California is already seeing decreased revenue coming in as the result of more fuel economic vehicles, the result will be offsetting gas taxes in order to retrieve that lost revenue (we’re in a budget crisis)- essentially wiping out ANY presumed savings. We drive little queer-nut cars, but pay the same. Or we drive normal cars and pay double. That’s where we’re headed- fast.
