Oh come on Lou, Bush has dealt with tragedy very well. Look at how quick he got out to all those white folks in Iowa.

http://www.politiporn.com/

If only there would have been more white folks at the Super Dome in New Orleans, Bush would have come on the presidential yacht to rescue folks. At least he knows his priorities.

Sally   June 20th, 2008 - 2:08 pm

Brother Dobbs is losing it. Why should Bush be impeached over tomatoes? Is it because fewer and fewer people are buying the lie that Iraq was an illegal war? You need tomatoes to impeach him over instead? lol

SteveB   June 20th, 2008 - 2:12 pm

These talking heads just don’t get it…

With or without the impeachment of Bush, government will always be incompetent. It’s the nature of the bureaucratic beast.

But then, who would really expect an organization like CNN to competently cover the news anyway.

Usaq Madik   June 20th, 2008 - 2:15 pm

Right on the money SteveB.

Hey, I have an idea… why don’t we let these same idiots run our health care system!

YES. WE. CAN.

Nope ‘08

John Anderson   June 20th, 2008 - 2:17 pm

I love the way that Lou Dobbs screams and shouts at his reporters, like they’re the ones who have offended him. What his clip failed to show was the severe face beating that Dobbs meted out on the young female reporter just after this clip ended, simply because she was the one unlucky enough to be sitting in the guest chair when Dobbs crossed his “sanity line” that day. You know it gets bad when they have to talk Dobbs down from the top of the CNN flagpole every so often, and have a person specifically hired to retrouser him when he is brought down. With that kind of passion, I think Dobbs should be putting his money where his mouth is, actually do something he believes in, and run for president as an Independent. With the level of dissatisfaction in this country now, any semi-capable Independent would win the 33% needed!

Sweet Countrywide Loans for Dem Senators   June 20th, 2008 - 2:24 pm

The Liberals answer to Incompetent Federal Government:

More Federal Government.

E390   June 20th, 2008 - 2:28 pm

Oh my GOD. I have heard it all now. The left nuts had their king Clinton impeached so they will NEVER stop until they impeach a republican president. They are the party of HATE.

Bob   June 20th, 2008 - 2:28 pm

I really do believe that Lou Dobbs has some intelligence within him. But he also has a few loose screws in his brain.

Stan   June 20th, 2008 - 2:58 pm

PolitiP:
Maybe you should drag your sorry collective a**es out to Iowa (or Wisconsin, or Illinois, or Missouri) and talk to the people who believe your destiny is in your own control.

We’ve dealt with the results of killer EF-5 tornado and record floods that were 12′ higher than what anyone has ever seen. “Black folks”, “white folks” and “hispanic folks” all work together for the common good.

Try that sometime for a refreshing change from your “blame game” mentality.

KJ   June 20th, 2008 - 3:05 pm

Frankly speaking, to stoop to this level is not new. To question our government is exactly what is expected of the American public, but to stoop to blame over the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, I say wow. Given any generation of our country starting with the first, there will always be a gripe. PolitiP, just let go of the race thing my man, you are stuck in a period of history we have long past. Bush, along with other top officials, did not go to the Super Dome immediately because of pure chaos, lack of control of the general public. When rescue/public officials, National Guard, and volunteers were being shot at and beat down for doing there job, would you have gone down there? The folks in the midwest are experiencing disaster of the same scale, if not worse. Don’t hear of any shooting and looting there do you? And PolitiP, if you would be so kind, go see for yourself the cultural mish mash of people we call the Midwest.

Sonya B.   June 20th, 2008 - 3:35 pm

It’s official .. Lou Dobbs has lost it.

m-antony   June 20th, 2008 - 3:49 pm

Is this the same “news” outlet that Roland Martin is on every now and again ? He love him some obama. Left wing nuts. Gas bags. And f a g s!!!!!

[...] Really. [...]

KellyJ   June 20th, 2008 - 3:51 pm

The fact that the contaminated food was even detected and pulled from the market (preventing an even wider outbreak of food poisoning) demonstrates that the FDA is doing it’s job and that Dobbs has no clue what he is talking about…again. Still. As usual.

wolf   June 20th, 2008 - 4:02 pm

The FDA will not say where the contaminated tomatoes came from, because it is not politically correct to admit that our food is coming from other countries where they use vegetable fields as a bathroom. The first thing you are warned about when you go south of the border is not to eat fresh vegetables!

Patti   June 20th, 2008 - 4:21 pm

“Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!!!”

haha…Lou Dobbs is insane! Is there no embarrassment on his end for making that statement?

Geez…the FDA is a separate entity with it’s own hierarchy. These agencies have bosses for a reason…the President doesn’t control them.

Read a book Lou…and learn a lesson!

gumball   June 20th, 2008 - 4:23 pm

They came from Florida and mexico.. but you won’t hear that ON Commie NUT NEWS

[...] has been a joke for quite a while now, but I think he’s finally gone around the bend. Yesterday he urged that President Bush be impeached over salmonella in tomatoes. [...]

Scott K   June 20th, 2008 - 4:30 pm

PolitiP : everything is about race to you? isn’t it?
lose a job, it’s due to race, not get hired? It’s racial. and on and on… everything under the sun comes down to race. I say F&^* You! get a damn life. Be an adult, be responsible,. And people will respect that, regardless of race. And i guess Bill Clinton was the “first black president” in your eyes. Bill Clinton who’s first choice for his office was not Harlem, no it was in a place too expensive for the government to support the bill. So he choses Harlem as an alternative. There is an absolute hatred and disgust for George Bush, that is neither fair, nor right. Every thing he does, no matter what is deemed racist, homophobic, stupid. It’s really stupid. You people (Liberals) are consumed with hatred. You people (Liberals) are the real racists. Get a man hooked on welfare, keep him on welfare. Then he must vote a certain way to keep that welfare. or government handout. Keep promising to solve problems that never do get solved to hook the very same ones you have on welfare. Don’t you see the cycle here? Ha! better reevaluate your values. fn’ a-hole!

Len   June 20th, 2008 - 4:32 pm

Can we please have some dispassionate “real” news channels. Lou is on of many reasons that I cannot take CNN as a serious news organization. I do believe the acronym stands for the “Communist News Network”!

OregonJake   June 20th, 2008 - 4:53 pm

Lou ! Are you paying attention to these posts ? People are getting more and more convinced that you’ve fallen overboard mentally. I suggest six months of work-study over at Fox to try to re-balance things. Couldn’t hurt. Until then, stick to the immigration thing. That worked.

Caine   June 20th, 2008 - 4:56 pm

If I was the host sitting across from him in this interview, I would have probably spewed the next mouthful of coffee in his face in a complete eruption of laughter.

The absolute passion in his eyes! The tense and deep lines in his face that speak of an overwhelming concern for people being subjected to the wiles of terrorism!!!
Huh? What? This isnt about……?
No…your kidding, right? President Bush is responsible for salmonella laden tomatoes!

Muahahahahah…..muahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

Oh…the horror!

I swear…this is the first time I have heard Mr. Dobbs speak this forcefully about any one issue.

Amazing articulation and passion! Save those tomatoes, Mr. Dobbs!

And down with the people not making them safe!!!!

(muahahahahahahahah!!!)

Nancy Howard   June 20th, 2008 - 5:03 pm

Lou needs vacation bad, Make it a long one. Why don’t you blame the government like congress . I had to laugh. So much for being and independent. your programs are so bias . Why don’t you all wake up and just start respecting one another. Remember what happened it other administrations.
God Help you all.
Cnn no wonder your ratings are down.

Hello Are You Thinking   June 20th, 2008 - 5:31 pm

2 words: President Cheney

JackS   June 20th, 2008 - 5:32 pm

I think what Dobbs is referring to is the fact that with all the food problems and product hazards we have endured from the Chinese and the food contamination problems we endure from that 3rd world country south of our border it is apparent that the FDA is no longer functioning and appears to be tightly in the pocket of the politicians in Washington who are represented by Bush and the American agri-businesses located in Mexico that have all but destroyed the Mexican farmer. (how is that for a rambling sentence)

Rather than blame Bush it would probably make more sense to blame the FDA who apparently have abandoned their mission to protect the CONSUMER and choose to shield the food industry from it’s responsibility for producing safe food.

Jim   June 20th, 2008 - 5:36 pm

Do they not realize that accusing Bush of impeachable offenses at every turn loses its impact. It has become such a trite statement that as soon as I hear this comment I mentally disengage from the news, conversation etc.

I don’t recall people blaming storms on Clinton, sicknesses on his leadership or saying that if Clinton had better negotiated with Milosovich we could have avoided combat in Eastern Europe, which btw after all these years we still have military in that region.

Every time a liberal opens his mouth I hear political posturing and attack.

willie   June 20th, 2008 - 5:44 pm

Who’s this Sal Monella that everyone is talking about?

Martin   June 20th, 2008 - 5:45 pm

If you think Lou Dobbs has “lost it”, you should listen to Jack Cafferty… also on CNN.They are becoming increasingly offensive as the election campaign begins to get underway. Their anti-Republican bias knows no bounds. They are becoming increasingly more hysterical with each passing day. These looney tunes should be heavily medicated with Seroquel or something similar and placed in a padded cell until they return to sanity.

Joey J   June 20th, 2008 - 6:32 pm

Lou Dobbs, Jack Cafferty, Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, Geraldo Rivera etc… they are all one in the same, Ideological midgets!

Al Jazeera   June 20th, 2008 - 6:46 pm

Press Release: 20/06/2008

We at Al Jazeera would like to formally apologize for the outburst by Mr. Dobbs at our affiliate station CNN. It is not the intention of Al Jazeera or any of its anchors at CNN to initiate a revolution or political referendum. Our anchors at CNN, and others such as NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, etc., are fully trained in the suttle art of manipulating the weakest of American minds, though we do not condone the outright call to arms or Jihad.

On behalf of Mr. Dobbs, who, within the last few ours of isolation – all by himself – has recorded an apology by audiotape under his own free will which we will release very soon, we humbly request your continued viewership.

Praise Be To Allah

Flyoverman   June 20th, 2008 - 7:06 pm

I think Lou just jumped the shark.

RFA   June 20th, 2008 - 7:16 pm

“Is there any sense of embarrassment?”

Someone should ask that very question about this mans show.

He is an ignoramus and his audience is too shallow to see beyond his assininity.

jbh50   June 20th, 2008 - 8:51 pm

Bush lied, tomatoes fried.

Marv   June 20th, 2008 - 9:07 pm

Impeach?
On What grounds?
C’mon Lou, read the Constitution of the United States (if you have a copy)…..

dswilli   June 20th, 2008 - 9:24 pm

Hey Lou shutup, your embarrassing yourself again.

Maddie   June 20th, 2008 - 10:12 pm

LOL…some of the comments on here are hysterical.

Not only do we (conservatives) have better sex lives, but we’re funny as hell too.

Conrad   June 20th, 2008 - 10:31 pm

Dobbs in nuts. If he thinks tomatoes are bad under Bush, wait til the Libs get in office, you won’t have a vegetable that’s safe to eat or even look at because the Illegals will have completely overrun this country and you’ll have socialized medicine so you’ll die before you can ever get to see a doctor and the streets will be paved with barf so everyone will be slipping and sliding and crashing into one another.

I agree with the poster who said this isn’t Bush’s fault, it is the FDA’s. Bush can’t be held responsible for what those government agencies do. They were started by the Liberals and are out of control.

Everyone says impeach, impeach, impeach but President has kept us safe for 8 years and he has kept gas prices lower than what they would be if the libtards were in control. This country would be on the verge of bankruptcy if they were in office. If Obama Hussain get elected the terrorists will be dancing in the streets and when they are finished dancing they will come over here and slit our throats.

Mike 1962   June 20th, 2008 - 10:39 pm

I have not laugh so hard you guys are great

Wonder can we Impeach CNN lol

Barry DeWalt   June 20th, 2008 - 10:51 pm

Lou has really lost it . They blamed Bush for Katrina , they are also blaming him for the hangnail and ingrown toenails . NO wonder no one is watching CNN anymore !

Barry

Bill Smith   June 20th, 2008 - 11:11 pm

I didn’t know that the FDA was supposed to come wash my tomatoes for me. Hey! You! Over here, and do my shirts, too!

Phyllis   June 20th, 2008 - 11:14 pm

I didn’t know it was the Presidents job to check our produce too!!
When will these incessant Impeachment threats end?

Ted   June 20th, 2008 - 11:16 pm

I think a few in here would do a 180 if they were blessed with a dose of Salmonella…lol Like they say “Sometimes it’s funny when it happens to others, but it’s not so funny when it happens to you”

N Waff   June 20th, 2008 - 11:28 pm

== INGROWN TOENAILS ==
With the increase in cases of ingrown toenails, I think that’s sufficient reason to impeach the President.

mike   June 20th, 2008 - 11:29 pm

Lou dobbs makes a point. This administration has proven itself to be DISFUNCTIONAL with regard to IT’S CITIZENS. There is no more consumer advocacy. The people appointed by bush to run these agencies have failed misirably.

They got one guy in a warehouse “inspecting” imported toys. Anymore inspectors would infringe on “free enterprise”, so let the kids gnaw on lead.

Ernie   June 20th, 2008 - 11:41 pm

Hmmm we didn’t have any salmonella laced tomatoes until the democrats took over Congress.

Rover   June 21st, 2008 - 12:10 am

Although screams for the impeachment of Bush always warm my heart, Lou is in fact a nut case. He always has been. He was incorrectly potty trained or something. Although he can read the scripts from the teleprompter well, he just can’t be allowed to ad lib. Poor Lou will probably have to go to FOX soon…

Lee   June 21st, 2008 - 12:23 am

Yeah, the FDA was in such good shape before Bush came along. Dobbs either thinks the CNN audience is sharp as a bowling ball or he has had a stroke he doesn’t know about.

Dee Light   June 21st, 2008 - 1:10 am

How can a man of such limited mental abilities as Dobbs host a major show on CNN? There are just no standards left in ‘BIG MEDIA’! It’s a reflection of the severe ‘dumbing down’ apparent in all institutions that the Libs control. If anyone should be embarrassed it’s Dobbs and the CNN brass that allow him to appear on public airwaves.

Steve   June 21st, 2008 - 1:22 am

I’m simply not believing this talking head. I am amazed at the arrogance of these liberals who think that they actually have some influence.

SoCal Patriot   June 21st, 2008 - 3:17 am

My 8 favorite Rover quotes:
“I am 47 years out of the God given womb myself…”
“I am semi-retired at 44… My internet business is in the black in my first year :D”
“I am 47. Power engineer (can’t spell).”
“OK, so you got me, big deal your smarter than a 14 year old. Are you happy now?”
“Screw you SoCal. That was 6 moths ago. I’m 15 now dummy!”
“If he was a nig, we would lynch him for sure”
“No!!, Low Cal Patsy, “I” am the anti-Semite! You just got dragged into it because you were standing next to me in cyberspace.”
“Ok, to Hell with the constitution!”

47, 44, 47, 14, now 15, racist, anti-Semite, traitor and he’s an admitted democrat. (Go figure)

Too funny…

jamaljk   June 21st, 2008 - 3:46 am

President Bush should be impeached. Since he’ll be done with his term in 6 months, and since an impeachment takes time, I think congress should vote to extend his term another 2-3 years, so they’ll have ample time to impeach him.

Mike E.   June 21st, 2008 - 4:50 am

Send Bush to jail.

SoCal Patriot   June 21st, 2008 - 5:03 am

Good thing that liberal fantasy doesn’t count…

Greg Nottingham   June 21st, 2008 - 5:26 am

Get a clue. Elect a President who doesn’t believe in government and install political appointees who believe the same while ensuring there are inadequate numbers of inspectors and this is what you get. The country deserves what it gets for electing these people.

Jesussticker   June 21st, 2008 - 6:29 am

Bush should have been impeached a long time ago.

War crimes. Treason.

Christopher   June 21st, 2008 - 7:25 am

Havent had a large plane crash in how many years?-zero credit Yet people are getting sick from food as if that is new? Bush better watch it, anything that goes wrong in this country is going to be followed by a blame Bush and impeach him. I sincerely hope Obama wins…we need to make a list of every stupid reason people have come up with to impeach Bush and apply the same standard to the next Democrat. How many people got sick from bad Apples in the 90’s, beef e-coli, Plane crashes, Chinese toys had just as much lead in them then but obviously no one was checking. Why wasnt Clinton called out?

Dave's world   June 21st, 2008 - 7:48 am

Nice stretch Greg Nottingham. Do you harbor such ill will for Bill Clinton? His cutting and gutting of the military emboldened terrorist’s around the world. In fact if Bill Clinton had done his job and taken Bin Laden when the Somalian government offered. There is a real good chance that 10,000 or so American who died in the WTC and in combat would be alive today. But Clinton was your guy so all that’s cool with you. While Bush has done a lousy job on immigration he has prosecuted the war as well as could be expected. You libs are are really getting tiresome wanting to impeach every time the wind changes direction. Makes you all look small and petty. I guess that’s because you are small and petty.

R. Link Idaho   June 21st, 2008 - 2:29 pm

The fools at CNN must believe Lou’s constant rant makes ratings. This old fool should be put out to pasture to howl at the Moon.

Shandooga   June 23rd, 2008 - 11:31 am

Watch Endgame: Blueprint for Global Enslavement and this will make sense. And, no, there is no sense of embarrassment. This “mistake” is in line with achieving the Bilderberg Group’s goal of 50%-80% global depopulation.
