Obviously, MSNBC got a call from Hussein Obama and was told to take that ad down. I guess it was the gogo girl outlines that upset ‘em. What do you expect from a loser cable network and a candidates wife that hates white people? That they need to “repackage” and do an image makeover on her tells me all I need to know.

seriously – i am not an obama supporter. that said, i really don’t understand the problem with this commercial. isn’t the whole point of the obama campaign to be ‘new and different’? weren’t we supposed to accept the ‘fist bump’ as normal for the new generation? (actually, i’m white and 41, and i ‘fist bump’ my friends all the time)

my suspicion is, as Joser stated, that the obama camp saw this and got scared of the image it presents. they probably thought it looked too ‘BET’ for the white folk.

and again i agree with Joser, the fact that they need to give her an ‘image makeover’ tells me enough about the obamas. he crawled across the finish line, and is clearly the weaker democratic candidate.

unfortunately mccain and his ‘high road’ approach may just give obama the white house, but it’s sure to be a 1-term deal, followed by 12-20 years of conservative leadership. that’s what carter did for the US, and this guy is worse than carter.

Even the anchorman and the news station he used to work for in Los Angeles years ago couldn’t stand the guy because he was so immature and narcissistic. This garbage isn’t news, it’s just a private little children’s club that gets their stuff put out on national television. Standards of every kind have disappeared since the day Matthews came on the air.

I’m still trying to figure out what the “inappropriate” images were. The fact they were ‘blackout’ silhouetts and she’s Black? Were they deemed ‘racist’ by the PC crowd?

Before the Spelling Nazi ‘Fed-Up’ drops a load of himeself in his shorts over my misspelling of the word writing, let me correct myself now.

I agree. what in the world was “inappropriate” with the ad. Can you imagin what the world will be like with Obama as president. The censors will be working overtime, well I guess he could then claim he created jobs.

They didn’t pull the promo because of the fist-bump, “just a thinker.” They pulled the promo because of the several subtly suggestive semblance shots of her in short-skirt silhouette, all set in staccato sequence.

Her handlers obviously want her to come off as a potential first lady, not as a short skirted leg-flashing demi-tart. So they quite rightly asked the juvenile program promoters at MSNBC to pull the damn ad!

The whole idea of a “make-over” for Michelle, was to try and undo the clear initial impression she had created entirely on her own, as a somewhat whiny, self-centered woman who could barely mask her contempt for this country, notwithstanding all the advantages she had enjoyed here. “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country . . .”

So far, her appearance on The View did little to undo the self-centered portion of that because she told them that of course she was proud of her country . . . look what it had done for her! But they cannot get her to simply apologize for her prior comment, or even say that she had badly misspoken. They are limited to trying to weave a new image all around it.

Unfortunately, the old adage is true. You only get one chance to create a first impression! And she blew it.

They should have made the shadow red like a Commie.
