CNN has described what Jackson said as a paraphrase: "That the senator was cutting off his, you know whats, with black people and black church." The actual tape of Jackson's comments will air on Fox News tonight beginning at 8pm.

Jesse wants some publicity. Racial educvation profits must be down.

olddog   July 9th, 2008 - 4:55 pm

Don’t think this is about money, I believe it’s about power & those that have or will get it. Jesse wants to be part of Obama’s administration if he’s elected.

carl   July 9th, 2008 - 4:55 pm

PUMA, compliments of Mister “Himey-town.”

navy65   July 9th, 2008 - 5:00 pm

Jesse is just mad that Obama is preaching to the blacks to better themselves, not to just sit back and take from someone else.
Obama is giving a moral compass to the black men to be real fathers not just squirt and runners.
Jackson has done cr_p for the blacks or race relations ever.

rc in va   July 9th, 2008 - 5:02 pm

What kind of ‘reverand’ uses such language in private, not to mention to a reporter?!? Shameful.

Carlos   July 9th, 2008 - 5:02 pm

Jesse Jackson is a hypocryte and has been a joke for years. Now he wants to make this about race as if Obama is running for president of the United States of Black America instead of the United States of America. Jesse, as a black man in America, you disgust me. Just go away.

OBAMASADISASTER   July 9th, 2008 - 5:04 pm

Jesse’s a jealous bastard.

He’s mad because he thinks that a young, unseasoned, undeserving person should not become president just becasue he’s black.

He thinks he should become president just because he’s black.

kitty   July 9th, 2008 - 5:04 pm

the clinton lovers do NOT want Obama to win this one…..jesse has kissed the clintons rear end for years………..this dust-up couldn’t happen to a nicer guy

Claude   July 9th, 2008 - 5:04 pm

rc in va – Reverend Wright – to answer your question.

steve martinez   July 9th, 2008 - 5:07 pm

There goes Jesse’s chance at an Obama Administration job — Hillary and Bill don’t sound too bad right about now.
Maybe Jesse should have cut off his own **** and not gotten his mistress pregnant years ago. He is a worthless tool who wants blacks to be down so he can complain and line his pockets with corporate pressure money. if black men got off crack, actually raised their kids and got honest jobs, Jesse would be out of a job. He probably pushed MLK to go on the balcony as MLK wasn’t black enough for Jesse.

Dean   July 9th, 2008 - 5:10 pm

Jesse’s corporate blackmail program must be slipping… He needs to bolster his “racial inequity” funds to pay for all those kids he made whoring around on his wife.
This guy is such a waste of flesh. This racist pig has never done “his community” any good. The only thing he’s really accomplished is lining his pockets on the backs of his community. He lives pretty well while his “people” live off the government all the while feeling good about sticking it to whitey… Guess what, Jesse really stuck it to you!

MinniePearlJam   July 9th, 2008 - 5:10 pm

What a pathetic little has-been of a man. By the way, does anyone know where Reverend Jackson’s church is?

Joe   July 9th, 2008 - 5:10 pm

Stone busted. Would somebody please explain to me how, with microphones aplenty, HOW can he claim it was “…a very private moment.” I just wonder how many other Dems are going to let their actual thoughts slip between now and the DNC Convention. There is an ugliness to this party and candidacy that we can only speculate. There is an underminding of his candidacy going on here from the bowels of the DNC. Anybody want to lay bets that he will NOT be the chosen one once Denver dismisses? What gruesome entertainment this bloodsport has become. I couldn’t do it.

DeShawn   July 9th, 2008 - 5:11 pm

What is Jesse worried about. Didn’t he listen to Rev, Wright when he said that Obama is just saying these things to get elected. In Obama’s book, he actually says he learned how to say what white people want to hear from dealing with the white side of his family. He is just saying this stuff now to get whites to trust him. He will still work to increase programs and services for blacks after he is elected. Many believe that he will even pursue and sign the reparations bill now in Congress (by Rep. Conyers) if he is elected. Relax Jesse. Play the game.

if   July 9th, 2008 - 5:12 pm

Typical.

Vi Kenosha   July 9th, 2008 - 5:13 pm

Steve Martinez you have hit the nail on its head. Jessie has been worthless for years. His life revolves around his *****, and now he is trying to wave his HA HA power around. What a foul mouth nobody he is.

Freddy   July 9th, 2008 - 5:13 pm

This is smoke and mirrors. You are being played by Obama – again. Jackson’s son is a co-campaign manager for Obama. Jackson is Obama’s puppet master. You are supposed to believe that Obama and Jackson are against each other.

Both of them are trouble and America will be a disaster if Obama wins.

Jon   July 9th, 2008 - 5:14 pm

Where is Al Sharpton expressing his outrage of such racist comments. Oh wait it must be ok since they are buddies.

Jeff   July 9th, 2008 - 5:15 pm

Steve Martinez….Spot on. Glad someone had balls enough to say it. MLK didn’t trust Jackson for good reason.

Jabba   July 9th, 2008 - 5:16 pm

Jesse’s jealousy on display. “Why didn’t America accept me like they have seemingly accepted Obama?” That thought must be rolling through his mind on a nightly basis!

JimDawg   July 9th, 2008 - 5:17 pm

Ole’ Jesse was tired from his numerous trips to the midwest helping the flood victims – not!

Rick   July 9th, 2008 - 5:17 pm

Has anyone called Imus for his take on this unfortunate incident?

wowee   July 9th, 2008 - 5:17 pm

What would he do with (it) to blacks if it wasn’t cut off? Theres a ugly thought! And is this what goes on at black events that white people dont know about? Why is obamas weenie part of the democrats political agenda? What does nancy pelosie and harry reid plan to do with it if he is elected? Jessie you got some splainnin to dooo!

Richard D.   July 9th, 2008 - 5:20 pm

‘Freddy’ says “Both of them are trouble and America will be a disaster if Obama wins.” Look around ‘Freddy’, after 8 yeras of Bush America is already a disaster.

James X   July 9th, 2008 - 5:21 pm

Is this not the same Jackson, who would not stand up to Mike Nifong’s fraudulent accusations against the white Duke LaCross players?

That was the second Tawana Brawley incident, and Jackson, the civil rights leader was AWOL.

Logic Lee   July 9th, 2008 - 5:21 pm

Consider for a moment the fact that the minority groups who have received the most aid from the government are the lowest achieving minorities.

Government aid creates dependancy and dependancy will not magically morph into self sufficiency.

Do you actually want to succeed then repeat after me…..”I am not a victim.”

Jacob   July 9th, 2008 - 5:24 pm

Has anyone noticed that the pattern of former comrades of Obama strategically coming out and saying negative things about him to give the general public the feeling that Obama is breaking from his past associations. We had Wright come out and say bad things, which allowed Obama to change from not denouncing Wright to denouncing Wright. Then we had Phleger come out and say bad things (in Wrights church) which allowed Obama to finally quit Wrights church. Now we have Jackson saying bad things to try to paint Obama as someone who is finally telling the black man to shape up. I would believe this about Obama if there was any evidence in Obama’s background to show that he really had these feelings, but there isn’t. He never expressed these feeling before. In fact, he didn’t even support Bill Cosby when he made similar statements in the past. Sorry Obama – we’re not going to fall for your campaign tricks.

Dwight Crater   July 9th, 2008 - 5:25 pm

Jesse is up to his same old ways of separation between blacks and the rest of the world. As long as the NAACP and Jesse can keep the separation going, they will have jobs and big salaries. Once the world starts to assimulate all races, then these guys are out of a job and no big salary. They do not want peace among the races. They want the blacks totally dependent on the government handouts, therefore under their control. They need to follow people like Walter Williams, not Jackson or Sharpen.

xdem   July 9th, 2008 - 5:27 pm

Oh great! Now the Democratic (Black only) TEA BAGGING convention in denver is put on hold (Pun intended) until this is resolved! I bet rover is in tears!

Mercedes Guynne   July 9th, 2008 - 5:33 pm

Mr. Jackson (I am too ashamed to honor him with the revered title of Reverend) is a “has been” politician who ran for President of the United States. I strongly believe that he is a crab-in-the-barrel who jealous of the political success of Senator Obama–and even the success of his own son, Representative Jesse Jackson, Jr., a very close confidant of Senator Obama. Mr. Jackson, of all people, should be absolutely silent about criticizing any needed commentary that will help enhance the moral and ethical well being of our society, especially given that he has compromised his own moral integrity and national opinions by producing a child with a very young lover while married to his long time wife! Shame on you Mr. Jackson for allowing the media to pit you against Senator Obama, whether it happened with or without your blessing! The speeches that Senator Obama has been making in those African American churches which targeted America’s young men WERE ALSO FOR YOU!

BarbNM   July 9th, 2008 - 5:35 pm

Looks like those chickens have found a new and better place to come home to roost.

Gomez Addams   July 9th, 2008 - 5:37 pm

Jesse Jack-ass has once again proven what an irrelevant wind-bag he is.

The poverty pimps like jackson, sharpton, S”L”CLC, NAA”L”CP, etc. cannot stand the thought of a black president … it would put them out of the racial protection-racket business.

R.J.   July 9th, 2008 - 5:39 pm

OBomba promised the democratic voters he would bring the troops home by the end of 2009 if he got the nomination. Now he says by the end of 2013 maybe. That’s no different than McShrub. Both the dems and repubs have created the mess this country is in with a sixty billion dollar per month trade debt and a ten trillion dollar national debt that will take over three hundred years to pay off at a billion dollars per day. Both OBomba and McShrub have had to sell their souls to the very corporate monsters that have sold this country out in order to get nominated. A vote for a repub or dem is a vote for the same old b.s.. At least Bob Barr was smart enough to get out of the GOP. ARE YOU?

Bulton   July 9th, 2008 - 5:43 pm

If Al Sharpton is truly an advocate against racism, it’s time for him to step up. This is THE defining moment in his “crusades” against people who make racist remarks. If he cannot go after a fellow black man (and friend) for a comment this shameful, then he will have only proven that he himself is a racist. If Al doesn’t act, he’s a coward. Plain and simple. As for the comment, it’s sad and shameful. There’s simply no excuse… I don’t care if it’s about a guy running for U.S. president or a guy running for president of his neighborhood social club – everyone deserves the exact same respect. Of all people, a “reverend” should know that AND practice it.

JesHil   July 9th, 2008 - 5:50 pm

Hillary to Jesse —– Thanks, good work.

R.J.   July 9th, 2008 - 5:58 pm

JesHil, send you contribution to Clintons get out of debt fund.

Texan   July 9th, 2008 - 5:59 pm

Isn’t this a “hate crime”? Oh sorry, I forgot blacks are incapable of “hate crimes”.

John   July 9th, 2008 - 6:05 pm

Jesse may be the biggest white collar criminal in our history. Add Rev to your name and shake down the corporations and threaten black boycotts by the people you have held down. American Africans could have been in the White House by now, but for the likes of Jackson and Sharpton’s racism and hate mongering. Two faced hypocrits. Democrats have hurt black Americans.

Grayheck   July 9th, 2008 - 6:13 pm

I cannot believe the response from the Obama camp on this one…plus, can you believe that Jackson would respond to reporters with a racial epitaph? Unbelievable:

http://www.socoolaz.com/article.cfm?articleID=30224

H8R   July 9th, 2008 - 6:13 pm

I can’t believe the post by SoCal Patriot got through, strong language, yet was resoundingly accurate in its scope. Also, perhaps some of these “mainstream” investigative reporters should look into the true level of the relationship of Jackson and King at the time leading up to the shooting, he did seem like he was in a position to directly know King’s movements to his appearances.

Matt   July 9th, 2008 - 6:21 pm

Sounds like the “reverend” Jackson just cut off his own n**s.

tomabrahams   July 9th, 2008 - 6:26 pm

RWR   July 9th, 2008 - 6:35 pm

Hey Jesse, Obama could not lose the black vote if he tried. So cut the baloney, no one cares what you think anymore.

m-antony   July 9th, 2008 - 6:49 pm

Jesse is right on, bros! Look , us typical white folks got sold down the river for totin’ and clingin’. Dat preacher got sold down the river fo being racist. The libtards got sold down the river for daT PRIVATE conversation bill(FISA).Da h o mo s got sold down da river for bein’ fruitcakes. Dat white man preacher fo da bible explainin. You know who is next? That is right black people , those “friends” of his in San Francisco , not typical blacks, if any at all. no what i sayin’?

Bobo   July 9th, 2008 - 7:01 pm

Waitiminnit.

Ol’ Jessah is apologizing for making a comment critical of St. Obama. He DIDN’T apologize for making a racist comment.

jbh50   July 9th, 2008 - 7:01 pm

They’re both nutjobs….they deserve each other and the American people deserve neither.

JJ   July 9th, 2008 - 7:10 pm

I’m just speakin’ metaphorically, allegoricly, ebonic-ly, ande euphemisticly here..
You know,..’paraphrasin’ as CNN would say.
What I meant was, uh,.. y’all are sound-biting- our nuts off here. Obama’s nuts are certainly safe and secure. I have the upmost respect for Obama’s nuts and I will support them throughout his campaign. I hereby apologize to Obama AND his nuts for any discomfort I may have caused.

Craig   July 9th, 2008 - 7:31 pm

Bulton, he is NOT a reverend, he loves to be called reverend.

You may have read about him, here,

Matthew 23:5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
Matthew 23:6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
Matthew 23:7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi

JJJaxson, Jr III   July 9th, 2008 - 7:46 pm

Hey Jesse!

Obama’s nuts – take two, they’re small!

SweetPea   July 9th, 2008 - 7:58 pm

Calling Hillary, I think we made a mistake.

Rover   July 9th, 2008 - 8:23 pm

Not even ultra liberal left wing democrat Rover gives a flying s*** about Jackson…

His “love Baby” was the last straw long ago…

These days, he just makes the racial divide in our country worse…

Time to pull the plug on SoCal too…

E390   July 9th, 2008 - 8:55 pm

SoCal hit the nail on the head.
I did not hear I am sorry form the rev, I heard a bunch of blacks- overcame this and that. Don’t worry rev your homeboy obama is just trying to get the white vote. I wanted to cut his nuts off too with all the stupid white people comments he has made. Sweet talk him and maybe you can be the vp. It is time for white churches, white pride tv, and a national org for the advancement of white people after all a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

dswilli   July 9th, 2008 - 9:06 pm

Whatever you say there fake SoCalPatriot.

Let he who is without sin,.. cast out Obama’s stones, eh Rev J? And another Rev bites the dust. Care to make it three, Rev Sharpton?
A three ring circus, with no shortage of clowns.

kevin   July 9th, 2008 - 10:03 pm

A long winded and boring speaker, the video goes goes on and on like the energizer bunny. Yawn, he makes Kerry seem interesting.

Englebert   July 9th, 2008 - 10:17 pm

The problem is Hussein Obama has no nuts…or character, or integrity, or dignity, or any commitment to any ideals, or a brain, or a plan for America, or a sense of responsibility, or any respect for white people, or an edumacation, or any experience. He is but a child with a skinny body and a big head, big and empty

Jesse For VP   July 9th, 2008 - 11:49 pm

JJ seems out of his element having to apologise again. You would think he would be sooo much better at it by now.

HUH?   July 10th, 2008 - 3:17 am

Didn’t hear any apology–just a lot of wind-bagging, blow-hard cr*p.

Jackson sounds a LOT like Hillary, doesn’t he? (You know, the SOUR GRAPES tone…)

Makes you feel kind of sorry for Obama, that so many of his own race are sabotaging his efforts. Reminds you of black-on-black crime… Tragic!

jbh50   July 10th, 2008 - 4:24 am

Nuts, what nuts? BO don’t got no stick’n nuts.

Just another attempt for Flaux News to discredit another great Black American leader. I don’t belive Jackson said this and hope he sues Flaux News for billions.
