While I’m happy to hear that the money is being donated to some very worthwhile causes, I am confused as to how this can be done. Isn’t any gift or prize received by a U.S. official property of the government? Not trying to debate politics; just wondering if anyone knows why that isn’t the case with the Nobel Prize money. Anyone know?

Obama and Gore need to give the Nobel prize back. They were actually political donations by a foreign country, which is illegal in America.

If this is “on the up-and-up” and not being ‘crafted’ by the WH and willing MSM I give him credit for the charity.

Your ideas as a whole have been a breath of fresh air. There is hope. The previous administration slashed and burned the economy and left you with a mess. Their playbook was to do so, and make you look bad. Their policies are limited to one now, and that is to simply say “no”. You have overcome. You and your staff are doing a wonderful job (especially from starting off at a minus from Bush).

The economy is strengthening. For once in the past 9 years the view of the world has turned positive towards us. You have put Representatives and Senators front and center in the public eye by letting them show their true colors during this health care debate. The American public finally sees that the President does not just dictate and the congress ratifies that dictation (as the last President did). The congress makes policy and law. They must do their job. The American people now see that the special interests hold on these members. Soon the ones beholden to those special interests will be voted out, and true work that you had in mind Mr. President will begin.

When majorities increase for the Dems after this coming November, EVERY American will have the possibility to achieve their true potential. I believe in you Sir,….there are so many people who believe in you Sir,…there is an overwhelming majority who believe in you Sir…you will not give up or give in.

You will succeed President Obama, as will America!

How touching.

Once again, just like everything he endorses and pushes this is a common theme. Let’s put the money to people of color – never to whites. It is hard to believe this man was nurtured, both emotionally and financially, totally by his white family with no help from his black family. You would never know it by his actions.

The Student Loan bill which he is pushing allows for any savings to be given to Early Childhood Education (Head Start ) which has nothing to do with college, and Pell Grants and Black colleges —- what do they all have in common – nothing for whites for the most part. While I applaud getting the likes of Sallie Mae out of the middle, I do not applaud the continued push for everything to go to the standard default category – minorities.

White parents you better wake up. Your children are at a grave disadvantage. Just check any corporation that offers internships or scholarships or gives charitable money and you will find that most, and sometimes all, the money will go to anyone but whites. Time to start putting a message out with your dollars and stop buying their products but you need to let them know that you will not support any organization that discriminates and, when white children are excluded, that is discrimination. Why is this accepted ??????
