole thing. She didn’t DO anything to trigger such a violent attack.
I would not give her too much money, but I’d like to see the TSA people involved in jail. People who are unable to control themselves don’t belong to airports, not even to the streets.

Hell they can beat the crap out of me for half that amount.

Paul   July 11th, 2008 - 6:30 pm

What does it really matter what was said? If I am in a position of power and I dont like what you said to me, then are you consenting to be beaten up?
