CNN: "He was emaciated. He hadn't had anything in quite some time. He had open wounds that were festering on both of his feet."

My heart goes out to these poor people. Did the world really do enough to rescue as many as possible? Could there be others buried alive? What else can we do to help rescue these and treat those with medical needs? The women being raped? The children left abandoned? Feel helpless.

Someone came to him and gave him water over a 4 week period…wearing a white coat…

An angel?

Had to have been something out of the ordinary or they would have gone for help to dig him out.

hummm

Sometimes when people have to fight their whole lives with very little to keep them going, their will to live is probably a lot stronger that those of us who don’t even know what a struggle it can be just to survive.

When they are put into the ultimate survival situation…they will prevail where the rest of us would have given up long before.

God bless this man and all of the victims of the Haitian Earthquake.

Good thing Mr Obama got things moving right away. If Bush were still in power, do you think that he would have taken care of them quicker than Katrina victims?

Duh One made the terrible mistake of caring what the rest of the world thought about him and his actions instead of acting the part of one that had the means to help out much more. Haiti NEEDED the military in the first hours to restore the airport control and port facilities, but Obama was afraid of what his friend Hugo and Fidel would say about it….and they said we were invading Haiti, anyway. A politician makes a poor commander.

There are some natural disasters that humans can’t fight fast enough to save everyone involved. Earthquakes, volcanoes, tidal waves and the eventual space rock are all good examples.

Why has no one compared the Haitian earthquake with the Port Royal Jamaica earthquake of the early 1700s? NOBODY came to help in that one.

People….There is NO WAY any human being can survive without water, (or water based product), for more than five days. PERIOD.

CNN’s blatant appeal is nothing more than their propaganda to retain any interest in this story than it deserves.

Ummm… I’m assuming they shaved his face.

“Someone came to him and gave him water over a 4 week period…wearing a white coat…An angel?”

OR maybe it was **SOMEBODY WEARING A WHITE COAT**. Or is that too far fetched?
