Mac is the best the GOP could come up with? Repubs are pissed! Obama is a marxist with every liberal loon licking his feet, and now with gore spooning with him the dems look like a twisted mess of mush brained idiots! Globel warming is gona go down as the biggest hoax of all time, with evil men becoming more powerful with the cash generated from this pathetic farce.

Sorry cons. McCain can’t just flip flop on this one because his pollsters tell him to believe in global warming. Like the delusional imbecil in the white house, he believes in what he is told to believe in.

But on your shiny side, McCain’s climate plan is about as well thought out as the invasion of Iraq. So you don’t have anything to worry about. If global warming fails to destroy us, McCain’s climate plan will. He has plenty of perks for polluters in there and a time line that will go on almost as long as he has been living. The first part of his plan will start having an effect in 2012 right when he would be leaving office.

But aside from John, Cindy, and the six of you, everyone else is going to vote for Obama and Democrats across the board. So quite whining and do something constructive like cleaning up your trailer or try to find a job. With all the immigration pressure, there is plenty of seasonal farm work waiting for you now!

Obama said over the weekend that the high gas prices is a good thing. He wouldnt mind seeing them get higher.

definitely looking out for the little guy.

Drill here. Drill now.

As bad of a choice for the party nomination as McCain is it still says a whole lot about the obama campaign, and not good, that he is not running away with this election. There’s no way a “fresh, new messiah” should be even in polling with the conservatives’ 6th or lower choice for president.

GlobalObserver   June 17th, 2008 - 5:41 pm

What? Has McCain suddenly turned into McGore?

Over 31,000 American scientists have petitioned the government to abandon their hypothesis on Global Warming due to lack of evidence. And we listen instead to stupid politicians?

You can read the petition, and their 31,000 names online at http://www.petitionproject.org

Almost single-handedly, Al Gore has completely eliminated natural disasters from the face of the earth. Suddenly, over the past year, they’ve all become man-made!

“But aside from John, Cindy, and the six of you, everyone else is going to vote for Obama and Democrats across the board.”

Libsukbad beat me to the obvious…

Why don’t we wait and see how things look after Barry has had a few months to actually describe his plans for change. Thus far he’s just had to yell “Hope for change! Yes we can!” and you lib lemmings follow lock step.

Cleaning the trailer? You mean we greedy corporate fat cat Conservatives/Republicans Barry wants to tax to pay for you lib losers actually aren’t rich? Well what do you know! Please let your messiah know.

GlobalObserver,

Did you really read that website? A B.S. degree doesn’t make you a scientist.

Dave   June 17th, 2008 - 8:01 pm

All of the politicians are A holes and none are welcome in my home.

Bill   June 17th, 2008 - 10:05 pm

“Did you really read that website? A B.S. degree doesn’t make you a scientist.”

Wow a Bachelor of Science degree can’t make a scientist? This will shock a lot of scientists. I think you are thinking of Doctors. But Ph.D.s are on the list as well. Granted they aren’t ex-vice presidents and UN bureaucrats. You need a different type of BS to achieve that.

if   June 17th, 2008 - 10:39 pm

over 9000 Phd’s from that list of 31,000 know man made Global Warming is a HOAX!! It’s all about the money baby! If albert gore that efeminate cry baby is for it it must be bad for America.

Rover   June 17th, 2008 - 11:23 pm

Sorry but this old fella McCain is in for a wake up call this November. If he thinks Independents are so stupid that they will believe he cares about Global Warming he has a rude awakening.

IQ levels for Democrats rate at the top of the scale with an average of 115.

Independents – 109

Green Party/Peace and Freedom etc. – 107

Republicans – 94

Only proves stupid people would vote for an old guy like McCain who can’t decide on what he stands for.

McCain is as loony as Bush said he was. Every moron knows that global warming doesn’t exist.

“If” and all you other people w/o a science background:
The total PhD population is about 1,900,000 according to the US Bureau of Census, so the number of PhDs who have signed this petition, assuming they are all legitimate, represents affactor of about 0.0005, or about 1/20 of one percent. Pretty tiny. And having a PhD in Math or Computer Science or Vetrenary Medicine, for instance, doesn’t qualify one to be an expert in climatology, just as having a PhD in Climatology doesn’t qualify one as an expert in computer science. Those people are entitled to their opinions, of course, and they may be right, but they are not experts in the relevant fields

As to the BS degree, the percentage is even smaller. What is more important, though, is that a BS degree doesn’t make one a scientist. If you go no further than that degree, you can be a nurse, police officer, vet’s assistant, lab technician, medical technician, respiratory therapist, etc., depending on the particular program you followed, but in no case are you considered a scientist. You usually need further training for those jobs, as well. Someone with a BS degree might be the nicest, kindest, smartest, strongest, richest person in the world but the BS degree doesn’t make him or her an expert or even particularly knowledgeable in the area of global warming.

So, while global warming may be a legitimate subject for debate, a site like this exists only to change public opinion through trickery, in particular by fooling people who do not have the time or background to make intelligent choices. Makes you wonder who’s behind it.

Bob   June 18th, 2008 - 8:18 pm

The list involves people in the field of climate research. It is not a random sampling of BS degrees. I think you know that. Its a much higher number than the UN sampling and the UN cherry picked their scientists.

Sure you can get a B.S. in a field other than science. But trying to say a scientist with a B.S. degree can’t be a scientist is ludicrous. Granted if you want to do research for a large company then you usually need to go on to graduate school. But a scientist with a B.S. degree means he/she went to college for four years and studied a general area of science.

A site like that exists because alarmists run from debate by crying “consensus” because Al Gore told them there was. There is no such consensus and never was. Consensus is a term that means something in politics, not science. Science doesn’t work by popular vote and you don’t have the votes even if it did. I suspect a great number of alarmists actually don’t buy into it either if their lifestyle is any indicator. But they see it as a tool to demagogue. It’s junk science and more and more scientists (even IPCC scientists) are coming out publicly against it.
